If happiness came with chopsticks, this might be what it looked like. We wandered into this little…read moreKorean spot and before we could even ask for the menu, the table started filling up with little bowls of kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled vegetables, and enough side dishes to make you wonder if you'd accidentally ordered for twelve. The dumplings came out first--golden brown, crispy on one side, tender on the other, and disappearing faster than a politician's campaign promise. Then came a bibimbap still sizzling in its stone bowl, daring you to stir that runny egg into a mountain of fresh vegetables and rice. Finally, there was a kimchi pancake the size of a hubcap, crispy around the edges, soft in the middle, and just spicy enough to remind you it wasn't playing around. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made by someone who cared more about feeding people than impressing Instagram. The service was quick, friendly, and never let our drinks run dry. About the only disappointment was realizing we'd eventually have to stop eating. If you're looking for fancy white tablecloths, keep driving. If you're looking for authentic Korean food that'll have you planning your next visit before you've paid the check, you've found your place. Life's too short for bad dumplings--and thankfully, these weren't

Pork bul go gi was awesome. My friend loved her kim chi ji gae but said the side of kimchi on the table could've been spicier. We love this place! We will continue to come back!

This review is for HaPina - Located inside Kosher Charlotte @ the Charlotte Chabad. Wake Up…read moreCharlotte - You have no food scene! This - in fact, may actually be the best meal I've ever had in the Queen City. HaPina Eater is located inside Chabad of Charlotte - It's a Glatt Kosher establishment with an incredible selection of delicious items. Wednesday - 4 February 2026 was my first visit. Yes - I was skeptical. Once I heard "Joe" formerly of Yafo joined the team to bring amazing Kosher Food to Charlotte, I just had to give it a try. Of course, I couldn't help myself - I had to overindulge and order the Pastrami Burger and the Schnitzel. Finally found a place in the CLT that does French Fries correctly. The Israeli Salad was amazing. I'm truly not joking - this place was incredible. I can't wait to return next week to try some of the steak options. Want to try the amazing Pastrami Sandwich as well; Yes - they use proper Deli mustard; not that nasty yellow mustard. Chef "Joe" really blends a combination of Israeli with some of your Ashkenazi favorites. You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy this food! A+ - Plenty of Parking in the Chabad Parking Lot; - Service was excellent! Couldn't leave without trying their delicious dessert menu as well. Can't wait to come back! B"H! - Seating was comfortable! Very quiet and relaxing vibe inside!
