Based on Yelp reviews I called Nowak for an estimate on Gutter & Downspout Cleaning, I got Voice Mail & left a message. A few weeks later he called me and apologized profusely for forgetting me. He was in the area & asked if could drop by for an estimate. Not feeling well that day, I told him it was fine as long as I didn't have to come outside. He said he would leave the estimate in the door handle. The estimate was very reasonable, especially considering I live in a two story house & already had my Christmas lighting installation done. When I agreed to the estimate Matt asked if I was flexible. He would do the cleaning when he was in the area and I didn't need to be home. The bill would be left in my mailbox. That sounded great to me. It wasn't long before Matt did the cleaning. He did a fabulous job. There was not a speck of debris left around my house. Rain water now goes through the downspout instead of pouring over the side of the gutters. When I called to give him my credit card, I asked if he could put me on a recurring schedule. I've had all my large trees cut down. But there's an evil pin oak next door that hangs over my driveway & yard, wreaking havoc on my vehicles, clogging the gutters and offering a feast of acorns for the delighted squirrels. If I could give this business more than 5 stars, I would. It is amazing just how clean my windows are now. I am truly enjoying their clarity and I often pause just to experience the pleasure of looking outside and not seeing dirt. Super fast contact and I was lucky enough to get squeezed in the next day! Super convenient because it rained like cray the day after! I went on yelp and contacted 5 ppl to get my gutters cleaned and Matt texted me within an hour of sending out the requests. He was actually the second one but the way he presented himself was more professional and the price was exactly the same. This work was on a rental property of mine in VB and I live in DC so he sent photos of before and after to show the work was done and talked about some what he noticed. I needed someone to clean our gutters. Matt was able to squeeze us in for an estimate and said it would be about a week before he could get to us. He texted the next day to say he was available that afternoon and could do the job before the next rain. He was timely, thorough, utterly professional and very courteous. Part of the shingles tore during the process and he repaired it free of charge, even though it had started raining and he had to run to the hardware store. Matt was excellent! He was quick to come out and give us an estimate. Showed up on time to get the job done-he cleaned the gutters, made sure all the downspouts flowed to the ground, and cleared off the roof (putting all the trash in bags he brought with him!) and it also seems he fixed part of our gutter that was broken that we had not mentioned to him, nor expected him to fix!
