My one start review is because I take a med that must stay refrigerated. I'm accustomed to buying it from another mall order pharmacy in a cold packaged styrofoam container and it stays cold. With Northwest, they boxed it in a regular box with 2 cold packs thrown in. Needless to say, my meds didn't stay cold and I have to throw it out. Not only have I lost $75, I'm frustrated because I called customer service to verify how it would be shipped, they guaranteed it would be cold upon arrival. read more

I used to love this pharmacy and the representatives for many years but something has changed. In the last year, they consistently tell me my medication is on back order or pending indefinitely. Sometimes they give me half the quantity or say they can get it locally for more money but now they don't even do that. When I recently told the representative I would have to go retail he said it'd be a fortune! Why on earth would he comment on the price with another vendor when he cannot offer the product at all? Pros: Good price for the medication my cat needs, saves me approximately $100; Medication is received relatively quickly considering where it is coming from; Shipping confirmation email is sent each time I have ordered. Cons: Both times that I have ordered, the check I uploaded was verified and processed prior to the medication being shipped, yet a week later I receive multiple calls asking for payment and threatening me with collections if I do not pay. I am unable to speak, so I emailed the company and ask for assistance. No response was received but the calls stopped and I was able to place a 2nd order later when the refill was needed. Just received the 2nd order and again I am receiving calls re a billing issue. It really pains me to give these folks a negative review, but something has changed in their organization, and it's not the same as when I first started doing business with them in 2014. I've had a medication I've purchased from them all these years, and they've not only price-matched competing CIPA members, but also delivered the product in a reasonable period of time. The product is manufactured by Pfizer in the UK, and is provided by Northwest's supplier, Cedarwood Pharmacy (again, in the UK). My latest order was placed in mid-July and I'm still waiting on the shipment. When I first placed the order, their agent tried to upsell me the Canadian equivalent product, which is $3.86 per tablet. Based on my price match, my order is at $0.88 per tablet. They never previously tried to push a more expensive alternative, but merely graciously accepted my orders. So, after getting absolutely no acceptable projected shipping information from NW's customer service, I contacted their supplier, Cedarwood Pharmacy. Cedarwood indicated they should have a supply of the medication by mid-September. Not feeling entirely comfortable with their "should" statement, I contacted Pfizer directly. A U.S. based Pfizer customer service individual contacted their counterpart in the U.K. Pfizer UK indicated the medication was "readily available" on the UK market, and more would be released in mid-September. I related all of this information back to NW's customer service. NW's customer service was entirely unhelpful and took the aggravating "there's nothing we can do" perspective. They claimed they "expedited" the product a week earlier, got a response from Cedarwood that a delivery date was not available, and then said they expedite this sort of thing on a monthly basis. Monthly basis? You have open orders and customers desperately waiting on a product, and you expedite it at monthly intervals? And if the manufacturer claims their product is readily available on the market, it just makes no sense to me that Cedarwood would not have access to it. Instead, NW's customer service again suggested I purchase the Canadian product as an alternative. Frankly, I get the impression NW is merely not giving the UK shipments any priority, so customers are forced to buy the 438% more expensive Canadian product. 9/14 - I revised this review to be a positive one after NWP contacted me and advised they were able to secure this medication after all. It is expected to ship to me next week. They apparently made an extraordinary effort to assist me, which I think is what good customer service is all about. read more

Price was certainly better for Rybellsus, but the process of receiving a shipment is seriously flawed by shipments being held indefinitely by U.S. Customs. My last 90 day refill came from Dubai and appears to have been confiscated at Customs. Ordered in June and never received. They provided a refund bur I can't trust them in the future. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever used. They send medications with very short expiration dates and then say it's for my protection. I have been using Synthroid medication for forty years since my thyroid was removed. It is a critical drug for me. I keep a one year supply at all times for emergency preparedness. All U.S. pharmacies dispense brand Synthroid with expiration dates of at least one year. Northwest pharmacy sent me the product with six month expiration date. And they make me pay for shipping BOTH WAYS. I will never buy from them again. I would have given them one star but the product seems legit. read more

I placed an order on 3/10/2020. The doctor wouldn't approve the renewal without a new appointment, so I didn't worry about it. On 5/4/2020 I got an email stating that they had gotten the order finally placed (When I went in for a annual exam the doctor auto renewed all my prescriptions.). I no longer needed the drug and emailed them to not place the order. They didn't respond so I called them. I told them I didn't need the drug as it had been over two months. They said they had it on a recording that I said I wanted it still which was false. They said they'd already shipped it and debited my checking account. They sent tracking and since I never received the drug (today is June 8th) I checked the tracking and it said it never had reached the initial facility. I called Northwest twice today. I was told that the resolution specialist "Gary" would be in and call me in 15 minutes. Several hours past with no call and so I called them myself. I was told "Gary" wasn't in today and there was no one who could help me. I told them that I'd wait for a supervisor and was placed on a long hold after telling them I was going to report them to the FTC and the FDA. My medication is in lmbo because NW says UPS is having problems. Some how it is always somebody elses that is at fault. I keep calling and their "Resolution dept" was supposed to call me three times yet it hasn't happened. Their drugs also have short eapiration dates which makes me think they want to make more money on shipping. read more

The prices for some drugs are great and some others not so good. Customer service is why I am giving them a 1 star. Doctors office sent fax twice and they can't find it. In talking to customer service it depends who you get on the line. Some are ok, and some you feel as though you are trapped in a vicious circle. I asked one of the representatives how long it took them to process a fax, and was told 24-48 hours. I told her then that it had been faxed 3-4 days ago. Then she said oh, it takes 3-4 days to process. Which is it 2-3 or 3-4 or? One would think they would have a better system in place. read more

My son needs medication for a brain injury, but he has no money and no Rx plan. The US price is about $360 / 3 month supply after shopping around. The Northwest price is $125 - same name brand, same box, same dosage and confirmed by blood analysis. Always a risk it will be intercepted at the border because of laws bought and paid for by the US pharmacy companies. I'm tired of them ripping off the US consumer, especially through Medicare. Sold all my pharmacy stock. Big media deal about the epipens in the US are now about $600 a pair. On this site it's $125 a pair last I checked. Other drugs I purchased there because not covered by medicare were 1/3 to 1/4 the US price. Deliveries always on time. read more

Excellent service We have been ordering Quinine for my mother here since 2009. Medicare will not cover this drug for what she takes it for, leg cramps. Got my prescription at 22% of the Brooklyn Costco pharmacy price, including shipping. Delivery takes 3 weeks and you won't get all those delivery notification emails you're used to, but it's coming. I was sent an ED medication (generic Cialis). It was the second time I've used it. The first time was very good. The second time there were no viable pills in the entire box. Americans, DO NOT USE this pharmacy! There are tons of other online Canadian pharmacies that have much better customer service and prices. The prices they charge here for meds is way over priced! They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. First of all if there are any issues with your order, such as the RX or payment they literally sit on it for almost 2 weeks before they even let you know. They do not do any emails there is no way to track your order. They don't even send out shipping confirmation emails. You always have to call to find out what's going on with your prescription. And by then it's usually been sitting there for two weeks which adds another for the delay since it takes three weeks to ship to you. Average wait time on the phone for this place is usually 40 minutes or more. And almost all of the agents to answer the phones have no clue what they're doing. You'll call one day and I'll say everything is good with your order. And then a week later you'll call back to find out and discover that something was missing and they sat on it for weeks. Very curt and rude when you call with an order issue like I just experienced. Spoke with supervisor (Lynn) on an issue where I asked to have one script held until my other MD faxed in two more scripts, so I could bundle the $9.95 shipping charge together. First rep talked fast and was just trying to get rid of me quickly as to the reason they bothered to call and let me know they received the two orders "that same day". I asked to speak to a supervisor who was even ruder. Been using them for years, but will now look for another Canadian online source once my refills are done. Not happy with their order processing system, their website or their many rules. And their rude customer reps. Worse yet, they no longer accept credit cards. They blame the credit card companies, but its probably they don't want to pay 2-4% or higher to the credit card vendor, so you are forced forced to keep your blank check (which I am really uncomfortable with) on file opening the potential for future identity theft!
