In search of nouveau Brazilian cuisine, Nou provided a great setting to fill our empty bellies. After checking out the reviews, the milanesa with risotto seemed like the dish to pick and so my friend and I shared it. The other most enviable dish at the table seemed to be the beef filet with hearty french fries. The cut of meat was succulent and tender and the friend devouring it swore about its tastiness. Before our entrees, our party of five munched on the bolinho de arroz (good but not killer) and octopus (also good).
The bar did a nice job of mixing up a proper caipirinha. The waitress asked me a series of questions regarding the customization of my cocktail, so I suppose the greatness of the drink was directly proportional to the attention to detail even before mixing it.
The neighborhood is super quaint and somewhat residential and the restaurant interior is of the classy, hip variety. Adorable servers with tattoos and cool haircuts, check. You should find street parking somewhat available, but there's always valet if you don't feel like searching. read more
