Good fish, terrible salad! The grilled fish was delicious and the hand cut fries were excellent. However the Fajita salad, which is $11.99, came in a tiny bowl with lots of bland chicken, cheese, lives and jalapeños. There may have been 2 lettuce leaves under all the very fatty toppings, I'm not sure. It would be nice to get this salad with some greens or it really isn't a salad. Loved the atmosphere, very cozy. I'd come back if and when I'm not watching calories. read more

Amazing Northwoods atmosphere (both inside and out) and very friendly staff!! Had a very good Mac and cheese burger and veggie burger. Lots of beer to try on our next stop. Wish we were from around here so we could experience some of the live music on the weekends!!! read more

We loved this place since it opened but the last time we were there, we ordered a kids Mac-n-Cheese, they brought a pepperoni pizza, my 8 year old doesn't like pepperoni pizza but we took it since there was such a delay in getting out order we wanted to get going, they said they would check the ticket, they acted like it was our mistake in ordering but turns out that the ticket said kids mac-n-cheese but they never came back and told us it was their mistake and they charged us fro the pizza!!! I ordered the a burger, medium rare and it was overcooked and dried out, so was my older sons burger. No one ever came to the table to check on us after bringing the food. There must be a manager change possibly because it has changed so fast. We won't be back!! read more

Loved this place! Super cute atmosphere! Julie was awesome, so knowledgeable, beer variety was fantastic with a lot of good choices! Super glad we made a point of stopping here on our 'self guided brewey tour's. The pretzel and cheese sauce was the perfect accompaniment to both beer choices (the wall-IPA and the Bumblin' buzzin' brew! Went there on the way home from a road trip up north. As a beer snob, they kept giving us samples of different beers to try.... none of them were very good. Their IPA (walli ipa) was just not even an ipa, it was terrible. Food was ok. But very cheap food quality. Wouldn't recommend for beer if you're looking for quality beer read more

Worst servers and service I've had in my home state of wisconsin. Me and my dad stopped for a burger and a beer couldn't even eat the burgers the buns were hard/burnt the cheese was burnt to the bun and we paid $1 extra each for bacon and got a 1/4 of a piece of bacon on each burger. The servers we not pleasant and it took forever to get our food even though there was only maybe 20 people in the whole place. Go here for a beverage but avoid ordering food. The place looked promising on the outside but the food was disappointing from start to finish. The onion rings were mushy, dripping grease, mac and cheese came lukewarm, and the meatloaf sandwich was super salty, served on a stale roll. Maybe Saturday afternoon wasn't a good time for the kitchen or the wedding around back was throwing off their game. Pretty solid food and beer menu as you'd expect with a brewery. Actually I would venture to say the burgers were very good to excellent. There is also brewery tours available which is a cool part of the outing. The part that throws you off is that all food and drinks are ordered from the counter. Additionally, the staff seems to be inexperienced and not overly knowledgeable which makes me think there may be some turnover, however that's just a guess. Prices are average with $10-$12 burgers and $20 pizza. You can enjoy a night out and not break the bank, but you need to bus your own table. Not great for date night. read more

Great food, I had the Mac and cheese burger and the bun feels like an unglazed donut which was really cool. However, the music was switched mid song about 20 times during our meal (no exaggeration!). It started as old school country and went all the way to loud hip hop/rap by the time I was finished eating. It was rather annoying and ruined the atmosphere. Found this place on a trip thru Wisconsin. It's not you typical shake a day roadside place Wisconsin is know for and I live. But, that doesn't make it bad. Big place with a great feel. Definately a bit upscale in it's feel but still casual and fun. Didn't have any food other than popcorn but that was good. The rye beer was good, the IPA my husband tried was ok but not a favorite. But there were plenty of other options to try. A good place to stop on highway 10 just off of 94. read more

All of the other reviews were spot on. We stopped for a much needed lunch between NW Minnesota and Central IL. Very cool atmosphere and welcoming service. I had the brisket Rueben and my wife had the turkey bacon wrap. Both were very fresh and tasty. We both had a draft and sat out on the covered porch. We had been to this restaurant at their old location and loved it. They now have a beautiful location with decent beer and a smaller menu. They have a weird set up where you have to order at the bar and then just wait. Food was fine, but we waited almost an hour for it. It wasn't that busy, no reason it should have taken so long. Well, the beer is just not very good. It's fine. The IPA wasn't an IPA, and thoroughly undrinkable. The most drinkable of the several I tried was the maple saison, it was very mild and not overly sweet. The burger and fries were passable. They were fine. The help didn't have a clue about the beers, I literally heard "I'm a server not a brewer", well... when people are working at brewpubs I expect them to know something about the beer they're serving... but they gave out tasters. Might be ok or even good for the area, but I wish I waited til I got back to Madison. read more

Had a $10 slider they call a pulled pork sandwich. So not worth the money. Pork was barely warm, their claim to fame BBQ sauce was way to sweet with a less than desirable after taste. My husband had a Little bandit brown burger for $12 that I've seen lager sliders on a Bloody Mary and he ordered it medium and it came WELL done. Would not recommend this place to eat. Atmosphere was nice but that was it. Didn't try the beer so if you not hungry give the beer a try. VERY displeased read more

I used to go to the northwoods brew pub all the time at their Eau Claire location. Loved the beer, decor, free pool, and fireplace. It was my favorite place to go for drinks in the area. We decided on a double date to check out the osseo location. They have 3 order here sign locations at their bar to order drinks, so we went behind a gentleman waiting to order a drink. We stood there for 15 minutes waiting to order, the line built up behind us and the two bartenders completely ignored our 7 person line and were helping customers just walking through the door. We decided to leave and get drinks elsewhere. We will not be back until they receive antiquate, and better trained staff. read more

Good food, strange concept. Went there on a Saturday night with two other couples. You seat yourself which is fine, but we basically had to bus the dirty, empty table ourselves. No one ever came over to clear the previous patron's dishes. So after about 10 minutes of sitting with dirty plates, we moved them over to another table that had a stack of dirty plates too. I tried to not think about how I was sitting at a sticky table that I was about to now have to eat off. You have to order your own food/drinks at the bar. Sat at ordering station at bar for about 10 minutes until the lone bartender (very busy bar) finally came over and took my order, along w/my friend's order. Had to carry our multiple drinks back to the table (a tray might be a nice help?) and waited a VERY long time for our food. First couple's food came out, we watched them eat. By the time they were done, my food finally came out, by the time I was done eating, 3rd couple's food finally came out. No napkins, no untensils at table. Albeit, we had burgers and pizza and could forgo the utensils, what kind of restaurant doesn't even bring those out! The only wait-service we got was the waitress bringing out our food. Food was good, but very disappointing to go out to eat with friends and not even get your food served to your table at the same time. I enjoyed the food. My burger was delicous The ambiance is good, very nice building with a great atmosphere, but if I wanted to clean my own table off, order my own food and run back and forth to get my own drinks, I would have just stayed home. Not on my list of good places to eat. While the lunch experience was okay, the food was good but their ordering system and service is terribly slow and not at all customer friendly, tonight I stood waiting to order while the manager stood three feet directly in front of me loading the dishwasher. Dinner is another matter, seven of us at one table, our food came out two plates at a time over a thirty minute period. The first two we sent back as the fish was on the cold greasy side. It is entertaining as you can watch the servers circle the place carrying plates looking for their home. More than once tonight the same plates circled two and three times before landing. No doubt lukewarm at best. They do bring in some good local talent only to have the horrible acoustics negate the experience. The outdoor deck on a nice day makes for a relaxing experience as long as you are not in a hurry. read more

Walked in I was very impressed! Looked around talked to waitress she had me try a couple of beers. I was falling in love ordered a growler of beer even bought a couple of beer glasses to bring home. Ordered our food and drinks the waited and waited and waited. They where only half full. And waited. They had a super good musician playing that was nice. Still waiting! No one came and asked if we needed more drinks. Then half our order came few min later other half came out guess what? It was cold. My 7 year old daughter waited over a hour for cold Mac and cheese. The Ruben I ordered was not good tasted like a wet dish rag. We where never asked how anything tasted. Then guess what no one came so I waited at bar to pay which felt like forever after all the time we sat there. To top it off I have some beer glasses to remind me of the horrible experience if I ever chose to use them. Seems like you might need some managers there or something. read more
