Northwest storage is committed to raising the prices every year, as high as the market will bear, and reducing services.
Northwest Storage ( the one with the terrible car wash) was built cheaply and many of the inside units leak, as do the hallways.

There is no air conditioning or climate control. Climate control during the summer is opening the door in the morning.
In the winter the air conditioning unit creates an ice sheet but nobody ever puts salt on it to remove the safety hazard.
The outdoor unit adjacent to mine is saturated with water and it leaks into my indoor unit. The other tenants next to me moved out because their motorcycles were damaged from this rain water. They said they complained and were ignored. There were floods and tenants had to put sandbags next to their outdoor units.
Now, after raising the rates again ( they do every year) they have lowered the heat of the indoor units from 55 degrees to 45. It's cold and damp. My locker tests at 75 degrees humidity. ( you can buy a humidity thermometer for under ten dollars at ACE hardware.)
They paid an electrician this summer to reset the timers from an hour to 15 minutes,so you have to get up and turn it back on, just to save them money.
They used to allow tenants to use the dumpster, and that was taken away too.
As I said, they print wonderful copy about how great they are, but it isn't true. read more
