My experience though was great…read more I think you get a feel for the place when you only make a small purchase but they treat you like you bought the most expensive item in the store. I had bought an OEM video card but after opening the box and installing I notice the power cord wasn't correct. I was panicking because the big box store could't help me. I called around to different stores to see if they'd sell me the cord. Only Jason took time to talk with me. He said "Yes we could sell you the cord but it's better to bring in the computer so you get the right one" Well I did bring in my PC first thing on Saturday. Jason wasn't in but Simon said he'd take care of me. It turned out the first cord he brought out that he thought would work wouldn't when he opened up the case. So he got a second one which did. He only wanted $10 for it. I gave him the money and started to pick up the PC and he said, "Don't leave yet, let me bench check to make sure it worked. I don't want you to get home and it doesn't work". So he took the time to take it to the back bench to make sure it booted up correct. He also very politely told me that I had not used the on/off switch on the PSU so that when I got home I needed to turn it back on after plugging in the power cord. So only a $10 sale but I was treated like a huge business customer. Very glad I found this place and will recommend it to others if they are looking to buy a PC since they also had a few custom builds there for reasonable prices.

Problems can happen with any company, what matters is how they're handled. MetaPC earned my respect by standing behind their product and their customer. Mr. Wentz has been super helpful at at answering our technical questions, proofreading our contracts for substantive informalities. What I most enjoyed about Mr. Wentz is that he is a team player who is good at getting the ball across the finish line.

I received a quote from them to duplicate a dvd of mine. I found a cheaper price with another company, and offered to provide them with a copy of the quote to see if they would match it. Their response back to me in its entirety was, "That sounds like a great price. Best of luck." Now admittedly, the quote I received from their competitor was a smoking hot deal, and I really wasn't expecting them to match it. But how about at least making a counter offer, and promising great customer service along with it, OR SOMETHING??!! But just to cut my potential business off so abruptly I found incredibly insulting. So much for for truth in advertising.

Long story short, the company ended up buying two keyboards that wouldn't work for my laptop. And then after they told me they couldn't do the job, I found an hour later that my USB chip for my mouse was gone. I'll give them credit, they drove 20 minutes to drop off the chip and were apologetic throughout the process. However, this does not take away from the fact that I felt that my experience was quite the headache and I had the increasing perception that the company lacked competence. Again, maybe I just had an unlucky experience, but personally I would not recommend this shop.
