I purchased a carwash after seeing signage advertising "Try our new carwash." Upon entering the wash bay, it immediately became apparent that the equipment is not "new" and more importantly, was not functioning properly. The wash consisted of only water and brushes. Additionally, one of the internal components was visibly spraying water abnormally, suggesting mechanical malfunction. I went inside to inform the cashier, Oscar, that the wash was not working correctly and asked for either a refund or a coupon to return once the wash was repaired. His response was dismissive and unprofessional. He asked to inspect my vehicle and then stated, "It looks clean to me." My vehicle was only lightly dusty to begin with -- the point of the wash was not to remove heavy grime, but to receive the full wash treatment I paid for. Had I simply sprayed my car with a hose at home, it would look identical. I reiterated that I paid for a service that was not delivered and again requested a refund or future wash. Oscar refused and offered no resolution other than to call the 800 number for Loop. Read the reviews, nothing is going to change, looks like this same thing has been happening for years and the owner (Nancy) doesn't care. read more

You would think this Shell station would have the best business of the 4 gas stations in this small group. BUT NO! It's actually a little hard to get to. Once you see it while on Manuel T Freitas Pkwy, there's no driveway to turn in to. Okay, why did I bother to stop here? Because I use the Shell App and card, and they require at least two fillups to get promos and discounts. So I made the quick decision to stop here, and got fooled by the price sign. It's not "Credit vs Cash," it's "with wash or no wash." What's even worst, the car wash uses recycled water. Yes, it's filtered recycled water, but I notice a gray color to it. The station itself is spacious, with a food shop, and a restroom. Tip: The Chevron across the street is nicer. read more

I will never go back! I've been here twice within the past 2 weeks and both experiences were enough to hate it. Really, the second one is my fault for choosing to go back for more punishment; but never again. My first visit I got a car wash and it stopped half way through. When I went to inform the cashier she interrupted me to tell me it was my fault. I told her ok I have soap all over my car and I'd like another wash to actually clean it. She refused. Luckily the car wash repair guys were there and they argued with her for 10 minutes and finally got her to agree to give me a car wash. Apparently she was super Ed rude to them as well. My second visit was two weeks later at 5:30 am and I went to get coffee while my tank filled up. Well the cashier informed me that the "coffee guy" hasn't come in yet so there is no coffee until 6am. Are you freaking kidding me?! Yeah right, you mean your lazy butt doesn't want to make the coffee so your waiting until the morning shift person comes in to do it. I went back out to wait for my tank to fill and then decide to go in and get some creamer. They don't sell any in the coolers so I took some small single serving ones since I was now making coffee at work. I told the cashier I was taking some creamer with me. He said "well Hom many are you taking?" I said a handful of each flavor. He then said "well that's going to cost a dollar! I told him no and said if you had coffee I would pay for that and I walked out. He followed me out and took my license plate down and said he was going to call the police on me for theft so I gave him a dollar. The staff is rude. They have no desire to help or be accommodating. They treat the customer like they are a cancer to get rid of. They will never get my business again. read more

I visited this gas station and the pump said to "see attendant" and when I did on 1/26/23, the attendant was chatting with a "friend" behind me - unbeknownst to me the "friend" was watching me, got my PIN number and tried to use my numbers for purchases. Just want to warn people. read more

I sometimes get my gasoline at this gas station but the cashier named Oscar is so ride and has No customer Service, maybe needs a training? And also I complained to him about thr carwash that didn't clean my car properly and also the Coke starlite promo is misleading, thry had a Company Sign also a made up Signage? Buyer beware: I have been coming to the station for years because of its convenience, but I am not going to go back. The reason has to do with the lack of trust surrounding the automated car wash. 1) I purchased a full tank of gas and then added a car wash. There was no explanation of the various wash options or prices. I had to choose blindly. I remembered over-spending last time, and so I chose the 3rd option for the Express wash. I had no idea how much the was cost until my receipt was printed. I was charged $7. 2) At the wash entrance, the prices were published. The Express wash cost $6, not $7 like I was charged. I entered my code and it told me I was getting the Express wash. Hmm. So I purchased a $67.93 tank of gas and then was penalized by a dollar. I was honestly expecting a discount for purchasing more than 8 gallons as I had been in the past. Now I'm paying more. Doesn't sit right with me. So, why won't I go back even though it's only $1? Lack of transparency in pricing. I choose to NOT spend my money when the business owner chooses to cover up the purchase options in a way that harms the consumer and then outright charges me more. Double wronged. I expect more from a major brand and certainly more from any business I frequent. read more

Thought I'd give them a second chance. It still sucks. It still stinks and this time the pay machine wasn't working and while I was figuring that out, some a**hat in a big truck blocked me in so I had to drive through anyway. Fortunately, the machine wasn't working because, once again, it probably would have made my car dirtier than when I went in. The 76 station across the street is WAY better! read more

They changed the menu so now we can not get the extra 5 cents by entering the allt id for the Rewards Card. This is another way for the station to get more money in addition to the state of CA raising the gas tax though I know of no one who voted for itt. read more

I am still parked outside the gas station,I want to go through the car wash again because yesterday I was stopped in the middle of it and no light came on.Went inside, the young black boy looks like he is half asleep,he mentioned I don't know what I'm doing and he was telling another customer.I told them I am 5 minutes away and being using the same Gas Station for me and my clients car for 2 years. So I told him I have to go because I was late,gave me a receipt told me to come back,I said any time he said yes. Today the door was lock,after 10 minutes same guy working in open the door I explained heres the receipt,I saw the car was is not working . I think the main complaint I have for this gas station is its location. It's hard to navigate into and out of when there's a decent amount of cars filling up their tanks. Sometimes one has to get clever and really know the dimensions of one's car just to insure no damage happens. Other than that, it is conveniently near the mall and not too overly priced. I haven't had any problems with the pumps and I can usually get out of there in 10 minutes or less. read more

They definitely use dirty water and you leave with your car streaked with dried on dirty water. (I went very, very slowly through the dryer, but to no avail. I guess if you're willing to get out and dry your car with a towel, this might be better.) read more
