I walked in and had bad service from the Mexican girl working there. She was rude and would not even ask any questions just gave me a dirty look. I asked her for a item and she threw it on the counter and did not ask if I need anything else. read more

The museum is not much of one, if your looking for Native American artifacts museum this is a waste of time. It's more like an over priced store with a few native blankets for show My son payed $60 for a Souvenir that my daughter paid $5 in 4 corners monuments bought from the artists directly. The Ridiculousness is that they had a 50% discount on certain. they where listing it at which was $120. They had a Jacey machine made in El Salvador for $300. Maybe if it was hand made by native Americans i wold of paid that. There rent must be very high if they are marking things up 2400% read more

I usually love shopping at Notah Dine. We recently moved back to NM~ my husband still works in Cortez. I called to see if they had a matching pair of Pendleton towels I wanted to purchase as a Christmas gift for a colleague. The young lady that answered the phone had a snotty tone/attitude right from the word go. She spoke over the top of me and told me "No" when I asked her specific questions ~ which would've been ok except that after telling me No, she went to look and it turned out that they did have the items I wanted to purchase. When I asked her to put the items aside for me and that I would have my husband come by to purchase~ she told me that the items would be in the vault which I thought was overkill ~ just talked to my husband~ he picked up the items, they were located behind the counter. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of merchandise at this place over the last five years. They have great inventory at reasonable prices.. I have enjoyed stopping here whenever I pass through Cortez which is about every two months. I dropped in today. None of the employees were wearing protective masks .They had been wearing masks in June and August, but there were no masks today , and the guy I dealt with today denied that they were ever wearing them. I saw no efforts at social distancing. I'm not sure what's going on with this location, but they are jeopardizing the health of myself and my family--and their own employees. The Navajo Nation, which is immediately nearby, has been devastated by COVID-19. There is still a very real risk of this virus being transmitted, especially in an enclosed environment like this store. I'm very disappointed, and I will probably not return to this business until COVID-19 is completely eradicated. read more

This place is a treasure of Native American artifacts and should not be missed when in Cortez! Shop your way through the main floor displays of jewelry and art then go downstairs to see the beaded masterpieces and remarkable woven rugs. read more

An easy drive from Mesa Verde National Park in Cortez. Offering beautiful southwestern jewelry including both new-made signed pieces and used pieces; pottery (from new to hundred-year-old) and Navajo rugs. The shopkeepers are more than willing to explain the sourcing and relative quality of the pieces. A small museum downstairs is worth a look with artifacts, paintings and amazing Navajo rugs including one of the largest I've ever seen. read more

This is a great stop for southwestern arts, crafts & souvenirs. They have everything from beautifully handcrafted one of a kind (very expensive) pottery to affordable pieces. They have a large variety of jewelry and a huge selection of Navajo rugs. Downstairs, in their gallery, there is a unique historical display that my children really enjoyed. Definitely worth a stop on a visit through the four corners region--far better than the typical Trading Posts and roadside vendors. read more

My wife and I have purchased several pieces of Navajo jewelry from Notah Dineh, over the past year. We have found the sales representatives to be knowledgeable and patient in assisting customers. One piece of jewelry we bought developed a defective clasp. We sent the jewelry item to them for repair and the problem was corrected in a professional and timely manner, at no cost. This trading post has a customer friendly and knowledgeable staff. My husband and I were seeking the Pendleton Blanket Teddy bear that was purchased from this post by my sister in law. I so admired the craftsmanship, so she took us to this trading post. We were visiting from Fairfield, Ca. and I was so excited and looking forward to purchasing this bear, unfortunately the bears were no longer available since a previous customer purchased all 6 remaining bears and I could understand why.
