After about a 10-15 minute wait I was called back into an exam room where I answered the questions by the nurse and then waited another 5-10 minutes to see Dr. Tisack. Once she came in, she listened to my description of the condition, examined my scalp, confirmed the condition, prescribed the medications needed, and had the prescriptions sent to my pharmacy for pickup. She asked me if I had anything else or any questions, I did not. Dr. Tisack has a pleasant and professional manner with patients and, in my somewhat limited experience, comes across as knowledgeable and confident.

I made the appointment at 3:30, was arrived at 4:15 and was seen and on my way out the door by 4:45. That being said -- I wasn't rushed. I just didn't have to wait, he came in, talked with me at length, both about what was going on and some things that proved how well he knows his stuff and how long he has been doing this (30+ years). However, he seems to be completely up on new info and medicines. I'd highly recommend!

My husband has been a patient of Dr Chiara's for years. After several moves (further and further away from his main office in Milford) he/we are still coming to his practice for any skin concerns we may have. We love the Novi office because it is a lot closer to us than Milford, but we just as gladly drive the additional half hour. Heck, we'd drive to Grand Rapids if we had to. Setting up an appointment is easy, and they do their best to get you in as soon as possible. Talk to Oxana (the Dr's wife) or Lisa (she's awesome) and you will receive stellar service, because both are super friendly and professional. Dr Chiara himself is patient, sweet and wonderful. He will do anything to get you better, and genuinely cares about your progress and well-being in the process.

The booking system is super easy to use mobile and you can search multiple drs schedule easily. I checked in for my appointment and was quickly taken back. I had just scheduled for a skin check so in all I was done in less than an hour on a Friday. Dr. Ko was very sweet and took her time to listen to any of my questions or concerns. Everyone I interacted with at this practice from check in to cash out was friendly. I look forward to coming back next year for another check up.

I visited this clinic seeking help for my son's skin condition. He had developed white patches on his face, which was very distressing for me. Dr. Ko handled the appointment and initially diagnosed him with Pityriasis Alba, prescribing a face wash and cream. We scheduled a follow-up, but during that visit, she changed her diagnosis to vitiligo. I asked how she could make such a diagnosis without performing any tests, such as a blood test or biopsy. She told me there were no tests necessary and that this was simply what it was. I left the appointment feeling very upset and unsure. Seeking a second opinion, I visited another doctor who performed a biopsy. The results confirmed it was not vitiligo. Today, I called the office at 5:08 PM to cancel a future appointment, but they were already closed--even though Google listed their closing time as 5:30 PM. It's disheartening to see doctors give inaccurate diagnoses and play with people's emotions. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Dr. Ko or this office to anyone.

I called about changing my appointment and was told that, because it was my first time, the $100 fee would be waived if I rescheduled. When I later saw the charge, I went to the office with my child, kept my original appointment, received the treatment, and paid for it. While I was there, I was told again that the $100 charge would be removed. It wasn't. After I followed up in person, I was told it was an "honest mistake" and that someone would call me. No one did. My calls and email went unanswered. I disputed the charge with American Express, but the temporary credit has now been reversed, so I am still being charged the $100 I was twice told would be removed. I paid for the treatment I received. What makes me angry is being promised twice that this additional charge would be removed, then having to spend months chasing an answer. Based on my experience, do not go here. I cannot recommend a business that handles a billing problem this way.

I don't know about you, but I do not like going to the doctor. Dentist, general practitioner,…read moredermatologist. I don't discriminate, I dislike them all equally. Dr Chiara on the other hand is the exception to this rule. Him and his staff make it easy and dare I say, pleasant, to set up an appointment and be treated. It is not that I am 'afraid' of any doctor, the problem which I have is that we hold an extremely busy schedule. There is nothing more irksome than to need help, have to wait several days for an appointment and then once you show up on time find out the doctor is running behind. Well - not here, friends. I have never had to wait, and we have always been able to get in easily. We live in Northville and happily drive out to Milford for our appointments. Sure we could find a doctor locally, however we genuinely love this doctor and his staff enough to make the trek out. They do have an office in Novi, which is neat if like us you live closer to that area. The doctor is in Novi on Wednesdays. Lisa and Oxana (the doctor's wife) are wonderful and go above and beyond to help with anything you may need. Doctor Chiara himself is a great doctor whom listens to his patients and works extremely hard to run an efficient, friendly and professional practice. He will remember you if you come in frequently, and has amazing stories to tell about one of his many world travels. You are a person and a friend, and not just a number here.
