The buggest regret to go to this gas station when I ran out of gas and trying to use my Shell Gas rewards. Popped tinto the first day, gas pump frozen, go to another pump. Next gas pump, tried to stick my credit card into the reader. something was jammed into the card reader. Out of order. go to the next gas pump, insert my card, "reading...EMV down...see cashier" FML. how hard is it to maintain these gas pumps. Whats worst, no NFC carder or tap to pay function on these card. Hey, we live in 2025, not 2008. How hard is it to upgrade your pumps. Had to go inside the station to pay. Realized I am not the only one having to pay the cashier to pump gas. Waiting in line, realized they don't have any of the burritos they advertised in the hot case.What a piss poor gas filling experience. Avoid at all costs. read more

This is a nice Shell gas station. It is located in a high traffic area off South Novato Blvd and Rowland Blvd. I don't usually get gas here because of the higher prices. I stop by The Loop when I need to grab something. It has been remodeled and they do a great job keeping it clean. They have a big selection of drinks and snacks. I like how visible everything is in the fridge section. The staff is always nice and helpful. read more

This is probably the most hectic of the gas stations in Novato. Come here during a crazy time, do yourself a favor and just keep driving on Novato Boulevard to the Chevron a few blocks up. Otherwise, you're in for a standstill waiting for a spot to open and impatient drivers who maneuver about like they're leaving church (haphazardly as it is otherwise known as). I've come here once during this kind of mad rush and almost had my car swiped. It was much easier when they didn't have single land pumps, but with the remodel for The Loop market and car wash, it's now a nightmare. When it isn't crowded, it's not that bad of a place. One can get in and out in a few minutes. Just always be aware of the random senseless driver or pedestrian that counts on you being more aware than him or her. Like today, a work truck sped around the pumps and backed up at an awkward angle beside me when it could have just pulled in. This place is usually kept clean and well-stocked, which is why it got a three stars. read more

Don't think I've reviewed a lot of gas stations before... but this place saved my butt. It is race weekend and the traffic is crazy. I was planning on going to Petaluma to get my propane for my RV. Traffic was so bad it would take me 45 minutes to get to Petaluma. I stopped at this place and not only did I get gasoline I got propane, I got frozen yogurt and I got some friendly service from some nice ladies. this is my first time ever seeing a salad bar inside of a gas station. Worst gas station in the area. Malfunctioning pumps, not working drive through car wash.

The only reason I'm giving this a 3 stars is because it's right off of the freeway. I also like their car wash. This is the 2nd time I've had someone charge me for an extra item that I did not purchase. Idk if it's an honest mistake, or the employee wants that particular item and charges people for it. Because if it was paid for (inventory wise) then they tachnically consider it not stealing from the company. This is stealing from the customer though Just make sure you check your receipts before you leave the station. I know a lot of people are in a rush but to be charged close to $5.00 extra for something that you didn't purchase so an employee can rip the customer off and make tyem.pay for their food/chips/drinks is shady and scandalous. BEWARE! I haven't used my debit card for awhile and just used it yesterday(10/21/18) to purchase gas at one of their pumps. Now I'm seeing fraudulent charges on my account and only assume that there is a possible skimmer inside one of their pumps. nice remodel of the loop, yea...looking forward to c store food items besides hot dogs and nachos. but yea you guys forgot to upgrade your vacuum and air. the vacuum was old and out of order. the air old as well and took my $1.75 with air spraying out constantly without a digital gauge or the manual gauge which was stuck. wasted my time and pissed me off. went to the safeway on nave. digital gauge, set at 34psi, done. two dedicated parking spaces for air and water too. read more

Poorly trained attendants. I purchased an item and was overcharged. I pointed this out (the sign showed one price and the receipt showed a higher one.) The attendant told me "sorry, but that is the price." This happens to be highly ILLEGAL. I will be filing a complaint with the Marin County Department of Weights & Measures. read more

Their new car wash is set on "rip pieces of your car" strength, as evidenced by the debris on the car wash floor, and the parts ripped off the roof of my newish car. They have a sign that says "any damage is not their fault," though now that they were official notified of the problem through AAA on 07/24/15, and if they do nothing to fix it, they can now be considered negligent if it happens to you - (the sign does not protect them from their own negligence). read more

I should NOT have to give this place ANY stars, but that's not an option! Yesterday I came in to this loop for a cup of coffee and a sweet roll. I filled a medium espresso bold and tried to put a lid on it. First one didn't work (one size fits all?) Then I tried putting on the cardboard wrapper because the cup was so hot. The glue on the wrapper wouldn't pull apart, so again...tried another one. I'm an avid on the go coffee kinda gal and these were the cheapest cups and 'holders' I've EVER come across! Anyway....paid and went out to the car. As I tried to put the coffee in the cup holder, the lid popped off and started burning my hand! I fumbled with the cup trying not to spill the whole thing and it spilled on my right leg and all over the car because I couldn't hold onto it! I immediately jumped out of the car and tried to pull my pants away from my leg because it felt like they were burning.....! But I couldn't pull them away! I went back into the store and told the guy "Hey, your coffee lid just popped off and spilled and burned my leg"! I guess I was hoping he'd say "sorry" or can I get you some ice or? This A-hole had the audacity to say..."it's your own fault....it's self serve"! I honestly felt like it he'd said that before a time or two. I got mad. So I went to refill my empty cup. I told him I was going to and he said "you're going to pay for a refill because it was your fault"! (I'm sorry to everyone that was in line for my foul language)but I told him "The fuck I am"!!! "Your effing coffee just burned me!"! (But I didn't say "effing") I walked out but couldn't sit on the seat because it was still so hot! Luckily, I had puppy pads in the back seat to put down to be able to sit. I drove the mile or so home. Sure enough, my leg was burned and blistered! I thought I should go to the Emergency Room, but wondered what they do for burns....so I looked it up. It was, indeed a first and second degree burn and ice was the only solution! I iced it all day and actually cried! And for the record......I do not cry! It hurt so bad! I couldn't sit down! I took pictures right away to text to my husband. It was about 4 inches by 5 or 6 inches in a splatter on my upper thigh! Very large and very painful! My husband got home and went back up to the Loop at about 4:30. The MOD said Exactly what the idiot earlier said....."Its self service". As in....it was her own fault. Luckily, my husband's a badass biker and told the MOD that he would be back to talk to 'Caesar' (earlier aforementioned idiot). I feel sorry for Caesar when he does. Actually....no I don't. Today, the blisters have popped but there's still a huge red/bluish splatter on my leg! I will let his go if I don't scar. Or will I? read more

My family and i have been going to this gas station for years. But as of 1 am on 6/25/13 that will now change. I came in to get some air in my tires and as a long term customer, I stopped my car at the door and rolle down my window to ask the attendant to turn on the air compressor. But what I found were all the doors open to the store and NO attendant to be found. Anyone could have just walked in and took whatever they wanted. I kept looking around for someone for about a full minute to two minutes. Then when I turned my head once again to the right I see this little asian man about 50 years old, staring me down with his hands on his hips as if to say " why are you looking at me for?" So I start to wave him over so I can let him know what I need as a customer of this station. Instead he just stands there with a scowl on his face, as I keep waving him over. I finally had to roll down my window to now explain why I'm looking for a person who should be watching the store. I explain to him, All the doors are open and no one to be found. Why did you just stand there staring at me?. His reply was: fuck you. I work here 4 years. I do what I want. I then said, I don't think the owner of this shop is going to like hearing about this. All you had to do was come over and say "Hi, can I help you with something". Instead you swear at me? He again says, You go to hell, asshole. I do what I want. fuck you. So as I drive off, I return one more time and add "...and when I now tell your boss that you left the store unattended and you then swear at me, I don't think any employer is going to put up with that. You should loose your job for this you know. And again he says: fuck you, go to hell. I do what I want. As a business person myself in retail, I would fire this guy on the spot if I were his manager or owner of this store. Who knows what else he's been up to late at night all by himself at this station. He leaves the store unattended, then gives me a bad time when I only came in to use my neighborhood station. My family and I will never again use their services (which amounts to about $800 in gas, food, drinks and car washes every month) between 4 car visits per week. UNTIL this guy is gone! I come by all the time day and late night and I will be checking to see if and when this guy is gone. Only then will we all return. I will be contacting Danville Petroleum, the owners of this station, about this incident. addendum: I called the station and got this guy on the phone. He says his name is Dan. I didn't let him know it was me, the guy he swore at the whole time I was there. I just hung up after getting his name. read more

Try not to come here when it's busy. The pump area easily becomes a traffic jam; meanwhile inside, one person on register and two stocking all their goodies. occasionally glancing up at the 7 people in line. And pray the people in line don't get in the way of anything that needs to be stocked! read more
