I do not recommend this office to anyone. The staff--doctors, front desk, nurses, and back-office personnel--are unprofessional and display a disappointing attitude. From the moment you check in to when you check out, the experience is unpleasant. I'm genuinely surprised this office has so many positive reviews. I visited this clinic seeking help for my son's skin condition. He had developed white patches on his face, which was very distressing for me. Dr. Ko handled the appointment and initially diagnosed him with Pityriasis Alba, prescribing a face wash and cream. We scheduled a follow-up, but during that visit, she changed her diagnosis to vitiligo. I asked how she could make such a diagnosis without performing any tests, such as a blood test or biopsy. She told me there were no tests necessary and that this was simply what it was. I left the appointment feeling very upset and unsure. Seeking a second opinion, I visited another doctor who performed a biopsy. The results confirmed it was not vitiligo. Today, I called the office at 5:08 PM to cancel a future appointment, but they were already closed--even though Google listed their closing time as 5:30 PM. It's disheartening to see doctors give inaccurate diagnoses and play with people's emotions. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Dr. Ko or this office to anyone. read more

I should have read the reviews before scheduling about the front desk staff and this office in general! I always go to west Bloomfield and should have continued to go to that office as I never had any issues! This was the first time going to the Novi location and now after this I'll be finding a new dermatologist! Believe the reviews when you see them. I've never had a problem with other offices when I tell them I don't feel comfortable keeping my card on file. This young ignorant girl told me they can't see me then! I was there for a skin cancer check! How awful to tell someone you can't see them because once you hear their policy that they can charge up to $300 a month it's a load of crap! What if the billing department did not bill properly? Now they charge my card. I don't think so! Go elsewhere and avoid this office! read more

Gezzz these reviews are vastly different than the 4.8 stars from 1k+ reviews??? I got a referral here from my PCP and was happy to find I could schedule my appointment online even being a new patient. The booking system is super easy to use mobile and you can search multiple drs schedule easily. I checked in for my appointment and was quickly taken back. I had just scheduled for a skin check so in all I was done in less than an hour on a Friday. Dr. Ko was very sweet and took her time to listen to any of my questions or concerns. Everyone I interacted with at this practice from check in to cash out was friendly. I look forward to coming back next year for another check up. read more

Extremely disappointed with my experience. I waited over 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, and when I politely asked for an update, the staff was rude and dismissive. After being told they had my chart, I still had to wait another 10 minutes with no communication. On top of all that, I wasn't even going to be seen by a doctor--only a PA. Poor communication, long wait times, and unprofessional behavior made this a frustrating and stressful visit. I won't be returning. read more

Fraud... the doctor biopsied three small moles, for no good reason leaving me with huge circle scars. Find any other dermatologist then this location. I am convinced they removed the moles just to bill insurance. read more

I have been coming here for years for my Stelara shots. it used to be they would give it to me and now it got switched to the shots being mailed to me and I am giving them to myself. I have to come in twice a year for blood work and once a year for a TB test. Now every time I come in the prices are different I feel like I am being ripped off every time I walk through that door.....one time there's no charge for blood work the next time there's $100 charge for blood work. I guess now they are owned by a corporation that is very greedy so make sure when you go in you get their price list so you don't get charged differently every time you go read more

The doctors and staff at Novi are fine. The office is unreachable by phone. You get sent to an answering service that hangs up on you because they are too understaffed. The office directed me to an online portal for scheduling appointments and all out does is display; it does not allow you to edit, schedule, or cancel appointments. read more

The front desk ladies are always rude to me. I put up with it because I like Dr. Kerwin and Cetner.They became too busy and started dipping in and out of the room for 2 minutes at most for my appointments. Then I saw the PAs in hopes of having longer appointments where I could get my questions answered and discuss treatment plans. They were who were also very nice. But they cancelled my appointment less than 24 hours in advance with no reason expect that their PA won't be in office....... Beyond unprofessional and no apology at all. I tried to call them to reschedule but after being on hold for 30+ minutes, I was hung up on and nobody called me back. The service is awful and I am switching to another dermatologist right now. read more

I was started on stelara. After your first shot you are supposed to get another shot one month later. I was given an appointment for three months later. I asked them several times about this until the scheduling person finally gave me a card for a three month appointment. I went thinking I was going to get shot 2 and was told I needed to put on a gown for my exam. After some discussion the np looked up my shot and said you are due for shot two. I've suffered from acne for a long time and I've tried so many dermatologists. When I found this office I figured I'd give it a try. They were flexible when scheduling my appointment and even squeezed me in before work. I didn't wait too long in the waiting room and they were even kind enough to send me home with some prescription coupons to help offset some of the costs. I visited the dermatology office (Associated Dermatology) to have a wart removed and the visit was amazing from beginning to end. The facility is well kept and clean and the staff went above and beyond to adhere to federal guidelines of COVID-19. I am beyond pleased on how everything was handled. What horrible customer service!! My husband showed up this am for an appointment and 2 minutes before the scheduled appointment they told us they didn't accept our insurance. They are wrong. Had they done their due diligence and investigated on the state online insurance verifying system, they would have seen that they were completely wrong. Had they tried to verify insurance yesterday, my husband's morning would not have been wasted. Danielle who spoke to me on the phone was rude, snarky and refused to listen. So for i am ok with the Doctor i am seeing and have an appointment to go back and will update this review after. Also, when i called to set up my first appointment they didn't know if they took my insurance and told me i have to call my insurance company to see if they did. Got microneedling treatments done for my face. Was told that I only needed four treatments as my scarring was not "that bad." Was also told that I would start seeing results within the first few months of my first treatment. Just finished my final treatment today (three and a half months later) and have not seen any results. Had to tell the tech to take pictures today as she was not going to. Was told by the tech that laser treatment would have been a better option when my first tech said that microneedling would be perfect for my type of scarring (also the tech that had been doing my treatments decided not to show up for my last treatment-wonder why). Was also told that as I was not happy with the results they would go deeper today when previous times they said going deeper was not any better and could harm my skin.
