She was sent here by a woman who did not know her and was forced to stay longer because of our mother's testimony to a therapist which my sister was supposed to see each day but had not until this meeting. My sister was on her period when she got in and was not given any sanitary items. My sister was sedated every day as she was having an ongoing panic attack. My sister did not have a plan to commit suicide when she entered. The moment she left she made a plan. The next year and a half she attempted to rebuild herself but was unable to get out of my mother's house. This February she ended her life. My sister did not feel safe attempting to access any forms of treatment due to the heinous way in which she was treated by this facility, the woman who petitioned her, and her own mother. She was treated like a pawn. A pawn for empathy. A pawn for money. Our current mental health services do nothing to alleviate the root suffering and are barely even a band aid upon the consequences of said suffering.

Also, my tongue began breaking out in Canker sores that has been a sign to my physicians that I'm likely fighting some type of infection, illness, inflammation. They are very aggressive in your prep, having you taking laxatives a week before the procedure, and being in clear liquids for a full day before the procedure. My procedure was at 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and I was to have no solids after Monday night. My prep kit didn't start until 8pm, so basically went to the bathroom all throughout the night, then finished the prep next morning (day of procedure). Also, the doctors office called my prep kit into two different pharmacies and gave me written instructions stating "do not follow the instructions on the prescription container, follow these instructions provided by the physician". I had to have a physician paged because the instructions made no sense. It's because they gave me a different prep kit than what they provided instructions for, so the physician walked me through the instructions on the bottle (like a child). I shared I understood the instructions if that's what I need to follow, but just needed to know the dosage. He interrupted and said, "I'll get to that", then proceeded to tell me how to fill with water to the line that reads "full to here". Meet with the nurse, meet with Anesthesiologist, we're minutes away from go time, and the doctor comes in to tell me the clinical director will not allow the procedures because of a Canker sore on my tongue. I've literally had sores at all times for a minimum of six months, been seen by multiple doctors, and getting the gut checked out was the next step in figuring it all out. I reached out to friends and colleagues in the medical field and anesthesiology, and this is a quite uncommon policy and decision. The doctor tried to explain and express his understanding, but the fact is, he doesn't understand. Time off of work for me and my spouse. Shuffled schedules, the prep, exhaustion, etc., and absolutely nothing in return. No answers, no feeling better, no next steps. Nothing but wasted time and money, to go through it again with another clinic without an absurd policy to cover their rear ends by being dramatically o early cautious. My anger was and is beyond words. Very kind staff, very disconnected administration. One other note, this is Edward Elmhurst so they are pulling everything from my chart. Three different appointments, most recently a week ago, where the Canker sores on my tongue are a primary area of concern. This could have easily been avoided. I wish I could give negative stars. A clinic that says, 'you show signs of being unwell so we won't provide medical treatment".

They were apologetic about any delays in each step of the process. They made a quick assessment of my condition, but it was thorough, even going to the online records of my usual Healthcare provider, who is out of state, to compare to previous exams. I wish Rush Copley had a facility in the state where I live, because the care I received there was first rate!

I thought it was turning into an ear infection or sinus infection so I had to find an urgent care ASAP since it happened to be January 2nd and everything was closed in observance of New Year's Day. I called to confirm this place was an urgent care and that they were open. The woman was polite on the phone and told me they were open and they weren't busy at all at the moment. So I zipped over and she was right, no one was in the waiting room. Just me myself and I. They work on a walk-in basis FYI. I was seen within 2-3 minutes of checking in. The doctor came to my exam room within a couple minutes of my vitals and info being taken. Dr. Hornung was who saw me and he was professional and nice. I was in and out of here in 20 minutes but they didn't rush me at all. It was spectacular service for someone who had no energy from being sick. This place is located at the corner of Eola/New York St. They are right next to Paulie's Bar & Grill and there is a subway right there too. The whole office and waiting area was super clean and tidy. If I need an urgent care again this will be the first place I think of. Definitely recommend. If you're reading this, I hope you feel better soon!

I'm really sad to be writing this review and angry. I have been at patient at Duly (or under other…read morenames with different ownership) since I was a little kid. I am now 52. My mom went there until she died last year. My dad is a current cancer patient. I go with him to some of his appointments, and as mentioned, I have gone to many of my own. My dad and I are always kind and patient. Last July I went to the Rickert Duly Lab location to get some lab work done. This lab work was from an outside provider. I was not told that Duly had changed external labs (from Lab Corps to Quest). So I was completely unaware that I should verify my insurance with a new lab. So I was surprised to receive a bill of over $900. What has followed has been months of phone calls, trying to understand what happened. I have been transferred from person to another, each person telling me that someone else needed to help me. It sounded like people were reading from scripts. There was no listening, no empathy, no "oh gosh! That sounds really frustrating!". Just monotone scripts or sometimes people talked over me. When I called the following departments, people talked over me: the billing department - multiple times Customer patient experience The worst was when I spoke to the supervisor of the Labs. I don't know her name, but her number is 630-420-3482. She talked over me, was defensive, and showed no empathy for my situation. She told me that signs were posted "everywhere" (with voice raised and irritated). She said the signs say that they send to an outside lab. I gently suggested that it would be nice if the sign said something about how because it is a new lab, one should verify with your insurance. She talked over me over and over again, showed no empathy, and acted as if I were being rude. I do confess that at the end of the call I was rude. I said something along the lines of "Ok, I get it. After months and months of calls, I see that no one is going to help me or apologize. " An apology and some empathy would have gone so far with me. I am an elementary school teacher. At my job , I am expected to smile and show empathy all day. Validating another person's experience is something we teach our kindergartners. I can't believe this is the same medical system that my family has gone to for years. It felt like I didn't matter. Like I was annoyance. Like I was someone who should know better. I am guessing nothing will come from this review, but I hope something does. I hope the departments I spoke to and the supervisor I talked to are made aware. That's just not how you treat people - well, at least it didn't used to be. I worked customer service in the Naperville area for many, many years making minimum wage. Kindness and politeness were always expected.
