I don't normally bother giving feedback but after my first car service today I felt I needed to let…read moreyou know how disappointed I am. I bought my used Mazda 3 just over 6 months ago from the Gepps Cross yard. During the last 6 months I had trouble free motoring. Loving the car. I noticed I was getting close to the scheduled service so I went online and booked. I love the online booking system by the way. I was going into my first service sceptical of the capped price service and my concerns started to come to life in an email from the service team. Their records indicate that my car is due for a wheel alignment. I asked how much extra and was quoted $59, fair enough I thought. When I get to the service centre at Hillcrest what I experienced was some of the most dishonest and blatant gouging I have ever experienced. Tony asked me if I had any concerns with the car and I mentioned some starting issues occasionally. Tony then proceeded to tell me what the problem was and casually drop another $295 on the bill. Then he tells me the alignment needs to be done on the front and the back wheels so that will be extra. I showed Tony the email quoting $59. At this stage I was thinking capped price? does not feel like it at all. He has not even seen my car and he is quoting prices to fix it. How can he know what the issue is without even looking at the car? Next question was how are windscreen wipers? They probably need changing I said. $48 for 2 rubber blades? Once again I start to question the whole capped price thing. Tony then tells me they need the car for the whole day. I was very surprised by this as I was quoted 4 hours. I have planned to wait for for the car if I knew it was going to be a whole day I would have made other arrangements. Not have the most positive experience so far. I decided to not go with anything other than the basic service because I was feeling lied to and ripped off. I would like to know line by line what is included in the capped price service. I plan to investigate what is industry standard for a capped price service. From what I have seen so far this feels like a business built on deception and lies to return a profit. Can I also get some details about the extended warranty, Will I void my warranty if I take my car to another place for service? Right now I feel like I have been lied to from the moment I bought the car and if I had the money I would be counting my losses trading in my car and moving to a company that keeps their word and does not use deception to suck money out of people. From what I have experienced today I am not expecting a reply. I have this picture of you reading this and being proud of your business model, I really hope this is not the case.

Never go here!! I…read morehave had many bad experiences with numerous cars, services, inquiries and have never, not once been pleased. I have always found it hard to be satisfied with getting my car services or find anyway in my north-east area of Adelaide, not even because I am small, female and blonde. But I regretfully took me car here, booked it in for a service, picked it up and almost keeled over the price and customer experience. After waiting at least 10 minutes in the makeshift "office", due to renovations, I was finally acknowledged by some rude man who's phone call I had clearly interrupted. I was palmed off to some apprentice who didn't speak a lot of English, who gave me my keys and said $700 please. I thought I had misunderstood him, unfortunately not. They had failed to inform me it was a major service and of the things they had done. I stood there in shock, and had to transfer money on my phone from my savings account as I was not prepared for this. I drove slowly home, thinking my whole fortnights pay had just gone to servicing this car. I spilled to my Dad as I got home and he rang and abused them, then my Mum, a renowned letter writer and complainer, tried to make her mark on them too. But to no avail, they completely disregarded what had happened and kept hand balling to different departments for reference. In the end, they are a big company, they got their money and they don't care if you come back, you are only one person. This is only 1 experience, I could share with you many more, but this review probably has some sort of word limit.

Would recommend to anyone and will return again.

Over the 12 weeks as the oil thinned out, The knock got worse until the motor gave up. The second car was for my child. We weren't allowed to test drive it as it was packed in the back behind the other cars and he didn't want to move them all unless we agreed to purchase it first. He assured us, It had undergone a check from his mechanic. We drove it out and he was closing up. The front wheel was grinding so bad, Im surprised it didn't seize up, It was that bad.I called him up but he said he had left and to come back in the morning. We lived 100 kms away. I called him the next day and he said to bring it back the next day. I made plans for someone to pick us up and drive us all the way home. I called that morning to confirm to bring it down and he said he can't do it. This went on for weeks. I cannot believe they are still selling cars. He is rude, Doesnt allow test drives unless you but it and very belittling to women. SAVE YOUR MONEY and don't buy any car from JAX.
