I was told flat out by two people that they don't care if the office policy violates HIPAA and they refused to provide a copy of my ultrasound report to me until my healthcare provider discussed them with me first. Then they said they were calling my healthcare provider to essentially reprimand her for not discussing my results with me yet after I explained they hadn't been received at the time of my last appointment and that I didn't want to bother the provider for them. The radiology office is down the street from my home. My provider is an hour away. I didn't want to pester the provider for something I'm a) entitled to BY FEDERAL LAW from the radiologist and b) I could literally swing by and pick up directly from Hammers. So not only do they feel it is appropriate to violate federal law (which was confirmed for me by the federal office that regulates HIPAA, btw), they made a 23-weeks-pregnant woman cry because they are essentially threatening my relationship with my healthcare provider by calling her and bitching her out when I could have just called and asked her myself. I didn't want to pester her or cause her any trouble, and instead they've now done just that. The emotional part aside, they apparently don't care at all about patient privacy laws in favor of their office policy. I will not ever be returning to this practice again.

He has one request....no perfume or fragrances at the time of visit bc of allergies. Highly recommend the group

She made sure I was comfortable and talked me thru the whole cat scan which took at least ten minutes as I had contrast too. She has no idea how much she made a difference. May she be blessed. Worst experience I have ever had at a medical facility, including the time I almost had my leg…read moreamputated. With the exception of one nurse who walked me to the 2nd of 3 different buildings(!) I had to go to to get 1 MRI, I did not encounter a single worker who was not smug, condescending and inconsiderate. Every request was phrased as a demand, every decision made for me. When I apologized to the MRI tech for being anxious to get off the table at the end of the test, I said "I'm sorry, but my ankle with the metal plate and screws in it was killing me from holding it in that position." Her response "Thats something you should have told me." To which I reminded her "Actually, I believe my exact words before that last set of test was 'I'm in a lot of pain from holding this position." I was met with complete silence. Now, Yale-New Haven is obviously a great hospital. And I'm sure that for actual patient care, this is where you want to be. But if you're just having some tests done: go literally anywhere else.

Came here for an MRI. When I arrived half the parking lot was under water. There was no place to…read morepark. I finally found a spot next to the water and I assumed it was receding. The office was packed , however the checkin process was fairly fast, considering the number of people ahead of me. I was not taken in until one hour after my appointment. The staff notified me that they we're running behind. When I finally got my test, the staff was friendly. The office and equipment seemed a little old, but everything worked out.

This is the only place I will have an MRI done. I don't like tubes. This machine is wide and bright…read morein a bright cool room. I can have a pillow under my knees so my I am comfortable and a mask to cover my eyes and headphones too and even a panic button that I never need. The best thing here, though, is the techs. I've had 3 MRI's over time and all have been so great. They don't just put you in there and leave you. You will be kept in touch (the next scan will take 2 1/2 minutes, etc). I don't know what I would do if this place did not exist.
