These people are scumbags. My mother, who is 82 years old and can't clean our house herself, agreed to pay $688 for these people to come and clean our house 8 days ago. I told her that it was probably a scam and she went ahead with it anyway. Here is what happened:
1. The 2 cleaners arrived 30 mins late and left 30 mins early.
2. They didn't do a thorough job AT ALL. They left dust in several areas, didn't even move the chairs in the kitchen in order to wash the floor, left sticky spots, etc. They even left cobwebs and dead bugs in the corner at the front door (see photo). Unfortunately we didn't notice any of this while they were still here.
3. When they left still owing us 60 minutes worth of cleaning, they left all of their supplies and equipment in our driveway and said their boss will be coming by within 30 minutes to pick everything up and that they didn't want to wait so they were going to take the bus. We thought this was weird and unprofessional but we reluctantly agreed.
4. After they left we noticed that the blinds in my mother's room were stuck all the way up as far as they could go. She had just paid $291 the week before to get them fixed. That is what the company she uses charges per repair visit. When their boss arrived, she came in and inspected the blinds herself, took photos, videos, etc and admitted to us that they are broken and that their cleaners were the ones who broke them. They also almost broke the blinds in my room but they actually told me about mine, which I was able to fix by looking it up on YouTube. They didn't mention breaking my Mom's though and unfortunately I wasn't able to fix them myself. I wonder why they mentioned mine but not the other ones that they actually broke?
5. My Mom sent them receipts, photos, etc and they are just playing games with her. Taking forever to reply, then asking for more info when they already have all of the info. My mom paid another $291 to fix the damage that they caused and sent them the receipt as proof. Now they are saying they need more info because the insurance company says it's insufficient lol. So all in, my mom paid just under $1000 for this brutal experience.
We are both really easy going people. It wasn't a big deal at the time that they were late, left early, left some dirt and dust, but my my Mom is 82, not savvy with email, sending photos, receipts, etc...but she has done everything that they asked and they say it's insufficient. This is 100% elder abuse and a violation of our trust. Your shouldn't have to worry about your belongings being damaged by cleaners, however stuff does happen but they way they are treating her is terrible.
Attached is the just one photo of the dirt, cobweb and bug stuck in the cobweb at our front entrance that I took right after they left.
The pic with the green wallpaper (the one room where there was no issues with the blinds) is how the cord on the blind should look (looping back upwards towards the top); the other pic is of the cord broken in my Mom's room, which their boss admitted was done by them.
In their copy and paste response on another review forum, they provided their phone # and email. My mom has already contacted them at the same # and email SEVERAL TIMES and they have given her nothing but the runaround. They have zero intention of making things right. The latest is that they need a "diagnostic" report from the repair person and that the receipt isn't sufficient. Really? A diagnostic report from a cord being repaired/replaced lol. Just elder abuse if you ask me. My Mom has already sent them everything.
Also, I left a one paragraph comment on Instagram based on the above treatment and all they did was block me. These people do not care about making things right. We should have read the other similar reviews first. Lesson learned. read more
