Dr Lainey was very friendly of course and said she would give me a great discount on hearing aids. Later I found out she upped the price on paper to make it look like I got a deal. She took only 15 minutes & charged an absolutely ridiculous amount to have her computer program them. After doing research, I found out she charged me way more than what other audiologists charge in town for the exact same aids & service. I have never felt so taken advantage of before. Every little extra thing she does comes with overpriced additional fees. No breaks whatsoever. I feel like I have been had by a con artist. The service she has provided has been subpar. I have left msgs & received no response. I found out she locked my aids. Because of that only she can continue to program them as needed. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with her until I need new aids someday. I deeply regret ever going to see Dr Catherine Lainey in the Franklin, TN. Fair warning. By the way, the receptionist is 5 stars.

I realized when I got home that I needed to lubricate the hinges on my doors immediately! I was able to hear crickets, birds, and the turn signal in a car again. Conversations are better as well. I decided to buy hearing aids with the blue tooth attachment as well. I am really glad I did, this helps my phone conversations tremendously. Pretty cool I can listen to music as well at work without anyone knowing. I am very pleased with the service as well. A surgeon consulted with me and advised me to leave that provider. I then got many recommendations for Dr. Patel. Those recommendations were "spot on". Dr. Patel is great. Dr. Patel is wonderful. He is amiable and understands where you are coming from. He believes you. He does assertively tell you what your treatment plan is. He will take all factors into consideration. One of the best things I like is that he is a part of an overall consortium. It is "one stop medical shopping".
