I do appreciate that there is validated, free, parking here :) as LA can be unpredictable with…read moreparking. The validation is also easy and straightforward to do. I believe there is a $5 minimum purchase but it is not really enforced. I've also gotten a berry chantilly matcha with oat milk at the coffee bar here, and it was delicious and only $5.25!! What a steal for matcha in this economy. Recently, I I came here just for the matcha again but the coffee bar was closed sadly :/ leading me to dock off one star. If you're coming in just for the amazing and affordable drinks, would recommend calling the store to confirm if their coffee bar is open!

Was craving a simple burrito and I usually do not pickup burritos from heated trays in supermarkets…read morebut didn't feel like paying 15-20 bucks and waiting 15-20 minutes anywhere else today, so made a grave mistake and bought this epic disaster. On the bright side, it easily made my top 10 most disgusting foods ever eaten in my life list. (Think 5-6th place easy.) As I unwrapped (had to fight from the heat and almost melted flour tortilla to separate from the packaging) the burrito looked like it had been put through a car wash, a soaked tortilla fused with the inside crap that was in it. Barely any eggs or cheese, nasty half-assed cooked potato pieces (of course plenty of that) and a feeling of hopelessness and self-guilt for spending 8 bucks on this garbage. Well, at least garbage was good once before it's thrown away. Stick to the blueberry muffins which are great, but this was so bad can't find words in a Thesaurus to describe the level of terribleness and inspired me to write this tragic review.

They make a great smoothie also which is one of the reasons why I keep going back but the staff has always been on point and the young man that works there clearly cares about the craft and his clients so if you're ever in the area, definitely take a chance at coming to this location

I had a really disappointing and upsetting experience here that needs to be addressed…read more I ordered a Pbowl without granola as I'm severely allergic. When I received it, it had granola and so I called this location. I was told by an employee that I could come in, have my name noted, and receive a replacement Pbowl with no issue. However, when I returned, I was met by a different employee who refused to honor that arrangement. What should have been a simple interaction quickly turned into something much worse. The employee questioned why they should help me, made a derogatory comment implying I was "broke" for requesting a replacement, and told me to "get a life." This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing environment. I literally order from qwench daily and I'm extremely upset. I'm not someone who typically leaves negative reviews, but this experience crossed a line. I hope management takes this seriously, investigates the situation, and ensures that no other customer is treated this way. At the very least, I would still like the replacement that was originally promised. 0/10 would not recommend this location.

It looks like a New York loft you see in movies. The barista was genuinely friendly and engaging. We had a little conversation while he prepared my drink (and now I'm low-key looking for a fluent Portuguese-speaking friend like him to help me continue learning and practice with hehe). I ordered the pão de queijo, a Nutella-filled empanada, and their Brasil Kiss latte with half milk and half heavy cream. I'm obsessed with pão de queijo. I usually overdo it at Brazilian steakhouses, but I restraint myself and only got one. It was delicious. The latte was really good too. I love my coffee with heavy cream, and since most places don't offer it, I liked that the barista suggested doing half heavy cream, half regular milk. Perfect balance!

A familiar story can explain how I ended up here at Brasil Kiss Coffee Bar. I was around the area,…read moreI wanted a caffeine fix, and a bite, and it was the closest place around, so I decided to enter, not knowing that an experience awaited me. As soon as I entered Brasil Kiss, I knew that it was a place that invited the customers to be more like guests. It had a series of books, knickknacks and other items to arrest the attention that also asked of visitors to sit and enjoy the space. When it was my time to do just that, I clipped several items while assessing others, and being in awe of one specific item--- there central mural wall. I did not take a picture of the whole wall- blame my lack of attention to the lack of coffee in my veins- but it showed what seemed to be two women in the verge of kissing. I did zoom in and clipped the moment where these two lipstick wearing human beings were about to lock lips and smooch with passion. The women had no visible eyes, so all the tension and hope of love's blessing were apparent in the space between their lips. One had green hair, I imagined it flowing because of beach wind, because in my mind these two were in a Yacht sailing the coastal waters of Rio de Janeiro. The mural was bold, colorful, modern and daring. It reminded the viewer that love exists in many forms and it is expressed in suit as well. The place had a lot of photos as well. Many of them depict dogs. Perhaps this place has a tradition of asking pet owners or pet parents to consent to their dog's photo being taken. Then the name of the dog is put in red in the white parts of the photo and then hanged for others to admire. What I found interesting is that the dogs had names like Pretzel, Nala, Taco, Eddie, Benny, Charlotte, Gorda, Skipper, and Wrigley. I found it interesting because a dog can be named essentially anything and that is acceptable, for dogs do not worry about what they smell like regardless of whether their name Rocky, Coveey, or Captain Cooper Dinkle (a name of a dog if you are to believe a poloroid). I also noted that they had Dr. Sleep by Stephen King, a Prided colored disco ball and chairs and places to sit for hours. So on a lazy Sunday, hours can be spent here. The selection of coffee and food items was vast and interesting. I ordered an Espresso milkshake, two of the Brazillian cheese breads and a Salmon Burger. I did not get the name of the guy, but there was this barista who was freely being himself to the point where it tested my patiene with him. I was there with a friend. He referred t my friend as kid. He is visibly young, but, still, calling someone a kid without knowing that their actually kid age can easily read as patronizing. What tested my patience to the point of break, was when he said that the kid and I "could pig out" at the spot, since we had originally order our food to go but decided that it was best to enjoy in place. The phrase flirted with a put down. I would like to think that when I sit to enjoy coffee I do so with the intention to enjoy sip and munch, as some days it is the best part of my waking hours. So I definetely do not become a swine, and maybe, I kind of resent the implication that I do when I eat. But this guy was a character so he was committed to his bit, maybe someone just needs to tell him that restrain in performance matters--- no one likes a performer that does not mold to fit their audience. The Espresso Martini was made with strawberry flavoring and it was such a good morning treat. Yum, yum, go go, central. It had the sweetness of ice cream but it was not ice cream it was shaken and stirred cream with coffee, it was not an Affalgato, more like an Affalgato hack. The cheesebread was solid. The Salmon burger, I am sorry, was also a miss. The actual salmon patty did not taste light and crispy like I imagine a Salmon patty to taste. Also, it had a spicy aoili, may sriracha, and I am over heat. So I should have also known not to get this. But as whole this place is worthy of a visit so you may sample its array of drinks, and bites, and lose yourself in ints substance. Just be prepared for some service that one might find abbrassive.
