I need to share a wonderful story about something that happened today. An elderly lady was trying to find her way to my home this afternoon and though i was trying to help her via phone directions, the problem was only getting worse, not better. After 20 minutes of trying everything I knew to do to help her, I finally gave up. I asked her please pull off the road into the first gas station or convenience store that she could find and try to find someone that looked like they knew where they were going and ask for help! She did just that. She was fortunate enough to approach a wrecker driver named Tyler and tell him that she was lost. I asked her to give Tyler her phone and let me speak to him. He asked where she needed to go and I gave him my address. I asked if he could direct her to get her headed the right direction and then I'd talk to her over the phone and get her here. He said that he would. A few minutes passed and I hadn't heard from her so I tried to call. She didn't answer and so I called Tyler's phone to see if she was still standing there with him. He answered and said "well what we ended up doing was that I just am driving ahead of her car to your house so she can get there." I was blown away by his extreme, kindness and consideration. Who does that? Just so incredibly kind and sweet of him to help this elderly woman who was clearly very lost. There is no telling what would have happened to her or where she would have ended up today, had he not jumped in to help her. I cannot thank him enough and would hope that his employer is beyond thrilled to have such a great young man in their employ. The next time I need a wrecker, I am calling Tyler! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are a gem. read more

Whoever the curly dark hair dark skinned boy was he has no professionalism. Pulled up all combative and wouldnt even listen. Police had my bike towed by them for alleged street racing. A goated worker named leo explained the towing procedure and what he did when I called him from the lot. The bike was leaking coolant for some reason neither worker or I knew why then he came down 45 mins to help fix it due to it just being the hose clamp came alittle loose. Leo even offered to tow it to my house free of charge when we weren't sure we could fix it. read more

Jimmy tried to scam my elderly parents into paying $480 for a 2 mile tow. He towed the care to their house and then treatened to tow their car to a warehouse if they didn't pay the $480. I had to threaten to call the police before he would release their car. read more

NEVER do business with this company. We were quoted $250 for a tow from Cypress to downtown. When we called back that afternoon to schedule the tow, I asked for an exact price and I was told the exact amount couldn't be given at the time. After towing the car downtown, Jimmy charges me $350 and threatens to tow my car to storage if I didn't pay. Extortion! Dishonest, evil, manipulative people. read more

One of their drivers came very close to hitting my vehicle as they made an illegal turn. I honked, to make sure he saw me. Instead of a quick apology wave, he shot me the middle finger! I've read the reviews and wreckless driving seems to be a reoccurring issue. It's unfortunate that the owner lets it keep happening. They need to raise their standards when it comes to hiring employees. read more

their tow truck drivers are completely reckless and endangering other people, and believe that they are the only individuals on the road literally had an incident with three of their wrecker driver on hwy 6 and huffmeister. Try calling the business to report the drivers and to let them know I have dash cam footage of how negligent their drivers are, no response no answers no callback. you would think if you're driving a company vehicle with a company's name on it along with their phone number you would drive with a little more respect and decency for the other people on the road and use caution not making everyone look out for you because you feel like you're completely entitled. worst part is it was not just one driver. It was three drivers and three separate vehicles driving recklessly. read more

Looked over at the tow truck and he got mad slammed on the brakes and followed me to my car and then proceeded to follow me as I drove and was slamming on the horn read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This company has zero disregards for other human life as this morning a driver in their Blue GMC almost hit multiple cars, jumped the intersection from the turn lane on west, and barker to cut multiple cars off. When I called their dispatch the response I got while trying to make a complaint as I was almost involved in an accident due to this was shut the F*** up you Who**, and then was hung up on. They then called back 2 mins later because amongst the yelling I informed them that I filed a police report. I understand that wreckers are important to ASSIST in clearing an accident however you are NOT above the law. read more

Great wrecker services. Contact them for all your collision repairs good professional work. 100%

These boys really know how to treat a person in a bad situation. Needed a wench out and a tow my F550 was stuck 100 yds on the rainy nasty day and they came to the rescue!!! The bald Hispanic dude is to perfect, more companies need guys like him. He went above and beyond to make sure my family got out the rain and in his truck and on our way home. We Love you Northway Wrecker Service read more

BEWARE. Wish I could give zero stars. They are crooked. We declined using their body shop and told them our body shop would be there to pick up within the hour. Fast forward 30 minutes and they took the car to a storage lot who refused to give it to our body shop's wrecker driver without us being present. Of course towing it to their lot cost us more money. read more

If you ever have to get a tow, make sure that it's not by this company. They demanded "142 dollars cash money" as soon as they lifted my vehicle, even though I was told that I wouldn't have to pay anything up front. Then my vehicle was towed to their lot, District 4 Auto Storage, where it was held hostage for awhile, despite the fact that I signed a release form. They drained my insurance for more than $600 in fees. These guys are slime balls and try to take advantage of people in unfortunate situations. read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! My wife's car got hit and they towed her car (Their towing name is North way wrecker #891) to their lot and they gave her false information on what she could give to get her car release and when she got upset, they hung up on her. I called them back being perfectly reasonable and told me my wife had an "attitude problem and needs to lose that before she can pick up her car". She is the customer and she is always right. Not apparently to these people. When I mentioned she was upset and maybe you could explain to your customers better, he cut me off and said, "Don't try to put this back on me." It is completely illegal for them to try and hold someones car and our insurance is reporting them. I tried to report them to the Better Business Bureau as well and I couldn't even find them in their database. Another reason not to use them. read more

Guy was a real jerk. I was travelling through Houston on my way back home from Florida when my car overheated. gave these guys a call. The guy I talked to gave me a hard time about everything I had to ask when i needed my car towed. Ended up calling another place cause he was so rude. Like I was interrupting his day by needing my car towed. I thought that was what they did considering they are a tow company. Go somewhere else. Save yourself time, aggravation and not having to deal with nasty, rude people. read more

These drivers are rude cocky and arrogant. Their service is crap and they act like they are doing you a favor. It is actually the opposite. They are rude to other drivers just passing by and have an attitude they shouldn't have. I would give a zero star or negative rating if possible. read more

This company is going to kill someone rushing to get a job at the scene of an accident. I've seen a truck from this company twice drive reckless enough to cause a fatality. The first was running a definite solid red light (it had turned red a few seconds prior and the driver didn't make any attempt to slow down, they sped up). The second time, the truck was going close to probably 70 MPH down highway 6 (posted speed limit is 40) and used the right hand turn lane to pass traffic at a light and go straight through it as if it were an emergency vehicle. Dangerous enough as it is, but even worse at excessive speeds. Also, wanted to add that a neighbor on nextdoor reported being cussed out when she called the dispatch center to inform them she was almost hit by a speeding truck, it sounded dramatic, until I just read another review on here where a driver swore at and yelled racial slurs at someone else. Apparently they have no problem swearing up a storm to anyone that inconveniences them. Don't give this place your business. read more

Three company trucks racing down 290, weaving in and out of drivers. All this while in the construction zone. Not a company I would do business with! read more

I do not recommend this place. I do not like to leave bad reviews, but the customer service is terrible. I found the driver that I had to deal with, very rude. He lacked professionalism and customer skills. He appeared to be in a rush and did not want to take the time to answer my questions. If at all possible, take your money and car elsewhere. read more

Had a Northway truck behind me as I was driving through a school zone with my children in the car. Driver was laying on his horn and inches away from my backend. When I tried/started to move to the other lane to let him by (I was in the right lane to begin with) he whipped around me almost causing me to hit him. Only reason I gave one star is because I could not give zero!!! Rude and dangerous drivers. read more

I had my car towed this morning by Harold. Great guy and he was a lot of help. I'm new to the area so he gave me a lot of advice as to where to take my car for repairs. Hopefully I won't need to but if I ever need a tow again I would definitely use them. read more

The worst wrecker service in Houston. Don't let these guys hustle you. They will try to hustle you to their body shop, then hold your car ransom. Very dishonest, if they tow your car tell them to take your car to your home, or a trusted body shop. The owner is a lying piece of crap. read more

Terrible. Rude, accepts only cash and was pissed when I didn't happen to have $145 on me.

I hate this place. They are crooks and absolutely con artists. My car has been in this wrecker yard for 6 days and every time my insurance tries to pick up the vehicle they are never there, will never answer the phone, and refuse to offer any assistance or secondary number. They have no management and are violating their customers to a degree I have never seen. My car now has 800 dollars worth of fees attached to it because they refuse to run their business properly. There have. Been reports that they purposely unplug their phone to cause this additional burden and fee rack ups. To top it all off they can not find my key to my vehicle which will cause additional stress for me and my insurance. I am currently reporting you to the better business bureau of investigations because you refuse to answer your phone or treat me like a human being. You are not allowed to get away with this type of treatment towards me and my family. read more

Very unprofessional and all I needed was my vehicle towed I didn't expect to be disrespected and talk down by the tow truck driver that was supposed to help me. I wouldn't recommend this company.. read more
