GREAT SERVICE at Northwest Auto Body. Our GMC Terrain was hit by a boat trailer at City Beach and Eric at Northwest Auto Body was absolutely wonderful in coordinating the great price and payment details with the gentleman that hit our car. It was a pretty long and deep gouge and large dent in the front fender, and to look at it now not only would you never know it was ever hit but it looks better than the rest of the car! Fantastic! I had a terrible accident and my car was totaled! They made a bad situation so much better. They were helpful and knowledgeable and immediately fought with the insurance company for me. NW autobody was fantastic. Helped me work with insurance and figuring out the best way forward for my repair. I was relieved not to have to total out my pickup and these guys helped me work through that. Unfortunately, it took a while to get parts but since my truck was drivable, it wasn't so bad. I wish I could give Jill and Clark 100 stars, but I can't. I had an fateful encounter with Bambi on my way to work in early October. A friend of mine recommended that I check out Northwest Autobody because they had a freakin AWESOME experience so I gave them a call. When I arrived, Jill had candy and an amazing perspective on customer service: "We got you covered." I had one caveat, I needed my truck back in 8 days because I had to travel to CommieFornia to help a friend with a move. Clark contacted me, let me know that he was pushing his suppliers and team to get my truck back to me on time. As the assessment of my truck's damage was further evaluated, my estimate went up from $7K to $11K due to damage; thank The Lord for insurance. Even more components were needed, but Clark and Jill jumped into action; this was on Monday before I had to leave! Ha! They pulled a rabbit out of the hat, called me on Tuesday evening: "We got you covered, our team worked extra hard, we'll have you finished by Wednesday evening!" WHAT?!?!? I arrived Wednesday evening, paid my deductible, and my truck LOOKED FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!! They came through for me in a MAJOR way; much more than I could have expected or imagined. I even tried to gift them something to say thanks: "Nope, this is what we do...just tell people about us." FROM THE ROOFTOPS! Get your body work repairs done here, you won't be disappointed. This is a very late update, but one I thought I'd done long ago. The day after the NW employee torqued the hitch bolts, I had my trailer inspected by a hitch installer at a local U-Haul. The owner/operator completed the trailer work quickly, then I asked if he'd be willing to give the hitch bolts and extra torquing as the NW employee was afraid he'd snap them off. It's a good thing I did! NW may not have charged me a penny, but the bolts were nowhere near close to being turqued down. In fact, the U-Haul owner was able to wiggle the hitch and manually loosen a bolt! I watched as the U-Haul owner cranked each of the four bolts before they stopped turning, then he brought out his 1/2" drive torque wrench and torqued them to the hitches specs. Thank you NW for your help, and I mean it, thank you, but I could've had an accident. Of course, the employee did state he was afraid to wrench on them any further. However, trailer hitch or bolt torquing should be left to others. On the plus side, I've spoken with others who've used your auto and towing services, and they're quite pleased. Best customer service experience of my life! Visiting from out of town, my small car was backed into by a truck in Sandpoint. I had a meeting to attend that day in Coeur D'Alene and I had to drive to my home in Central WA. While assessing the damage to my car (and with an obvious look of panic on my face), a nice gentleman stopped by and told me I needed to have the car looked at as the bumper was rubbing on the tire and the light was broken. I said I was from out of town, and asked if he had suggestions. His immediate recommendation was Northwest Auto Body. I am so grateful for his answer! I drove my car with its bumper severely cracked and nearly falling off to arrive to a friendly greeting of professionals who genuinely wanted to help. We live up on Schweitzer and had to get our food truck towed down the mountain because the brakes went out. Cara in the office was great. Very helpful and definitely knows what she's talking about. The rear tailgate of my vehicle was misaligned and getting pretty bad. When I dropped by Northwest Autobody, they were able to quickly take a look, understood what the problem was, and get it all back in great condition in no time at all. Signing up on Yelp just to write this review. I had an amazing experience with Eric Donenfeld and his team at Northwest Autobody. In August 2016, I was vacationing in Sandpoint and got into an accident. I had a tight time schedule for the vacation and the accident jeopardized the rest of the trip. Eric took in my vehicle the same day. He provided an estimate, a thorough explanation of the work that was needed and helped me work with my insurance company. We agreed on his proposal and he began working on my truck the next day. He had it fixed, washed and returned to me within about 5 hours. Eric even dropped off me and my wife in downtown Sandpoint for the day. He couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Highly recommended. read more
