As soon as I walked in, I wondered why it had taken me so long to check it out. Located in an old warehouse, CMI doesn't have that warehouse feel. A good size room, filled with hand-braided rugs and baskets, the place is cheerful and inspiring. Even though I wasn't looking to buy anything, I just couldn't resist purchasing a Pawtucket rug (made from scraps of fabric) and a basket (perfect for storing those odds and ends). The staff were friendly and helped with moving rugs, giving the background to how they are made, and helping to roll them up for take away. While I was there during a huge sale, it seems that even the normal prices are pretty reasonable, as it was, I got a full area rug for less money that my IKEA rug cost me. And it is more beautiful, better made, and local. S This place has been there for 20 years, and is still a hidden gem.

So we ended up being there at the right time and day to snag one of their modular sectionals, which was 5 pieces just missing the arm. It was a $6k couch, which we got for $400 and we ordered the missing arm, which ended up being $450 on it's own at retail, but still a major win. I did go at least 3x a week to see their fresh inventory for about 3 weeks straight while on the hunt for a good deal, but in the end, it was awesome. My wife and I venture out there anytime we visit the Wrentham Outlets. Our next haul will be for a dining table, which they do have at a 40-50% discount from time to time. We've bought light fixtures too, at a great discount, and little by little, outfitting our home with quality furniture pieces. If you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting.

We were looking to have our dining room chairs reupholstered because we were seeing flaking on the…read morecushions. The material was some sort of faux leather and wanted to replace it with fabric. After doing some research and speaking with a few companies, we decided to choose Masterson. Ron and Scott were so easy to work with and took what was an overwhelming process and made it so easy. Scott pulled many sample books and spent time talking to us to best understand what colors and designs we were interested in. He answered all of our questions and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. We dropped off the cushions in early May and from the very beginning, told us not to focus on price choose what we liked, and he would be happy to work with us on price. As you can imagine, looking at so many colors and designs can be quite overwhelming and Scott was extremely professional and helped by offering suggestions based on the information we gave him. After sometime, walking around the showroom and looking at many books, my husband and I chose d the fabric that we liked the best. Scott worked his magic and made some phone calls however, found out that the print we had chosen had been discontinued. Back to the drawing board, we went with Scott by our side, helping us along the way. After a couple of hours, we couldn't keep colors and patterns straight anymore so Scott offered to let us bring home some samples and decide what we liked in our home against our furnishings. Within a few hours of getting home we chose the fabric that was perfect for us! We called Scott the next morning and asked him to please place the order. When we arrived at the showroom to return the sample we had borrowed, we told Scott there was an event at our house in three weeks and asked him if it was possible to have the cushions finished by then. Scott was very upfront and told us he would do his best but could not make any promises as he had some clients before us. A couple of days before the date of our event, we spoke with Scott and he told us he would have the cushions ready for us by the end of the week. We were over the moon with joy! , Not only had Scott given us a very reasonable price for the reupholstering of the cushions, he was able to return them finished to us by the time that we had hoped. We cannot say enough great things about Masterson or Scott and his brother Ron. Masterson takes the time to understand what you are looking for and go above and beyond to help you sift through the tremendous amount of options available at their showroom. They are professional, fairly priced, and in our opinion, take the time to really understand what their client is looking for. If you find yourself looking to have a piece of furniture reupholstered, consider Scott and Ron at Masterson's upholstery. Masterson did a great job for us and they will do the same for you.
