I have used meal prep delivery services for many years now. A lot of them can be very expensive,…read moreand they can also be very high in sodium for preservation purposes. I've got caviar taste, and a tuna fish budget. This is my fifth meal delivery service that I've have used in the last 15 years. When I find something I like, I don't change. They usually change, go out of business, or whatever. The last one I had was based out of the East Coast, but had a Los Angeles kitchen. But they and everyone else lost their delivery drivers because California and their tax happy politicians made all the drivers and gig workers go W-2 as opposed to 1099, which means they can't write off vehicles obviously. Well, I lost that service 2 years ago. I went on my own for the last couple years. I put on some pounds slowly, because when I am my own chef, I love my product a little too much if you know what I mean. A friend of mine recommended Mat and Proulx Prep & Performance. www.prepxperformance.com I'm 3 months in, 18 lb down, and going strong with absolutely the best, highest quality, flavorful meals I've ever had from any other service. Let me tell you what you won't get, high sodium for preservation. These meals are cooked fresh every week. I don't think there is a greater value anywhere locally in Los Angeles that gives such a great product, service, at a really good price point. Happy dining

The tortillas themselves are so buttery. i suggest selling some on the side if you don't. they are really good. aside from the really crunchy hard pieces. sausage is just normal pork sausage. although there was only one piece in the burrito i ate. saving the second one for later since it was buy one get one free. eggs were mid. kinda seemed watered down and really light in color. i assume they are probably not fresh from the shell (prepackaged liquid egg) or just added water or cream possibly. potatoes were off to me. i make breakfast burritos all the time at home and the russet potatoes in this burrito taste like they are seasoned with salt and something almost sour? not a huge fan of whatever is on them or maybe i just got a bad batch. not holding it against them. the salsa isn't bad but i've had better. i don't really feel like it brings out any flavors in the burrito. overall i probably wouldn't order from here again. but i assume it isn't like this all the time. i would like it better if it was made to order and i know for a fact that it wasn't as someone whose worked as a cook in a restaurant selling burritos before.
