    Vitalii - Repair toilet

Fun fact: Did you know that Lowe's does NOT deal directly with connecting or disconnecting gas…read morelines, despite the fact they sell things like...gas stoves and gas powered dryers? I know...it makes no sense. Which is why the convenience of having dependable local businesses is so highly celebrated here in NH. And that's where Vitalii comes in. So, Vitalii is actually a man. One guy, that I know of...who has claimed a business here on Yelp in his own namesake. Turns out, he is Ukrainian, which is a bonus for those of us who want to show our support for Ukraine. Whilst English may not be his first language, that doesn't stop him from performing his tasks to the utmost professional level. You see, I have a gas dryer which I am in the process of replacing at the time of writing this review. Only problem is...the gas line running to the dryer must be disconnected before anyone can haul it away. Since a lot of places won't touch a gas line with a 40 foot pole without proper licensing and/or the temerity to license their own employees to do so, I had to once again scour the four corners of Yelp to locate someone that could. 10 minutes later (just as advertised), Vitalii responded to my query with a quickness that exceeds even that of The Flash's bombing at the box office (too soon?). His task was to disconnect the gas line from my broken-ass dryer and cap the open lines thereafter. He completed all of this within the same amount of time that it took to answer my query. AND....he was able to arrive on the same day of said request. It's worth mentioning that I had originally been given a much longer ETA (of about 2 weeks) from a competing company I normally do business with; hence my hasty search. Not to mention the 75 bucks I just saved going through a smaller repair shop. That's it! Job well done, in and out, just the way it should be. I have zero complaints about this guy. And I am giving Vitalii 5 very relieved households about to receive a brand new electric dryer out of 5!

Had Bubs out to fix two small leaks and prime our well pump. My mistake was letting them start…read morewithout asking for their rate or an estimate. Getting water running again was our priority but he suggested starting on the leaks. Not long after beginning, Bub's father told me they couldn't attach their fitting to the well line because water was coming through; realizing my well line is gravity-fed after beginning. I had to pull the well line above the water level myself before they could install a shut-off valve. My well cover is about 300lbs and the line is 8ft down. I'm not sure what their plan would've been if I was not there. After saying the water was flowing again, they later told me my pump was done for and not to run it. They quoted $925 for a new pump, not including labor. With two hours of labor, the bill also came to $925 and my family was no closer to having running water. The materials installed were six feet of copper pipe, several compression fittings, a shut off valve, and a pipe hanger. I called another plumber afterward, who knew right away (just from a phone call) that my pump was fine. He had it running smoothly in minutes by clearing a port of sediment and then adjusting the pressure switch. Bub talked a lot about his experience and showed up with help but needed me to find a way to stop the water in order to address the first leak and then either missed or ignored the step that would've gotten my pump working. Their website claims they're transparent and budget-friendly, but I wasn't told his extreme rate upfront, the bill wasn't itemized (still waiting 9 days after he confirmed he would), and I nearly paid for an unnecessary pump replacement. Leaving 2 stars because the copper work itself was solid, but charging $250 per hour for six feet of easily accessible pipe work feels unreasonable. Being given the wrong diagnosis on the pump was unacceptable and raises concerns about their expertise or honesty.

Brandon fit me in, fixed the sink quickly, and was polite and professional. I would definitely recommend Bub's to anyone needing plumbing services!

Two gentlemen showed up at 4pm. They said there was "too much water in the pipes". They removed my toilet and sent a snake down and put in some chemicals. Said they would charge extra to put the toilet back on. Told us if that didn't work to call them back and they'd come with "a bigger snake". Charged me $544. I called back that night as it obviously did not work. Night receptionist had no idea what I was talking about or that I was even a customer. Said she would have the owner call me. He did not. Called the next day and again was told the owner would call me. He did not. Called a different plumber on Wednesday who actually jetted my pipes. He also said the snake actually made it worse by pushing more down. I called the amazing receptionist again who said the owner offered me 10% off. $54 dollars. They did not do what I specifically called them to do -jet my pipes. I think it was going to be a long, messy job and they didn't want to do it, so they threw a snake down and charged me $544. If you need your pipes jetted, call Lamprey septic. They were amazing.
