Had a nice experience here. Thought they made special scents and perfumes. Unfortunately that not what happens. They match you up with expensive perfumes. The process is interesting. I don't have a many colognes only essential oils. So I had to discribe what I liked to Victory. She helped my wife and I find some exceptional fragrances. Very please with what they helped us find. I'm sure I'll be handing it down to my grand children in 20 years. It's was a fun and sexy date with my wife. Merci beaucoup!

Finding your signature scent in a world bombarded by beauty ads, shops with floor-to-ceiling flacons, and duty free corners in every airport is not an easy feat. What we really need in order to unlock our hidden olfactory personality is a stripped down, logo-less space where we can quietly and methodically interact with fragrances in order to find the smell that moves us most. Nose does just that. After purchasing a gift certificate for my husband a few months back during a Yelp event we went to the shop together recently. An extremely patient and knowledgeable woman greeted us, sat us down in the back, offered us some coffee and then rolled up her olfactory sleeves and set to work helping my husband find his fragrance soul mate. The shop's digital database cued up a few fragrances for him to try based on his preferences but the clerk also made some great suggestions of her own. After smelling about 10 different fragrances my husband narrowed it down to two and then tried each on his skin. His top choice turned out to be one of the scents that the clerk suggested, which was also one of the least expensive fragrances in the shop, so she was clearly looking to get him the best fragrance match, not the highest sale. A wonderful experience all around and a fantastic gift idea!

It's very expensive, but totally worth it. Expect to spend about €300 but to have a wonderful time and to come away with your new favorite fragrance for life.

Oh my god she's so nice! She was very very attentive and listened to the problems I was having, asked about the products I used and educated me about the products they carried. We shared about the difficulties that our skin went through when moving to Paris because of the hard water. Honestly, words can't describe how sweet and caring she is--she offered to sample anything I wanted to try (she bottles it herself) and she understood I was carrying only a limited amount of Euros so I had to watch my budget! The products are working great so far and I can't wait to come back to buy the rest of what I was sampled. The whole experience felt like a friend trying to help me instead of just a business transaction-great customer service! Give this girl a raise or a promotion, she deserves it. Thanks, Camille!

This is a world class establishment carrying only the finest products from progressive Korean beauty products to classic French perfumes. One thing I absolutely adore about this particular Sephora is the amount of helpful employees around the store ready to help you with anything. My only downside is that you cannot use your Sephora insider card from America. Other than that you should totally stop by if you're on Champs Élysées.

A friendly greeting and attentive service can make a big difference in the overall shopping experience. I hope the store places greater emphasis on customer engagement in the future.

I am an American, and I'm addicted to my hair tools…read more No - I refuse to be ashamed! I use a hair dryer and flat iron at least a couple of days per week because I have a thick, wild mane and despite it being straight, it's often unruly... unless there's a good amount of deliberate intervention. And because I'd prefer to use hair appliances that actually work to their full potential, I skipped buying a 'dual voltage' flat iron while still in the States and instead opted to purchase one in France. If you think about the math, it works out: 35 EUR for an appliance that you'll actually own for future trips to Europe vs. a single blowout at the same cost. Convinced yet? Actually en route to the Monoprix in search of said flat iron, I noticed Cyra Lydo and decided to stop in. And I'm glad I did: I had at least a dozen flat irons to choose from... everything from travel-size Babyliss irons selling for 25 EUR to high-end heat tools. I picked a mid-range appliance and was quickly on my way. Result = good hair days throughout the duration of my trip, save for the day I was drenched in unexpected downpour. Tip for American travelers: Don't forget that the maximum temperature is expressed in Celsius vs. Fahrenheit!

I'm a big fan of Caudalie, and when I went to the numerous pharmacies in Paris, I quickly realized…read morethat the prices in France are much cheaper than in New York. So early on in my trip, I knew I wanted to stock up on Caudalie items. I decided to get all I need from an actual Caudalie store rather than a pharmacy because I would get points buying straight from Caudalie and it would be easier for me to get VAT refund by buying everything in one place since the overall prices will even out (some items are cheaper in certain pharmacies than the actual Caudalie stores). When I got to the Saint Germain store, I waited a little while because I was told I had to wait for the technician. I figured it's because the technician spoke the most English. It wasn't a big deal to wait and gave me time to do some last minute price checks. When the technician finally came, I basically told her I have a list of items to get. She was super surprised of how organized I was. I had each of the item's name, the US price, the Euro price, and any special offer combos. She was also surprised at the price difference. For example, a bottle of the make up removal oil was around $22USD, it was just 12 Euros at the store. The technician helped me pick out everything on my list and made some recommendations of what I need for my routine. In all, I left with a little over $240 and she threw in handfuls of samples from shower gels to eye creams. She also helped fill out my VAT refund forms. The only bad thing I would say is that I get different advice as far as what I need from various staff. The inconsistency makes it hard to buy the "right" product because I never really know what the right products are! But other than that, I love the Caudalie products and this shopping experience was top notch awesome!

My girlfriend and I visited Paris mid February and prior to visiting, she had recommended that we…read morebook a workshop at this Perfume studio from positive reviews she had read on Trip Advisor. The concept of being able to create a customized scent seemed intriguing and out of the ordinary in comparison to normal tourist activities, so we decided on the 'En Couple' package, which is a workshop for couples where you make two customized scents in accordance to personal tastes. Since we had only 3 full days in Paris, after booking, I had emailed the Les Parfums team via their website to set a specific time and date. They were willing to accommodate a Monday, 11:00 AM appointment, which fell in line with our busy travel schedule. Sophie I believe is the proprietor and also lead the workshop. We began by describing what our favorite market scents were and then were given a worksheet that had a grid matrix with sections for a base, middle and the top note. We were then given out numerous scents to sample for the base note and advised to write down our favorites onto the worksheet. After, we began to mix the base note with our preferred selections. It was the same for the middle and top notes, and along each step, Sophie would critique our selections as well as provide expert guidance, so as to create balanced notes in the scent and to truly customize the output. My scent was coming out a bit too musky, but Sophie, who's obviously nothing short of a master at this craft, helped me make some corrections that really helped to fix what I was mixing. At the end, I wound up with a great men's cologne that was not too overpowering, but sweet at the same time. My girl's came out very balanced with hints of jasmine and fruit and she loved it. After we were finished, we did some last minute smell checks and Sophie bottled our concoctions into spray bottles with labels for the names that we had come up with for our cologne/perfume. The end product was of very high quality and lasted pretty much the whole day. A much better experience than buying some cologne at Bloomingdales! Your customized scent is saved and I believe you can also re-order anytime directly from Les Parfums! Both my partner and I loved the lesson and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. If you are in town, I highly recommend this little studio as it's truly a unique and fun experience and totally out of the ordinary in comparison to the usual tourist stuff.
