From the very beginning, Lauren made me feel safe, supported, and completely cared for. She has such a calming presence, and she gave me the confidence I didn't even know I had. Lauren was with us every step of the way--starting months before I delivered--helping us prepare for labor and delivery with thoughtful education, helpful advice, and so much reassurance. When it came time for labor, she advocated for me in ways I will forever be grateful for. Her expertise not only helped move my labor along more efficiently, but she also helped me manage the discomfort in ways that made such a difference. Both my husband and I felt so thankful she was by our side. Having our first baby felt a lot less overwhelming because Lauren was there guiding and supporting us through it all. She even came to visit after our son was born, which meant so much to us. I genuinely cannot imagine having another baby without her. If you're considering hiring Lauren--do it. I cannot recommend her more highly. She is an incredible doula and an even more incredible person.

She patiently guided me through proper latch and feeding techniques, and her depth of knowledge was incredibly reassuring. I'm so grateful for her help and highly recommend her to any new mom looking for compassionate and knowledgeable lactation support.

I was looking for an in person consultation to help me with breastfeeding my baby who was born…read moreduring August 2020. Everywhere I went, LCs were only doing virtual consultations. I didn't think virtual only was going to help me build my milk supply and I kept asking for referrals until someone sent me to Shari. In the hospital, the lactation consultant told me that she didn't think I was ever going to be able to have enough supply for my baby. Sure enough, I was struggling so much with my milk supply that my baby lost too much weight in her first few days. I was told by my pediatrician to do triple feeding (breastfeed, then give a bottle, and then pump). I was only able to provide about 20% of my baby's food needs. Shari visited me promptly after I reached out. She came to my home (everyone wore masks) with her baby scale in tow. We figured out how much my baby weighed, how much milk she took in from a feed, and Shari observed the feeding and offered tips on positioning - both for breastfeeding as well as for the supplemental bottles. Within 4 weeks (3 total visits) with Shari, I was able to provide 100% of my baby's milk. Now I even have a frozen storage of excess milk! I am so grateful to Shari for her help and expertise. Without her, I honestly don't think I would have been able to breastfeed.

I…read morereally enjoyed getting together with Jessyca over tea at the local coffee shop and discussion my upcoming birth. Having never gone through childbirth, I was somewhat anxious and unsure what to expect. Jessyca always spoke words of encouragement and strength. Her perspective on birth is so beautiful and well researched. She has a very calm, collected personality and I knew that I would be very comforted by her presence while going through labor. When the day came, my water broke first and I immediately gave Jess a call, "This is the call!" I said. She got to my home quickly and I felt instant relief as she walked in the door. She helped me through various positions to help the pain and knew just the right touch and breathing techniques as the contractions came on stronger and stronger. When the pain became almost unbearable as we waited to enter the birth center, Jessyca reminded me of all my convictions about childbirth and what I had originally planned for and wanted. She coached me step by step as I naturally delivered our first son. Jessyca thought about things that I didn't even think about that were so helpful! Like a cold cloth to my forehead while doing the hard work of pushing and still supporting me after the delivery. I would recommend Jessyca to anyone who is looking for a great supportive birth team! Even with my husband along side me the whole way, both of us are so glad Jessyca was there too. She has a nurturing demeanor, great knowledge and is overall someone that will help you to have the birth that you desire!

This is by far the most money I have EVER paid for this service thinking I was going to get something unique and holistic. Unfortunately, not only was it hard to maintain consistent and regular communication, but the training advice was such a one-sized fit all plan. It's like Rachelle has a program that she plugged in information and then you are told to never deviate. There is no skill building, just a quick cessation of all night feeds while you are told to soothe. I tried a few times to get my money back, and they asked if I would try again. I said yes and that was a pretty big mistake on my part. Over Thanksgiving break, I just did it without her help, and after I emailed saying I had done it on my own, she just about took all the credit and hasn't checked up or tried to see if I would like anymore of that $1500 service I paid for. I tried being kind and polite, and that was mistake. Please go elsewhere, the help here is very minimal but very expensive.

I'm very disappointed to have to leave this review here but here it goes. I hired Rachelle to help…read morewith my five month old's sleep in August. I paid over $800 for her "sleep consulting" package in addition to paying for ten nights of sleep trainers over a four month period ($4,500). My baby is now ten months old and still not sleeping well. This is my third baby and I've worked with other sleep consultants. Rachelle's "method" consists on eliminating night feeds. It does not teach your baby any skills for sleeping independently. Not all babies wake due to hunger. My baby (and so many babies) struggles to connect sleep cycles. Her plan gave me no tools to help with this. When I reached out to her for help, I would often receive extremely delayed responses (often days later) and when I did get responses, they were difficult to understand, and I would have to text back many times to clarify what I was supposed to be doing. If I was having an issue, I was often made to feel like I was doing something wrong, and I did not feel supported in this process. For example, her plan says that the baby needs to nap in his crib once a day. But my baby would cry anytime I put him in the crib for the nap. When I asked her how to accomplish this, she just repeated that he needed a nap in the crib. Other sleep trainers will be much more responsive, troubleshoot when things are going wrong, and shift the plan to adapt to your baby instead of constantly just repeating the plan that isn't working. As a client, I felt like we were an afterthought and not a priority. Unless we were scheduling night help which she helped with promptly (this was probably because we paid a ton of money when we used the night help). I reached out to Rachelle over a week ago to explain my concerns and have had zero response back. We had a few stops and starts due to illness, which is a normal thing to occur and each time we were starting from scratch because we hadn't actually given our baby any skills to put himself to sleep. After spending thousands of dollars with her, a response feels pretty necessary. I will say she did a good job of placing sleep trainers when we needed them. But having sleep trainers didn't really help us because as soon as we needed to take over our baby behaved completely differently (because, of course he does). Additionally, it didn't seem like she communicated what the sleep training plan was with the sleep trainers because every night they arrived, they asked me what they were supposed to be doing. There are definitely other sleep trainers in the area that will provide more support, respond in a timely manner, ad actually help your baby learn how to sleep not just how to not eat at night. I'm honestly in shock that we spent this much money and I am still sleep deprived. I would definitely not recommend using Rachelle.

From our first interaction I knew she would be the one by my side during such a special time in my life. Stacey is not only experienced and wise in her practice, but her caring personality shines through every part of her work. She was available to answer any of my questions leading up to the birth, she anticipated every one of my needs during labor, and she made sure me and my son were off to a great start at our post natal apt. I would highly recommend Stacey to any woman wanting an exception experience during their birth. I know I will be calling her for any future kiddos I have!

From the minute my husband and I met her we instantly felt comfortable in her presence and we both naturally gravitated towards her, she seemed like someone we would have been friends with for years. Looking back on the entire experience, I know I would not have been able to do it without her. I ended up having a natural birth and Stacey was there to help me through it all. There were several times that I did not believe in myself or think I could do it and Stacey knew exactly what to say and knew exactly what to do to help make me feel mentally strong and physically better. I have told all my friends about Stacey and strongly encourage them to use her when they decide to have a baby. I know for sure my husband and I will be calling on Stacey when we go to have baby number two. Stacey is incredibly knowledgable and so easy to relate to and get along with, I was able to be completely myself with her and was able to talk with her like I'd known her for years. I was so happy to have her by my side when the nurses asked me questions or advised me on things that I wasn't sure about. Knowing Stacey's resume, background and years of experience I knew I could trust in her advise and opinion. I knew she was looking out for what was best for me and that ultimately it was my decision but she was there to help me understand all my options. All in all, my husband and I would have paid five times as much to have Stacey there, she truly was so amazing. Thank you Stacey!
