Emerald Springs Bottled Water - Deliver to Pacific City

    Emerald Springs Bottled Water

Home bottled water delivery up and down the Central Oregon Coast -- Both 3 and 5 gallon bottles…read moreavailable for delivery every 2 weeks, or once a month as needed, plus they have dispensers if you don't already have one. And -- the cost is equivalent to buying bottled water at the grocery store -- except you don't have to lug it to and from the car or up stairs etc. The water in Lincoln City is a way over chlorinated, and even something as basic as Alka Seltzer tastes awful -- not to mention soups and iced tea or coffee -- so I had to find a place that offers tastier water -- and this is it. It's RO (reverse osmosis) water, in plastic bottles -- Very helpful guy on the phone makes sign-up a breeze. not much else to say about it. They carry it up, and even lift the 5 gallon water bottle for me! What more could you ask?!

We had this service for about a year in Newport. Very good deal vs. having bottled water that you…read moreconstantly have to purchase and then take the bottles to the store to regain your deposit. The pricing is very fair. Used to have the service at my work, but when the guy using it retired, it stopped. I contacted the owner to set up home service and rented the dispenser. You just leave your empty bottles outside on the designated day and they pick them up and leave the filled bottles. On the Oregon Coast, it rains, so the bottles were often brought into the garage wet. Also, when it came time to move, we put a note on the empty bottles to be picked up and it said to only leave 3 instead of our usual 4 and 4 was left anyway. Our normal delivery date was 4/22 and we were to be moved out by 4/21, so I figured we would have bottled water on-sight while we moved. I called on 4/17 and was told it would be picked up the next day and there was no refund for a full jug of water, even though we had specifically asked for 1 less jug and they gave us an 4th anyway. Outside of that one issue, I was very pleased with the service. They were always on time and I enjoyed not having to deal with a million plastic bottles every month as well.

Sierra Springs Water - Fraudulent bill (salesperson stated $24.99!)

So, as I stated before, I would update my review as the service improved. Well, the service has…read moredefinitely improved and been consistent for the past year. The problem now is with the actual water, itself. I'd say about 1 out of every 5 5-gallon bottles literally tastes like pennies were in them. I just tried to choke down a glass from a pretty rough looking bottle and it's just undrinkable. My mouth tastes like I've been sucking on coins now. If I had the option to change providers, I would. Until then, I have to pour out 1 out of every 5 bottles.

Absolutely abysmal company with NO customer service in North America and the bill will be 3x what…read moreyou signed up for. (Their call center is somewhere in Asia - probably answering calls for hundreds of companies.) I specifically stated both when I signed up and in the portal's delivery instruction section that the driver HAD to ring the doorbell and bring my jugs inside, as I am on medical leave and cannot lift them. (Thus the need for water delivery.) Instead, I got a text saying my delivery was complete and found the jugs sitting at the bottom of my front steps. Called for a week to try to get it resolved, but since the people answering the phones don't actually have any connection to the company none of their promises that the driver would come back or call me ever happened. I ended up paying the son of a friend to come bring them inside days later. The sales rep I signed up with stated my bill for first delivery would be $24.99 (after a referral discount). I was charged $70.96. This is pure fraud and the company has made sure they don't have to hear from ripped off customers by hiding behind their overseas call center. And has anyone else notice that every single response on Yelp by this company is an identical AI-generated blurb? There is actually no "Cara K" or any of the other alleged "people" who are "replying" from Sierra Springs. No wonder people contacting their Texas number are told they don't exist.

Not that Albany tap water is all that bad, but I've gotten addicted to Purified Water to Go. Their…read moreimpressive looking system takes out pretty much ALL the bad stuff and leaves really good tasting water that I can trust putting in my body. I had been running tap water through a counter top filter or paying over $1/gallon for water that had been sitting on a shelf in a plastic container for who know how long. This is so much easier and tastes so much better. The main thing I want to say is that Pam has got to be THE nicest business person in the town! On just my second or third visit, she not only remembered me as I soon as I walked in, but knew who all my family members were, who was on which VIP "water" card, and was asking immediately after everyone's health and happiness, because she pays attention and knows who we are! After a couple years of happy water drinking there, it almost feels like going to visit a friend.

The owner was great, showed me the process and explained that they use a specially processed water to clean the inside of the bottle before refilling it. IT'S FAST!!It takes the same amount of time to fill 6 bottles as it did to fill 2 at the water machines. I love that the filled bottles go on a nice little cart to take them out to my car. It's absolutely worth the little extra to have such quick, awesome service and the water tastes great, too!
