The 1st couple of months they offered me half price rate of $70 for a 5 x 10. At the third month it went to $144. At renewal they wanted a $93 a month increase. I said that's crazy. I attempted to try to negotiate though my lease says they cannot exceed either a 10 or 14% increase. I cannot locate my lease at the moment though their new leases say they can apply an unlimited price increase whenever they like. If you don't mind paying the prices for the super rich, then this is your place.should you be paying $200 for a 5 x 10 storage. It sounds unbelievably high to me. The other units they have for a little less cheaper are very dark, cramped space or had building a/c vac components hindering the unit's dimensions. They want my unit because the only available unit they had when I moved in , was at the front door on the first floor.

Anybody considering renting space in this facility would do better to make bookings on the website. I made reservation over the phone and paid $30 reservation fee. The lady I spoke with on the phone (who works the front desk) did not disclose the admin fee, that the discount is only applicable for first 2-months, and even though I originally requested the "convenient" storage space she set me up on the "saver" space on the top floor. Needless to say, moving all of my furniture up there was a big pain in the ass. All she had to do was give an extra 5 minutes of her time explaining thoroughly over the phone - I might have went with a different storage facility after finding out their prices but at least I wouldn't have had a bad experience.

It's a really clean building and I thought I would feel unsafe with the area, but I actually feel really safe stopping in to get things in and out of storage. The staff are really nice. I just added a second storage unit at the last minute during a move and they were so helpful to get me the extra unit right next to my existing one. I really appreciated how friendly they were, it made me feel more comfortable being in the building. I highly recommend the Happy Valley location! The 5x5 is a little smaller than actually 5ft, but the ceiling is super high, so it's something to plan for when you're moving your stuff in.
