After describing what we needed, Rachelle sent Kyanne who put me to bed, calmed me down and took charge (exactly what I needed). I don't know how a new mom could ever manage those first days at home without her. She talked me through all my questions and was warm and loving with our family which gave me a sense of security in a time with so many unknowns. I highly recommend not only using a night nanny, but get the best--Kyanne!

This is by far the most money I have EVER paid for this service thinking I was going to get something unique and holistic. Unfortunately, not only was it hard to maintain consistent and regular communication, but the training advice was such a one-sized fit all plan. It's like Rachelle has a program that she plugged in information and then you are told to never deviate. There is no skill building, just a quick cessation of all night feeds while you are told to soothe. I tried a few times to get my money back, and they asked if I would try again. I said yes and that was a pretty big mistake on my part. Over Thanksgiving break, I just did it without her help, and after I emailed saying I had done it on my own, she just about took all the credit and hasn't checked up or tried to see if I would like anymore of that $1500 service I paid for. I tried being kind and polite, and that was mistake. Please go elsewhere, the help here is very minimal but very expensive.

Laura took the time to come into our home and explain everything in detail, helping us feel informed and comfortable. She was right by my side during the birth of our son, and continued to be a steady source of guidance during the roller coaster of postpartum. I've been taking my almost 2 year old son to Toddler and Momma yoga on Friday mornings for almost 6 months and we love it! I my past before baby life I went to yoga classes several times a week, but now that I have a little guy and limited childcare, I've had to content myself to my daily quick morning practice. Although it's not the same as an adult class, it's a great opportunity to introduce a little one to yoga, and as mine says, "see babies and mommies" (and sometimes daddies too). I always appreciate how Miss Casey, the instructor, sets a casual, fun mood for the class with fun songs and movement for the kids. My son likes it too, and lately has been peppering our days with his favorite snippets from class, and ever time we drive by The Mama'hood, he points and says his name, followed by mommy go yoga. Which, when you're not quite 2, is a 5 star review for sure.

Now I'm going on eight months of nursing, my baby thanks to Amanda's help. Amanda helped me with a newborn and continue to help me with our baby. I'm not even sure how Mamahood doesn't have five stars. I went through lactation support groups and classes and had a different lactation consultant before finding Mamahood and struggled so hard. I wish I would've started with Mamahood to begin with. I see a lot of other reviews that are upset because their baby got diagnosed with tongue ties from Mamahood and their pediatrician or another doctor didn't catch the tongue tie, but I'm here to say that Mamahood caught my babies ties EVEN though OUR PEDIATRICIAN didn't think my baby had them. Well, after we saw a pediatric dentist and got my baby's ties cut - everything was so much better. My milk supply went up and my baby was able to eat better even out of a bottle. Getting my babies ties cut was a really hard decision in the moment but one of the best decisions we've done for her and I am so thankful for Mamahood for leading me in the right direction.

Our birth experience with Merrie as our doula was incredible and I absolutely would not have been…read moreable to have the empowering birth I had without her support and guidance. She is an expert. She came over after I had gone into labor and helped us stay home as long as possible before transitioning to the hospital, where she further assisted me in laboring for several more hours without pain meds before it became obvious that things had become stalled and I needed an epidural. After that point she easily guided the transition to later stages and made suggestions to the care team that almost certainly helped me avoid a c-section. After going through this I can see how easy it would be to have a really scary and traumatic birth experience, but with Merrie by my side it was super empowering and positive. I am so grateful for her expert advice and calm, grounded presence.

We had to constantly put speech therapy on hold because speech therapist kept quitting. Then eventually just texted me that they had no one for the rest of 2021! I've asked my my daughters progress reports and they will not return my calls. I do definitely recommend OT and speech for children I just wouldn't go here. This business is kind of a mess!! Also we got charged for weeks after stoping therapy! He was kicked out of the home daycare he was in since he was a baby, kicked out of an expensive daycare/preschool thereafter, and shortly after starting kindergarten he was racking up suspensions. We felt as if everybody was against us and just wanted to give up on him. The school offered no support and told us to go the medical route. His doctor was quick to offer up medication and the child psychologist he referred us to just tried to push us into parenting classes. We knew that something else was happening with our boy, we were good parents and our son was a smart and compassionate boy. Finally, we got a referral from our doctor to Amaryllis Therapy Network where our first visit with Mindy Wolfe changed our entire outlook on our sons behavior. After just one session with him and documentation/videos from us, Mindy was able to pinpoint some sensory issues that he was experiencing. The way she explained what was happening and why he was reacting the way he had been made perfect sense, the puzzle pieces were coming together. The next 9 months we visited Mindy once a week. Not only was my son learning how to better control his behaviors, but I was learning how to help him satisfy his sensory needs through specialized exercises. The staff worked great together and were excellent at bringing the kids together in real social situations, which I believe helped my boy tremendously. I am pleased to report that the second half of the school year was a complete turn around for our son who is now getting ready to enter into first grade. We found that it is a lot of work and will continue to be a struggle here and there, but now we have the tools to better help our boy succeed in school and become a wonderful little man. We owe Mindy Wolfe and the entire friendly staff at Amaryllis Therapy Network more than we could ever pay back.

This review is a year overdue. I thought I had written a review prior. Oops…read more We saw Ms. Cindy for a few months in the fall of 2023. We were referred to Amaryllis for OT for our 1 month old son. (He's now 1.5 years old.) Our lactation consultant didn't suspect a tongue tie but she had suggested Amaryllis for some OT since he wasn't latching correctly. When we first saw Ms. Cindy, it would take our son 30-40 minutes to finish his bottle. And by the time he was finished, he was still hungry. We discovered his bottle time should be between 15-20 minutes and he was using extra energy which is why he would still be hungry. We saw Ms. Cindy for about 10 sessions? Maybe 8? It was about 8-10 weeks for about 30 minutes each time. And our son was so much better. He wasn't using his tongue correctly in utero and we worked on some exercises to help him. We saved some sessions for when he started solids but honestly, we didn't end up needing them. He became such a good eater. And I think it is because of the work we did with him in the first few months of his life. We definitely appreciate all the work that Ms. Cindy did and all the extra work we had to do at home as well.
