While he ended up not being in the arena for the game (he was called up to play with the Bulls that night, go Yuki!!), I still had such an incredible time. The arena was just a blast. The fans were great, the staff were super enthusiastic, and the team played their hearts out! Mac McClung was on fire and gave it is all as per usual. The crowd went crazy when he hit a clutch 3 point winner. He's such a stand up guy that he even signed autographs for fans after the game. I watched as he took selfies and signed shirts for literally every single person that asked... including me! What a class act!!

The games are fun to watch, with music and entertainment in between play (DJ, dancers, court challenges, t-shirt toss, etc). WCB staff are great to work with regarding ticket sales for groups and using the FEVO site for fundraising makes it easy. I also appreciate the theme games, like Filipino or Hispanic Heritage Nights, where there is added fun and cultural celebrations. There are fun zones and things to do on the concourse too. However, we didn't know until we pulled up for our game it cost $20. They only inspect larger bags. Players wander the stadium to interact with fans. Merch and concessions are reasonable prices. They have a large selection of craft beer. Bathrooms were spacious, but I felt the women's bathroom smelled. The crowd was very pleasant and respectful.

The park itself is nice though, as anywhere you sit will have a good seat. Even if you go for just lawn seats, there are a couple lawn areas on either side you can sit at, a new beer garden that goes all the way down to the baseline, a covered area with picnic tables, and a large kids area with some inflatables and a misting area when it gets hot. Really appreciate the variety of seating options. Parking is ample and free, but getting out can be a pain for busier days. For that July 4th show the fireworks were great, but it took us an hour to get out since everyone was leaving at the same time and it was a packed game. Overall we'll still look to come back here for more games in the future, but may look to sneak in some food in our kid's wagon coming in.

You could not pay me to let one of my children play soccer here. Officiating is nonexistent and it was actually dangerous. I have four children all in sports and have never seen such a dismal display of poor sportsmanship, aggression that was actual assault of young players in a soccer game and officials who were completely checked out. Maybe their other programs are better but the soccer program should be shut down or completely overhauled.

For comparison sake, I really liked the intimacy, vibe and look of nearby Rosemont Theatre for a smaller concert. There are plenty of local restaurants to dine at before a show. However, be prepared to wait in long restaurant and traffic lines to get in and park or exit a concert. Patience will definitely be needed. If you are using shared ride or getting picked up, walk to nearby Target or Ross Stores and get dropped off or picked up there instead. Although it was a Summer night, I am glad I opted for gym shoes vs. sandals, as the much used bathrooms had wet, disgusting floors and the Ladies room layout is very strange. There are two hallways of stalls but you have to walk back towards to stalls to use the hand dryers. Definitely not a well designed layout. But closed toe shoes are a must, in my opinion. For a concert (we saw Styx and Chicago) you can hear and see pretty well from section 101, Row H. Stairs can be challenging to navigate without a railing but ushers help light the stairs if it is dark. I have bad knees so I took the stairs very slow, so as not to trip...or spill my expensive drink either!

He was an advocate that lead me to be recognized as the artist of the year by the local paper. Because of this momentum, I ended up attaining three associate degrees from ECC: graphic design, general arts, and general science. The faculty was supportive and communicative, especially in the design department. The onsite computer lab, library, and study areas were great places to work outside of class. Even the cafeteria was reasonably priced and had many options. Administratively, everything was seamless and easy to navigate. I met with humans a few times, but overall, much of the process is online. The only reason for the missing star is the inconsistency of skilled and practicing adjunct teachers. I had a few that were away from their fields for over 20 years, which made some of the knowledge outdated. But I guess all schools have that issue. I highly recommend ECC for everyone!

I previously attended loyal university in Columbia University, so the contrast was very striking unfortunately. The biggest issue involved clinical placement approval. I had already secured future employment and made plans to relocate to New Hampshire, which is why I proposed completing my clinicals at that site. Students are allowed to complete clinicals during fall, spring, or summer semesters, yet I was not informed until the final day of the semester that June 1 was suddenly being treated as a strict mandatory start date. This decision not only affected my education but also significantly disrupted my relocation and future employment plans. The New Hampshire site would have supervised me through licensed dental assistants and an on site oral surgeon with qualifications equal to or greater than the ECC observer who would normally conduct one observational shift. Despite this, Kim Plate denied the site without giving any clear or reasonable explanation. Multiple compromises were proposed, including Zoom observations and doctor check ins, but she appeared completely unwilling to work toward any solution. The oral surgeon personally emailed her explaining how the decision would negatively impact the office workflow and never even received a response. Before withdrawing, I had already completed nearly 100 hours at an Illinois clinical site, yet Kim Plate stated those hours would not count. Even after management from the site emailed and met with her expressing that the situation was unfair and unnecessarily rigid, she remained unwilling to compromise, ultimately forcing me to withdraw from the clinical courses. Beyond clinicals, Kim Plate was frequently dismissive, sarcastic, and unprofessional toward students. There were also instances where personal matters regarding me were discussed with other students, creating an uncomfortable environment for both myself and classmates. My entire class brought concerns to the dean and Vice President Anne Marie Schopen. Unfortunately, I did not find Vice President Anne Marie Schopen to be helpful, and despite escalating my concerns, I received little guidance, support, or meaningful assistance. The program can teach useful technical skills, but prospective students should understand that the administration, particularly Kim Plate, can make the experience far more stressful and difficult than it needs to be. If your situation falls outside of the program's rigid expectations, be prepared to strongly advocate for yourself.

We were told a shuttle bus would take us to the stadium from the Central Station Purple Line. Even after being picked up and dropped off, it was a 5-8 minute walk to the stadium. There was signage to show us where to go, otherwise we just followed people around us. The directions are to get off at Noyes and walk 20 minutes. I wonder if shuttles will be available during the regular season. Of course the residential/campus areas were swamped with cars so walking is probably better. We got through security no problem, no hassles, but they should have more gates and detectors if they are going to have games here! There were food trucks and booths with alcohol, merch tents, Porto Potties (heck no!) and tents selling food that was of course overpriced. It was a very nice day, cloudy with sun and dry; I can IMAGINE what it's like when it rains! NO indoor spaces to buy food, except a couple of huge tents? I was expecting a Soldier Field/Wrigley field structure where one can move to seats and stay inside but really stacked bleachers. The food trucks were ok but food was not super hot. The field had timers and score boards but not facing south, where we sat. We had to crane to see the score. There should be scoreboards on all sides. We found some indoor restrooms at half time thank goodness, and they were clean. Instead of going back to the seats we walked around and bought more concessions in the patio area. A medical company was giving away prizes, and we were able to see the scores on a big tv (Stars won!) plus there was a play area for kids. The lake view was very nice, I'm glad the Stars are pushing the lakefront attribute, but I can't say I would look forward to coming here regularly, esp as the weather becomes very hot or very cold, as there is no protection from the elements.

And though Classic Cinemas (CC) is a smaller chain, it doesn't mean you're getting less of an experience. I've been here about 3 times in the last two months and I've been very happy with my experience. First... when they say $5 Tuesday, they mean $5 flat, tax included. It is an absolute steal. The theaters have been equipped with reclining leather seats, but one unique feature is that they have built-in seat warmers with two levels of heat! If you're wearing pants or jeans, it's not super strong, but it's still warm enough to keep you from getting cold in the theater. The seats are very comfortable. Second... if you're like me and you can't help but get some popcorn and a drink sometimes, the prices here are way cheaper than in the big chains. I may have to edit this review if I'm off a bit, but from memory... popcorn was like $7/$6/$5 with unlimited refills and drinks were like $5.50/$5.00/$4.50 and also unlimited. One of the times I went, the person working the popcorn machine asked if I wanted butter and when I responded in the affirmative they said, "I got you!" This person then added a scoop of popcorn, then butter, then another scoop of popcorn, followed again by another generous amount of butter, and so on until the bucket was full... the result of which was the best bucket of movie popcorn I have ever eaten. Sadly, when I returned the following week, there was someone else working and when I asked for butter, they pointed to the kiosk behind me and said, "It's over there." So I guess it was a one-time moment of kindness. If you're the employee who likes buttering the popcorn behind the counter and you're reading this, kudos to you! The only reason for 4 stars is that it's not stadium seating, which isn't bad unless the people in front of you need to go to the bathroom frequently. Also, I haven't tried the XQ theater for the ultimate experience, so maybe after that, I'll bring it up to 5.

I for sure miss the original location in the casket company, there was just something about the building that felt more "evil", and it made you feel additionally uneasy going in (the old location is supposed to be actually haunted). Evil Intentions in its new home is still an excellent haunt. I believe we were in the haunt for about 30-40 minutes when it was our turn. The haunt begins outside in a corn maze, which was actually really cool and creepy- you feel like someone is watching you in every part of it. After you find your way out of the corn maze, you enter the indoor part of the haunted house. Great effects/performers and design inside. I would recommend a visit to Evil Intentions and keeping an eye on their multi-year project in the location "Forsaken Hollow", it sounds really fun - a Halloween themed bar, coffee shop, a diagon alley type town square (for those of you that have been to Universal Studios) and more.

A lot of the girl actors stayed in my face for far too long , to the point I had to stop walking and my husband stayed behind with me as my group moved along. There is only so many seconds being in someone's face and in their way is acceptable. It became more annoyance than scary. Overall, if I hadn't been in the area I wouldn't make the trip this year, but I think this place has huge potential for following seasons.

It's a pay lot, but super convenient. Overall, solid complex offering a few options and the ability to be outside. 3.5 stars for me, but since we don't have half stars, 4 it is.

My training was at Crowne Plaza hotel where I was always lodging, so this oasis of entertainment was delightfully within easy walking distance. Once here, you'll find a plethora of restaurants and other activities ("Would you say I have a plethora of piñatas?"). A quick rundown of some of the current restaurants located around the district's circle: Fat Rosie's Taco and Tequila Bar The Sugar factory (milkshakes, sundaes and food items) Bub City BBQ Adobe Gilas Tex Mex Saltwater Coastal Grill Crust Brewing Fogo de Chao Brazilian Strakhouse As for entertainment: Joe's Live for live music and concerts King's Dining & Entertainment (bowling, pool tables and food) An AMC Dine-in theatre Pete's Dueling Piano Bar iFLY indoor skydiving And a nice little dispensary for all of your out-of-state needs when you hail from Indiana! About 15 minutes later, he returned with a refund receipt, saying it was the best he could do. I understand they were extremely busy, but this isn't the way to operate an establishment. You prepay for your food, seat yourself, and then servers wander around aimlessly checking table receipts with no real system or direction. They're clearly in need of table tracker devices or better organization. The bathrooms were clean. The only thing that kept this from being an even harsher review was Mathew, who was genuinely kind and tried to help. Without him, my experience would have been much worse.

Lots of stuff for kids and some battle of the bands stuff, but it's nice to have in the area for the youth population , and I like it because most days there's absolutely nothing going on here, so you can set up shop for a picnic, play frisbee, or just yell loud enough on stage to hear your echo... which is fun for both kids and adults, in case you're wondering. If you've got a kid who's in to acting or making their own plays, this would be the perfect place to take them and their friends on an evening or day that nothing is scheduled to play in the open-air amphitheater. I come by here a few times a week and there's never anyone else over here even trying to use the area... which could roughly fit 150-200 people via picnic-style seating.
