My landlord had hire AspenClean to clean our apartment and they were great! They gave us an hour window of when they would be arriving and although they arrive in the last two minutes of the window, it wasn't much of a big deal for us. They were really friendly and cleaned everything with attention to details. Our apartment had a lot of dust in small corners and they did not fail to make sure those were all clean. They cleaned for abit over an hour and when they finished they even left us a bag of dishwasher pods! Tried them out and overall they did a decent job. Here's the details: For a two bed two bath townhouse one time clean it was $170 plus tax which is more expensive than most companies out there. They send three people and stayed about 1 H 40 M. The good: I was interested in giving green cleaning products a try and Aspen Clean uses all green products. It makes a HUGE difference because it doesn't mean make your home smell toxic. In fact there's no cleaning product smell at all. They did a decent job with the clean, only a few small dust particles were found. Most places were clean and sparkling. The not so good: price was obviously one as its not affordable for ongoing biweekly cleans. Cleaning products while non toxic did not clean soap scum on edges of bath tub and one of the toilet bowls was still yellow. Not sure if they simply forgot to clean it or if the product is just weak. I ended up pouring store bought bowl cleaner in and cleaning it myself and it ended up white and sparkling. Lastly the team was over an hour late after giving me an hour window to come so I ended up waiting over two hours for them. Verdict: worth a try if you're interested in trying green cleaning services. Not having that toxic smell really makes a difference. read more

Just Wow! We've had some interesting cleaning experiences. It's either not thorough enough or extremely invasive. Our AspenClean experience was a perfect middle ground. Team 3 including Cora, Tina, Elisabeth and Danva showed up fully prepared with all the necessary supplies. They were careful, respectful and extremely polite. The products used has our place smelling like an amazing mix of essential oils- not overwhelming but just the slightest graze of a scent. There were some other details that also add to the experience: green products, booties on all (as to not leave any footprints), speed, etc. We'll likely use AspenClean as our regular service. AND hopefully, I'll see Team 3 again. They were really amazing. read more

I called Aspen cleaners because I read such positive reviews online, however, my personal experience with this company was truly dissapointing. I live in Toronto and reached out to Aspen to help with a post construction cleaning project and the results were poor at best. My unit is ~1800 square feet and the cost if the cleaning was 944$, which would have been alright if it resulted in a sparkling clean apartment but it did not. This particular team was not thorough, missing areas in plain sight, leaving stairs and walls dusty, dirt and stains visible on the floor and whatever cleaning products they used I could see it smeared all over the floor. Some other areas like the washrooms looked practically untouched with dust and dirt in plain sight. I sent pictures of the results to Aspen and they did offer to resend the team in the next day, however, I had scheduled trades coming in the next day and couldn't afford to push the schedule back, so, I had to hire another cleaning service that night to clean properly. The Aspen cleaners also tried to say to the management team that I had trades in the day they were cleaning which is why they couldn't clean properly which was in fact a lie, because I had my sister-in law on site checking in on things. The cleaners also attempted to leave twice after only two hours citing that they were finished and my sister in law then asked them to go finish more thoroughly, at which point she received a lot of eye-rollowing and attitude (the clean was to be 5 hours total for 3 cleaners = 15 hours). Perhaps it was just this particular team who is lacking skill, because I do see a lot of positive reviews on this company (mostly from the Vancouver region), but unfortuntaley that wasn't my experience and I don't recommend using this company if you want it done right the first time. read more

Great clean done by Kim, Sandra and Nica. They were on time very professional and were great with my puppy as well! Place looked very good!

Booked a move in clean and when they got to my house they said there was too much dust due to some light work which had been done on the house and this does not qualify for a move clean and it's a much more expensive post construction clean despite the fact I lived there throughout the entire light work. They then proceeded to clean only my bathroom and kitchen and left it still dirty to the point where I had to go in and do my own cleaning. I honestly would never use that company again and would never recommend it. They are beyond over priced and do a half ass job. read more

Team #5 Bella, did such an amazing cleaning job in my home! I do a very thorough walk through of my house after every clean, and they did a spectacular job. With having two dogs constantly outside playing, their muddy paws and fur get everywhere. Not a trace seen when AspenClean comes through. Thats a huge cleaning things for me, the floors, fur, dust, and mud. So this made me so happy to see spotless floors. This review is a bit overdue as we moved and had very hectic/busy days lately. I booked with Aspen because of the good reviews but I have to say unfortunately I was not happy with the service. Maybe the secret is if you leave a 5-star review, and the tip is on the house. Tip in general I believe should be optional left to the customers discretion to treat the company when they feel they received a good service. Giving you a bit more details: I required cleaning for my 3-bedroom house BEFORE we move in, so the house had no furniture in it. Now although it's a 3-bedroom house, which was not filthy, I specifically mentioned a few times that ALL I need is a thorough cleaning in the kitchen (exclude the floor), windows (5 of them, only interior) and ONLY the crawl space in the basement (and I asked to get rid of the spider webs). It took 4 hours for a team of 4 people (and almost $800 in cost) to NOT complete this. They mentioned they needed more time. After I returned I was told they didn't have time to clean behind the stove. Also although the crawl space was swept, the spider webs was untouched. Inside the cabinets were cleaned, but the cabinets doors were not cleaned properly. They did a good job with the windows and the fridge though. I feel 4 hours and 4 people and an $800 invoice should be sufficient to complete the job I've requested. I have tried other services before and I feel this was way too pricy and not worthwhile the service. I am disappointed that I had to complete the cleaning myself. read more

We have small kids and were looking for reliable cleaners for awhile. Aspen clean was amazing! Team 3 (Vanessa, Tony, Mariela & Sena) did such a wonderful job. They were professional, courteous and came with booties covers for their shoes. I was in awe how quickly they were able to deep clean our house and be so detailed as well. They used all their own eco friendly products and brought their own mop/vacuum/rags. They used different rags for different surfaces to avoid cross contamination. I can't thank them enough! Unfortunately I will not be using AspenClean again as I found their service to be significantly over-priced. The pros: - The cleaning team was friendly and respectful - The clean was top notch - The cleaning products are non-toxic The cons: - The customer service is below par - the team showed up at 8:30am on a Saturday morning when I had booked for 12 noon - The price was prohibitive - I paid $343 for 1.50 hours of cleaning with 4 people for a 900 sq ft apartment - Even with 4 people in 900 sq ft they still managed to go into over time read more

Just had our first try with Aspen Clean (team #18 in Burnaby, BC) and they did a great job. Team of 3 people were on time, polite, courteous, thorough and got to work STRAIGHT away. Not stopping once from what I could tell. We have a 2 bed, 2 bath condo, plus I ordered some extras that were worthwhile (cleaning inside of fridge, marks on walls, cleaning inside of windows). Sure they're a teeny bit pricier than most, BUT we have a baby on the way in two weeks and I wanted a deep clean of the apartment, especially as we've never had a professional clean job in here before (having lived here 12 years..) They more than did the trick. The backsplash in the kitchen is spotless, the bathroom shower doors are gleaming, the kitchen appliances all look brand new. I feel like I can rest and just wait for baby now :-) We will 100% use them again when it comes time to list our place and make sure it's shining for potential buyers. read more

The cleaners were friendly and left a nice note. However their cleaning was a complete waste of time. The home was vacant as we were moving. All we wanted was a thorough clean of all floors, surfaces and cabinets. As well as the insides of appliances (as offered by this company). They only cleaned the floors and all the cabinets and washrooms (shower, tub, sink), inside of fridge and kitchen cabinets were not cleaned thoroughly. We had to clean everything from top to bottom ourselves. Which completed the defeated the purpose. Add insult to injury, they sent 3 cleaners to clean a 1000sq ft condo that was completely empty. The job was done in under 3 hours, but we were charged 8hours of work at $57/hour. So we paid $515 for a floor mop. I have requested a partial refund, and the company has only offered me 10% on my next cleaning or credit. They also keep telling me that I should have called within 24hrs. But because I didn't, they cannot help me. I do not recommend this company. Unless you want to overpay for a floor mop. read more

This was my first time using any kind of a cleaning service, and i was extremely pleased with AspenClean. It was very easy to book, and upon arrival Jody and Mary-Ella immediately told me that the third cleaner who was supposed to join them was very ill, and gave me a new time estimate. I was very appreciative of that and was able to schedule my morning around it. They started working before I'd even put my shoes on to run errands. My home was spotless when they were done, and Jody had me look around to see if there was anything they'd missed that they could clean before they left (nothing at all). She was very straight forward as to one other area they would've like to have gotten to (I'd told them not to worry about it) had they had more time. I was happy with their thoroughness and desire to make sure I was satisfied. I was also impressed with the fact that Jody turned out to be the company's Operations Manager. She was right there with a team of cleaners to ensure everything was being done correctly. The only issue I had was with my invoice. There had been a miscommunication as to how long the cleaners were there for and I was charged much more than what my original estimate had been. I called and and discussed it with the appropriate person, but was refunded only half of the "overage", still more than my estimate. I also found out that it's more expensive to have a team come in on the weekend as opposed to a weekday, something I hadn't been told. read more
