Well where do i start. First, i feel in love with this apartment complex. It was perfect for me…read more Then i fell in a hole that was covered with grass and tore my meniscus in my knee. The manager of this apartment complex admitted liability because i walked her to the hole and showed her, "she said oh I thought it was the hole that was big enough to put a body in" . I asked numerous times to work things out with them and all I got was ghosted. So I had to resort to hiring a attorney, The whole time I have lived here I have been a good resident, pay my rent, quiet, follow the rules and cause absolutely no problems. I was up for renewal in November and I received a letter from the manager that I was not being renewed. I know why because I had to hire an attorney. Most of the reviews on here are true, thin walls you can hear your neighbors upstairs, breezeway is dirty, cat poop in the breezeway, garbage piled up at the compactor, dog poop in the grass, maintenance needs more training, gate is broke most of the time, but with all of that I was going to renew. Now right at the holidays I have to find a new place to live because I am being punished because I hired an attorney because of their neglectance of maintaining the grounds. So honestly it doesn't pay to be responsible nor honest at Evergreen at Five Points because they will throw you out,

This place is beautiful inside and out, rent is pretty high, but I mean they really take care of…read morethe property and expect not much from you other than to just pay your rent on time. Few downsides is that people are lazy, so when just one trash bag is sitting at the trash compactor, expect everybody else's trash to be right there too.. piled up along the stairs and all. Flies everywhere, smell is terrible and cleaned up very slowly. Not aesthetically pleasing for the front apartment buildings and visitors. A lot of college kids live here, so they tailgate at the pool almost everyday all day. Alcohol, grilling, music... it makes it hard to get some peace out there... but I guess it's first come, first served. Broken glass bottles in pool, trashed hallways of the apartment buildings a lot of the times. And parking is terrible and tight!!!!! Also our washer doesn't spin or clean our clothes the way that it should and every time I call for help, I'm told that it's working fine!!!! Definitely not fair when I pay extra on rent for a washer and dryer included. Also have to pay confidence fees up to $40 a month when paying rent, which in my opinion is ridiculous! So if you're looking to rent an apartment out, sure live here, but somewhere much better and at a better price I'd recommend you do.

First let me know I have worked in housing for 12 years and student house specifically and I have…read morenever witness such a cheap execution of property t management. Remerton Mill was great when it was managed by RISE, then ownership dropped RISE without sending any any addendum. They told the residents that ownership had changed but in fact Remerton Mill has been owned by the same ownership which is a very elderly man. This property went down hill, and fast. As of August, we had not had pest control since March. Bugs were crawling in my kitchen, laundry room, and in my bedroom, and my poodles room. Their female leasing agent stated "Well; you know it's the south, you're going to see roaches" Roaches? I said bugs! I told her if I see roaches then I'm going to have a huge problem. That's disgusting. Maybe where she was raised they had bugs but where I was raised we didn't have "bugs" and I don't dwell in such surroundings and never have. Their brown haired leasing agent then stated she would call me, she did not. She then called me stating that they were there, no warning. I was not home and I was not letting them in due to the fact they didn't have on masks when I looked at the camera. Pest control did not come until September. They hired a new property manager, she's the "hefty" one and she doesn't seem to be fit to walk, let alone run the property. She and the female leasing agent consistently closes the office early to see her "lover" before her "husband" gets home. Yes, she admits this in front of her residents. If you need the property manager, again, the one who's heavy-set, will tell you she's on a conference call. She's the lady typically wearing clothes very short and shows inappropriate sightings. They all dress inappropriate; gym attire, hair is usually wild, & one wears shower shoes. They're brown haired leasing agent, typically in a messy right out of bed hairdo, says "My residents will need me before I need them" says someone who works as a Leasing Agent. They left all emptied units doors unlocked during move-in for weeks and none of the locks were changed. Hence, we will have homeless people sleeping. I was stalked and harassed by a mentally challenged person because the gate NEVER works. Be careful walking at night because they hide behind building "B" around 2am when the bars close to ask for money, again because the gate doesn't work. The apartments are poorly built. Multiple residents complain about; cabinets will aligning, floors contain ugly white marks, he hires his friends to do all of the constructive work orders instead of a contracted certified repairman, walls are paper thin ( I could hear every sound even clear voices), water leaks in the apartment during the heavy rain or when they pressure wash (they finally scheduled one when I complained to the health department) power will flips off when operating the dishwasher. Your mail? I mailed myself a letter to see why my legal paperwork was taking so long and I got it 9 days later. They do NOT pass out the mail and you'll never know if you have a package unless you track it. They don't have a trash compactor, just two small dumpsters. So you will be attacked by flies, yellow jackets, and please watch out for the maggots and larva on the ground. I was stung so many times I would just take my trash to where I worked. Don't be fooled by the cop's car, they don't have a courtesy officer. And if you value your child's life and they're on the "opposite side" of the color spectrum, Remerton Mill is not the place for your child. It's just an expensive, extremely ghetto community ran by an old man who could care less and operates the property without announcing himself. They're logic is they'll just keep getting new leases because they're new. But as I stated, I do this for a living and I give this property a year before it has the same reputation as the one on Lankford drive. Remerton Mill? Extremely ghetto, I would not recommend. You might as stay off East Park.

When expressing to Trina that my apartment bathroom had been flooded while I was away on a TDY for the military, when speaking with the property manager, Trina, she told me, and I quote "that is not our problem" and that while the flooding would he fixed, my damaged property was none of her concern. 2. There was another incident where management decided it would be wise to hose down the patio above mine in knowing that our patio floors are NOT solid, and that there are cracks. The chair I had on my patio was in fact soaked, along with my moving boxes that I had to throw away. When Laura came to see about the damage, she told me nothing was "damaged" rather it was just soaked (comical) and that my boxes were "trash" and could not sit on MY patio. When calling to speak with both Laura and Trina about Laura's comment, both Laura and Trina were extremely rude. Not to mention, Trina, the PROPERTY MANAGER, hung up in my face and threatened to call the police on me because I asked to speak in person like adults rather than argue over the phone. 3. My dog was also attacked by another dog on their property in THEIR dog park. They made it clear that was nothing they could do about it because there were no other reports made on the dog. Come to find out, the dogs didn't even belong here yet they were roaming our dog parks. This is only 3 of several instances where the property's management team has shown that they are nothing short of unprofessional and rude. Please be aware of who you will be paying your money to if you decide to move here.
