I was hesitant, but decided to give it a try. Though it wasn't mind blowing, it was really satisfying. The best thing we had was the Pad Thai, it is a must. The General Tao, was crispy, the shrimp (whichever you get) are a good size and cooked correctly. The Shanghai noodles were good as well. The disappointment was the Hunan Peanut Butter Dumplings. The sauce was bland and to thick, the meat had some grizzle. Dumplings are my addiction and these were a pass. As well as sesame beef, the sauce was really nice but the meat had a grainy texture I wasn't fond of. All in all though it was a nice dinner with the husband and would order the pad Thai from this place as a main. Our waitress was very nice but we could see she was flustered considering she was the only waitress there, she held it together really well.

We wanted to try a bit of everything, so we got the green curry and pad Thai. The curry was labeled "mild," but wow it was spicy, so just a heads-up! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. There wasn't a single dish we didn't enjoy. We also had the mango sticky rice the portion was generous and it was just perfect. The staff are so kind and attentive. While the place seems really popular for takeout, the dine-in area is cute and the workers make it feel really welcoming. My only small downside was that the free water had a bit of a strange taste, but it didn't affect the overall experience at all.

It's understandable that a business needs to make money, but the for the amount of food we would order, it just didn't make sense to pay $10 or more for the same dishes that were $6-7 before. It wasn't only that the prices had gone up, but that the quality of the food had started to decline, and then the portion sizes started to shrink. It just doesn't feel worthwhile to go there anymore. This was only a personal opinion, the food was still alright, I guess I was just spoiled at how good this place used to be. So for those interested, it is worth giving it a try. They have a BYOB policy, plus the SAQ is across the street, and the staff has always been friendly. So no complaints there.

Chicken & peanut, beef & broccoli, all very good. Tom Yum soup had a big shrimp, calamari, muscle, all kinds of seafood. Hot & Sour was also above par. I will definitely be going back, this is now at the top of my Chinese take-out list.

The last time I visited, I ordered the chicken pad thai table d'hote, which came with 2 appetizers before the main! I always get 1/2 the main to go since the appetizers are delicious and worth filling up on. With this menu, you get a mango salad and a spring vegetable roll. This is followed by a tom yum soup (on the spicy side), and 3 fried appetizers. Yummy everything tastes amazing!! The restaurant is very pretty with a chill ambiance. Perfect for date night or a quiet conversation. The waitress was a little slow and made weird comments which wasn't great hence I docked off 1 star. I would return!

Second important tip: everything is at least a bit spicy (if not very spicy), don't believe if they say it's mild. Their strength is on their main dishes only, which were VERY good. We went in a group of 6 people, every single dish ordered were complimented. Big portions and amazing food! They have different options for protein, including duck, that was very well prepared too! Very good! Unfortunately, the service is terrible. Servers making bad faces for nothing, some of them have no patience to explain things on the menu for you, they leave the dishes on the table without saying a word and everybody was confuse on which dish and for who it was. They serve things crossing their arms in front of your face while you eat. Service is very bad! The environment is nice, big place and very beautiful decoration! The washroom doesn't follow the pattern tho. I would say that I recommend for the food, but don't expect an experience or a good service.
