The Usual aka "The Workout Smoothie"

The most consistently managed smoothie and juice bar in Los Angeles. You'd think this would be just a regular gym-smoothie place. But no, the care that goes into the orders, the customer service, and attention to detail. People with allergies are welcome here ! Liz has taken care of me for 2.5 years now and I couldn't image a better place to start my day. Thank you Liz - and thank goodness for delicious smoothies.

So yummy! I forgot to take a pic before eating. Almond Butter Acai Bowl.

We had the best service upon visiting Earthbar today. The employee was so kind, she was also attentive to our allergen notice! The store is right next to Equinox. Parking structure is expensive but they do have 2hrs street parking if you could find one. The almond butter acai bowls are quite expensive but sooo tasty! I would definitely recommend!!

Checked out this hidden location for lunch with husband. I picked up their ritual $2 offer chocolate protein smoothie while my husband opted for their açaí bowl. Unlike the other downtown location, this branch did not carry small size option. Their açaí bowl was ginormous (a bucket worth) and my husband struggled to make it to the half way mark. He opted for chocolate hemp milk as base and it made the açaí extra rich and creamy. The granola (even the bottom layer) stayed crunchy through husband's entire struggle. Sliced banana and strawberry were basic but essential - added the needed textual and flavor contrast. A very filling and worthy bowl - just wished they offered a smaller size option. My ritual special - chocolate protein smoothie made in chocolate almond milk - not overwhelming sweet and surprisingly refreshing. Satisfying but not enough to be an actual meal. Overall - $9 for an acai bucket with ample smoothie/shake options - my husband's new rotating lunch go to.

Love this place, delicious superfood smoothies. Beautiful view of downtown once you step out to the garden. Located on the 2nd floor inside the Equinox gym.

Everything was fresh, good portions and most importantly actually flavorful. The Seoul Bowl was the healthier option and still had plenty of flavor. The Po Boy sandwich was my fav.. not exactly "health food" but not overly heavy either. Just the right balance. I had never tried pea protein shrimp before so I was a little skeptical but it was surprisingly delicious and worked really well in the sandwich. We both like our food spicy and they were great about customizing it for us. They added jalapeños to my sandwich and gave us spicy mayo on the side which pretty much made the meal perfect for our taste. The grilled organic tempeh was the only thing I personally found a little bland but my wife really liked it so probably more of a preference thing than an issue with the dish. The Sunset Smoothie was thick, tasted great and was a very good portion. Yes, prices are definitely on the higher side but unlike some other places in the area where you pay premium prices and leave wondering why, here the portions and especially the quality made it worth it. We would definitely come back.

Second fave was the drunk cauliflower. And then the tikka masala. The Tikka was still good but maybe not exactly what I was expecting - very veggie heavy plate. They have so many more items on their menu I'd love to try. Oh and the teas come in a really cute beaker setup, and they can make to your desired sweetness. It's a cute little spot, space is clean, and they have a bathroom for customers. There's a small parking lot in the shopping center where you can park for free too, yay!

Staff was patient with us as it was our first time there so it took us a while to order. We sat outside. Once our food was ready the staff brought it out to us. I ordered the Halloween smoothie, which was great. For those of you that grew up with Orange Julius, this had a slight taste reminiscent of those mall days once upon a time ago. Also ordered the Mediterranean avocado toast. Avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, & olives on a slice of their toasted olive bread. I would def order that again. Also bought an individually wrapped salted chocolate chip cookie from Just What I Kneaded. We bussed the table. No restrooms here, but you can use the restrooms at the coffee shop next door.

Everyone is always so friendly here. They always seem to be upgrading the interior as well, and it's small but they do have some window seating along with a few outdoor tables. On this visit, I got the OG Avocado Toast. The avocado was perfectly ripe and fresh, and a heaping portion was served over their toasted olive bread. It's a pretty simple preparation. I probably would have preferred the Mediterranean version, as the tomatoes on this weren't my fave and there was raw red onion mixed into the avo so I wasn't able to pick it out. Next time, I'll have to request it without the onion. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu items.

The pulp of the persimmon was amazing and my favorite part of the actual fruit so it was a great taste for me. The injeolmi mochi latte was fun as you use the cream to submerge the mochi and get a good, flavorful bite. The injelomi taste was strong and nutty but adding espresso was +$1. I recently tried the Green Forest Matcha Latte, made with mugwort (ssuk) for this earthy, almost tea-like flavor. I honestly haven't seen many LA cafés bold enough to put this on the menu! Their Injeolmi Latte is another great choice if you like roasted, nutty flavors. The matcha itself was high quality and vibrantly green, and a lot of their drinks come with homemade cold foams, syrups, and even mochi skewers, which helps justify the price. Their croffles are also piping hot and made to order if you're looking for a casual dessert spot and are all caffeined out. I love coming here for a post-lunch dessert or treat, and they even sell Korean pantry goods like homemade black sesame paste. I haven't worked from here personally, but it seems like a solid spot to camp out with a laptop too. If you want to try more traditional Korean flavors beyond the usual matcha and strawberry drinks**, definitely give the drink here a try. I also think the person that usually mans the counter is the owner and he is extremely pleasant.
