Pad See Ew (Filet Mingnon) Gluten Free

Excellent service and decor in an upscale Thai restaurant with exceptional food. Came here as the reviews commented on how easy they accommodate gluten allergies. The Pas See Ew here is made with Filet. To die for.

Absolutely loved going to Siam! My friends and I headed over for a late lunch, and the service was great! Waiters were friendly, patient and gave great recommendations. The food was excellent and presentation was great too! Truly no complaints. The portions are large enough to keep you full & satisfied (even when sharing!) I loved that there are vegetarian and vegan options, giving customers with dietary restrictions the ability to still choose a meal they like, with the necessary adjustments available. The ambiance of the restaurant is calm and warm. There is low-lighting, spacious seating and a variety of seating options (high table, bar seating, booths, etc). There are even two levels to Siam, perfect for the flood of dinner reservations and walk-ins! I would definitely recommend checking out Siam!!

The food looks delicious but it is underwhelming. The duck wonton actually made us sick. Stay away. Not sure what the problem was...the duck tasted strange. The pad thai was decent. Sadly, the service is painfully slow. It took nearly an hour to get our dishes, so we didn't end up eating until past 9pm. There's too much competition in Montréal for subpar Asian.

Lovely restaurant with a nice & cozy ambiance & cute outside bar & table seating. Menu options are great with a big selection including vegan & gluten free optiService was very slow on a non busy work day but we weren't in a rush so it didn't bother us. Food was fresh & delicious. Great spot!

I was missing Thai food so much so I was yelping a place to go during my vacation. I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken and the Pad Kee Mao with Filet Mignon. My favorite was the pad kee mao. I don't usually order pad kee mao but this one was so good. There was a kick of spice which I really needed. The flavors were incredible and I loved the sauce with noodles. The pad thai chicken was pretty good too. The restaurant is very spacious. There is a first and second floor to the restaurant. This restaurant seems to be very busy because I came on a Wednesday for lunch and it was pretty packed with people. I would highly recommend if you guys are ever looking for Thai food in Montreal.

The ambiance is awesome and the food presentation is so beautiful. My vegan curry was amazing. What a blessing to find such a lovely place to eat while visiting Montreal. Thank you.

So pleased to have returned to Montreal and come back to some great Thai food. Still as I remembered it and Siam was busy and certainly well know as the place was bumping when I arrived. The Padang curry was excellent and the service was great. Also the spring roll was a great appetizer. Still great or even better than when I was here 3 yrs ago. Will come back when I am in town next.

After checking into a hotel near by we decided to try this place for lunch and overall it was a gem! The decor was upscale and nice cute ambiance inside. They do have outdoor seating available too. The service was amazing and the waitress was able to help us with our tourist related questions. She even understood concept of having one bill and splitting it in half vs two bills. You must try the lychee sangria if you go as it is so good! It can be a tad sweeter but not overly sweet! They have an extensive cocktail list to choose from. For food we ordered pad thai with chicken and red curry with chicken. So the pad thai is not my go to order for thai as I prefer drunken noodle however there was limitation on ordering drunken noodle with chicken and it wasn't recommended to order it vegetarian. Overall the pad thai was good and it wasn't overly sweet as it can be at other spots! The red curry wasn't spicy as it normally is however it was pact with flavor abd quite delicious. I enjoyed this random find nearby and would go back when in MTL next!

What a delicious and fresh tasting Thai restaurant. Our drinks and meals were delicious. I'd recommend a reservation because even on a Tuesday night they were hopping. Lots of options for GF, vegan, etc. highly recommended!

Decided to try this place after reading the great reviews. The place has a cool vibe and lots of vegan options. Our server was great explaining the menu and overall service was very efficient and attentive. We tried the pad sew (rice noodles, sirloin and gailan) and the vegetarian yellow curry (tofu, bamboo, baby corn, tomatoes). Both were super flavourful and heavily seasoned. The noodles had a generous portion of meat (too much? could've used more noodles ). Saw other tables trying the cocktails and they definitely looked good! Appetizers also seemed popular..and would love to try them if we ever return!

Working in Montreal for the week and it's dinner time! I did my usual Yelp'ing and landed on Pamika…read moreThai! Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the street in downtown is this gem. It's got a small footprint on the outside, but inside is a different story! It's so beautiful and intimate in here. The floors and the ceilings are darker colors giving a more intimate vibe. The decor is AMAZING and transports you to an entirely different country. The vibes were very intimate, romantic and definitely a place you want to be. Service: Glenn was my bartender as I sat at the bar and he was awesome. He was funny, witty and made sure I had the best time possible. I also would like to shout out Benjamin as well. He's the director of the restaurant and also made sure I had a good time. Food/Drinks: I started off with the Le Vieux Cajou, which is Buffalo Trace whiskey infused with cashews, spicy coriander syrup then a few dashes of both Angostura and chocolate bitter. This drink sounds so out there, but it was so smooth, oaky, a bit nutty, mildly sweet, very tasty, robust, woody. I really liked it. I saw so many things on the menu that I wanted to try that I couldn't make up my mind so I opted for the tasting menu! Here's how it went! Out first was the Fried papaya salad which consists of deep-fried green papaya and carrots, fried shrimp, fresh chilies, tomatoes, long beans and peanuts. This was very tasty with that good spicy sauce on top. I loved the sweetness with the salt and the heaviness of the fried batter. Absolutely delicious. Never had anything like it before. My only complaint is that the shrimp didn't pull all the way out of their shells like I'm used to. Lol. Next up was the Khao Soi which is a dish comprised of egg noodles, chicken drumsticks, a quail egg, pickled choy, limes, coriander, red onions and khao soy sauce. This dish was a bit spicy, with flavors just all over the place in a great way. LOVED the rich curry flavor, super aromatic. Lastly was the Set Tum Thai which is That BBQ pork shoulder served with sticky rice and a papaya salad. It was SUPER flavorful pork and an amazing spicy sauce. Rice was nice and sticky to calm the flavors down. Well-balanced. Value: It's more upscale and "modern" Thai cusine so you have to pay for it. Lol. All prices are in $CAD. My first drink was $14.00. The tasting menu was $85.00. Absolutely worth it. In conclusion, I loved this place, what it represented and how everything was executed. I highly encourage you to check this place out! Thank you for reading.

The servers seemed busy but it took a while for every step of the way so I think they could use a bit more help. The other thing that was a bit unfortunant was the amount of fruit flies that were around. One or two isnt an issue but we were having to swipe away one pretty consistantly. That being said, the food itself was pretty decent overall. Ill go over the so-so stuff first. We were trying to get the vegiterian papaya salad but apparently there is fish sauce in it that cant be removed so I am not sure why they label it as vegiterian optional. (Thats a bit of a pet peeve of mine since people probably dont even ask if it is labeled as vegiterian). The phad thai was decent with strechy noodles and fried tofu which is something we look for but the peanuts were all clumpped together as if they had been stored for a while. Not nessasarily a bad thing but califlour was also one of the vegtables which is an interesting choice. On the good end, the bak egg roles were crisp and had good flavores especially when adding the sauce. They gave us the chicken one on accident at first but figured out their mistake before we had any. The drink was also very refreshing. The egg wash was smooth and sweet which complimented the tart and fruity drink. The atmosphere itself was interesting. The long marbel X shaped table that centered the room was something I hadnt seen anywhere else. It seemed a bit akward at first but the lights and bar made it work more. The lamps seemed like a nice touch that added depth and a warm lighting to the room. I always like when lights are hung together at a different hights to give that depth. Overall probably not one I would go back to.

It had a welcoming feel and a great cooking smell upon entry. I was seated promptly at a table near the front windows. The water had a metallic taste but was better with a squeeze of lime. After some debate and a few questions to my server Luig, I decided upon the vegan Pad Thai. While waiting for my meal I noticed a group being seated an explained the menu. Soon after my meal arrived well presented and served with thicker than average chopsticks which were easier to use than some. Interestingly, they eat pad thai with a fork in Thailand, so that was a bit of a faux pas in my opinion. The portion was reasonable, but not large by any stretch. The plate contained al dente broccoli and cauliflower, rectangle shaped fried tofu chunks, crushed peanuts, bean sprouts, green onions and semi-wide noodles with good chew. Notably the dish was not too spicy which seems to be what proper Pad Thai should be. Also notable was the reasonable (for these crazy times) $14 menu price for my sit down meal. Nice to see there are Thai restaurants that give options for more authenticity than the quick serve ones.

I ate there for the first time a couple of years ago, and then again last Friday evening. I am not sure why it took me so long to go again (perhaps it is simply the distance from home) as the food is quite good! The food was quickly served by a very courteous waiter in a comfortable ambiance. For only $10.50, vegetarians (like my husband and I) can choose from several great menu options; I recommend both the Tofu General Tao, as well as the Tofu Curry with Eggplant. Meat plates take most of the menu however so if you are omnivorous, you will surely find something that will please you as well! While La Belle Thaïlandaise is not the fanciest Thai restaurant in town, it is, within its price range, a great location which offers both good service and good food. We had a good time!

When I placed my order they mentioned it would take a bit because they had to get the kitchen opened up. Ordered 3 dishes plus a salad, (Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Basil, Vegtable red curry and the Vietnamese papaya salad). I would say that the best was the Chicken Pad Thai and the salad then the vegetable curry and then the Beef Basil. The Pad Thai had a great flavour of the wok and was respectfully generous with chicken. The Veg Curry nada good assortment of vegetables. A small (and little disappointing) portion of rice was given. The Beef Basil was the least because I'm use to a very fragrant version of the dish This was good, but I've had better at other Thai places. Restaurant is tastefully decorated and nice Thai music was playing in the background. They had a deal on Yelp for $5 off your meal or 15% but I asked if it could apply to my takeout order and they mentioned it was just for dine in. I would return to this place because I thought it to be decent value for the money compared to my regular Thai resto. They were friendly and apologized for the food taking so long.
