My husband & I went for pedicures and our technicians were amazing! My husband's feet needed a little more attention & Hanh was incredibly thorough. As for me, I am always getting hurt during my pedicures and honestly, I've gotten used to it. For the first time EVER, I had a pain free pedicure! Manji did so great! They do not have your typical massage chairs however, if you ever research how those chairs actually work, you may never want to go back to those. The reason this facility does not have the typical nail salon smell is because the whole building has an incredible filtration system which includes the water! This alone was enough to want to keep coming. If you look around the salon you can see how intentional they were about the details & the function of the salon. Christina takes the time to personalize each clients cart with a name tag. How sweet is that? I was already loving this salon and had just turned to my husband and told him that I would never go anywhere else when they literally made me love it more. Turns out, they have daily specials. Plus, first time customers get 20% off of their first visit. They just opened in January so their technicians are limited therefore, it is necessary to book your appointment. Sometimes they have same day appointments available. We were lucky enough to get two appointments on the same day. I called and asked if my best friend and I could get our services down at the same time, and they said they have 3 people available to work on us. I decided to pick this location because of the reasonable pricing.. or so I thought.. We were both seated in the pedicure and shortly after Phi started on my best friend. About 5-7 mins later, Rose started on me. There was very minimal conversation. The technicians frequently asked Vivian what kind of service we wanted instead of asking us directly. The third technician never started on either our nails. After my best friends pedicure, Phi did her gel manicure. She didn't do a great job at painting (as shown on photo; you can see it's on her skin) & she didn't scrub/file the callus on her toes. The gel on her hands wasn't eventually distributed so some part is shiny and some part is matte. They asked me to sit at Vivian's table so she could start for me. But because I couldn't figure out a design, she decided to start another customers fill.. she didn't even say anything to me (about skipping my fill and working on someone else) She would turn over and quote me pricing on designs for nail. When I was like I'm ready, she's like okay. After this customer. By then, we had already been at the salon for 2 hours and she said she was willing to stay after the shop is closed to finish my nails.. When she realized that I didn't want to get my nails done anymore, she asked me if I wanted to come back in the morning. My total came out to be $57 for a gel French with callus removal $38 gel manicure best friend $27 basic pedi $3.25 credit card fee I spent more than I usually spend in California. $57 for a gel pedicure when I pay $34 back home is outrageous. Same basic pedicure service.. The staff was very friendly. But the customer service and promise of having 3 technicians working on us and us being there for 2 hours with me walking out with my nails not being done is the reason for the 3 stars. Each of the last three manicures I had included no cuticle prep. They just filed the nail plate down, put on the dehydrator, and did the dip. My actual nails were completely ruined in the process. I have strong nails that I take care of, but after the last few manicures I was left with extremely thin, weak nails. I actually had to take SIX WEEKS off of having anything on my nails so that I could grow them back out. That's how bad of shape my nails were left in. My biggest complaint is that, after coming here for over a year regularly, Jimmy didn't even know my name. He stamped my final punch card entry and it seemed like he had this moment of realization that he had no idea what my name is. Not going to lie - it stung! I got my bridal nails done here!
