Mitch was very Unprofessional with me and the seller's chosen title company on contract due to close in a few days from this post. His office didn't have the ALTA ready in time for the initial request for docs so seller could sign. He was talking down in emails to me, a reator who has been in the business 10+ years. Half of my clients are buyers side so I deal with lenders all the time. I would hope none of the ones I use would talk to agents like Mitch talked to me in writing. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL And the agent he was working with was the same way on this file. They both are peas in a pod wtih their unproven reasons for asking for credis, slowing down the appraisal process with lots of excuses, and just blocks all over the file in the last week for reasons I have never heard of before on any other deals. Had to copy my broker on messages to show lack of respect this LO has for someone that has the right to ask for updated per the AS IS FL BAR contracts. I kept my contract with Mitch to one call in the beginning and a few CC's on emails and the picture below shows you his response to being kept in the loop. This company told our side INS coudl not be bound because of some 72 hour rule from Citizens. My insurance agent and the title company used on this deal have never heard of that before. Maybe its a new thing but this is the first time I have heard of that blocking a closing. I attached the message straight from email to show I didn't have to make this up....read it for yourself. Not very professional now is he....sounds like talking down to me.. read more

I am beyond pleased and grateful for the work, time and dedication Lawrence Lanos gave my husband and I during our home buying process. He was always extremely efficient and took the time to explain every aspect of each step to us. Lawrence always gave material with a breakdown of all the rates and acronyms into logical information we needed to make the right decision and went out of his way to make sure we got the best available loan at the lowest possible rate. Without hesitation, he answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable when we asked the same questions for further clarification. Lawrence is extremely knowledgeable, very professional and his experience was a huge reason we knew we were in the right hands. Lawrence is kind and cares about his clients. His good humor is always at the forefront, and we have established an excellent rapport through our dealings. Lawrence gave us a list of recommendations with full specific instructions on what to do, we followed them exactly and here we are today, a first-time homeowner. We love my new home, and we will always remember him as one of the reasons we have it. We fully intend to refer him to our family and friends, and we know that he will offer each of them the same wonderful service that he gave to us. Thank you for being so wonderful and gracious to us during this entire new and exciting journey. Big kudos to you, Lawrence! Justin and Angela Smith read more

As a first-time homebuyer (with a million questions), I am so thankful for the opportunity to have worked with such a professional and knowledgeable person as Lawrence Lanos. From the initial mortgage application to the day of closing he kept me informed of the process and was always just a phone call or text away. Additionally, he was very organized and thorough in managing the countless documents involved in the home buying process. I appreciate the detail he put into making sure I provided everything requested of me prior to going into underwriting. This attention to detail was essential as it allowed for a smooth and on time closing. I am eternally grateful for Mr. Lanos as I am convinced he played a tremendous role in making my dream of homeownership a reality. Overall, I am beyond pleased with the services Mr. Lanos provided and would not hesitate to refer him to others as well as do business with him again in the future. read more

y friend recommended me to Northpoint Mortgage after my previous Broker completely let me down and I was about to lose my dream home. Lawrence was amazing!! He definitely went above and beyond. I was under an extreme time crunch and only had 2 weeks until closing. He did not let me down and even worked on his days off. I had complete confidence in him. He made the whole experience completely stress free. Also, being recently divorced and now a single woman, he made me feel very comfortable and at ease. If I had any questions, he answered me straight away. He provided me with an excellent interest rate and the costs were exactly what he had estimated them to be. The rest of the staff also had my file on "high alert" and worked extremely hard to ensure I could close on time. The overall experience was awesome and I would definitely recommend Lawrence and Northpoint Mortgage to everyone!! read more

I'm so thankful to have worked with Mike Powers for my closing. He was able to navigate several tricky situations and help me get through settlement on a very tight timeline (less than 3 weeks). He's the type of guy who will ALWAYS answer your call, and usually on the first ring. The Crowdstrike fiasco happened on the day of my settlement but Mike was on top of it and made sure everything got pushed through before the end of the day despite system outages. He's experienced, knowledgeable, and a great guy to work with. His team was great, too. Zeest Khan went above and beyond to get me additional home insurance quotes when the original insurance company hadn't replied fast enough. I'm glad I chose North Point and ended up with Mike Powers. I highly recommend him. read more

I definitely recommend, Lawrence Lanos, as he completely saved my home purchase. I was initially with a private bank (Bank of America) that was giving me the run around associated with an offered grant program. I re-contacted Northpoint Mortgage about 19days away from my closing date (that had already been pushed back a week due to Bank of America) and he was able to get the job done on time and without a hitch. He was easily accessible, knowledgeable, organized, and very helpful even on the day of closing when the final inspection was leading to other issues. As I write this review, a little over a month out from closing, he has followed up and even was able to help me with a question related to my title company's actions. It was a pleasure working with you. read more

Lawrence was absolutely phenomenal! His tireless efforts throughout this long process need to be recognized and rewarded! We are very fortunate to have had him in our side and we would not have been able to close without his professionalism, dedication, and open communication. After everything we've been through with this process and last-minute changes, we consider a valued friend. Kari and I would like to extend our personal and heartfelt gratitude to you for being the man you are and being in our corner. Because of you, WE HAVE OUR FOREVER HOME!!! Open invitation to come see it sometime! read more
