As this hospital is a leading medical facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico, according to your various advertisements, the type of service I expected from a reputed medical set up like yours was not acceptable. The staff at Hospital Auxilio Mutuo for the most part provided good care. The nurses stressed that each patient was a priority, which under normal circumstances would be true. No patient can be a priority when nurses have twelve to sixteen patients a shift. Your nurses' ability to truly provide caring nursing is an impossible feat when they are overburdened with more patients and their paperwork. Since I am a visitor to this beautiful island I made inquiries about the care given at your hospital only to find out that my experience was the norm and not the exception. I was told on several occasions that this is the way by all appearances your good catholic institution treats people seeking relief from complex ailments.
