She has a real eye for capturing the essence of her subjects in natural surroundings and creating beautiful art. We couldn't be happier with the results and feel lucky to have had our pictures taken by Eliza. Eliza had a special talent for making my wife, children, and I feel at ease during our photo sessions which avoided the feeling of any "staged" photographs. I am unaware of whether Eliza does any studio shoots, all of our shoots were outdoors in natural and beautiful environments. If you're considering Eliza for any photography work please don't hesitate to enlist her services. You'll be doing yourself a favor!! Eliza has my strongest recommendation!

I just received my online gallery from Maria Alexandra Photography and couldn't be more impressed!…read moreI'll add a photo or photos once I figure out how, but I must say I had a great experience with her. I grew up in Southern Oregon and wanted to have my engagement shoot there to reflect that part of my life (we're having the wedding in Colorado). I started from scratch and was lucky enough to come across Maria Alexandra. Her online profile impressed me and her prices were very reasonable compared with a few other local photographers of equal caliber. I am an average woman, 5'5 average build, no exceptional looks, but Maria Alexandra managed to make me look half-goddess. I would say her real strong points are her newborn and child portraits, but I can't express how happy I was with her work on our engagement shoot. She told me she is interested in fashion and I believe she may go far because her portraits are just amazing! She was easy to work with and really put two amateurs at ease- allowing for much better pics. I would sing her praise to anyone.

When I saw my wedding photos, I felt like I was flipping through a magazine. What more could a bride (and groom/bride) want? From the time I booked Kali to the time she showed up at our wedding, she was professional, kind, funny, warm and excellent at blending into the background during intimate moments. For those that are shy in front of the camera, don't worry, Kali will have you smiling and relaxed in no time. As a former photographer, I have high standards, and Kali met them and then some!

This review is solely based on an informal consultation…read more We met with Kali 7 months ago. She was very professional and showed us sample of her work as well as her pricing. Kali appears very patient yet talented (as you can see from her portfolio). She also comes off as very flexible - we particularly liked one of the photos (which has a vintage treatment). She explained to us that although she had not done an entire wedding in that style, she could and it's also her preferred style. In addition, when we share with her our ceremony location, she told us she had taken photos there (which is not a must have but a definite plus). She says she will send them to us for review. All in all, Kali seems very easy going and flexible. After speaking to a few photographers, we realize that it's not just about picking talents but also personality that somehow can work with ours since you must feel comfortable working with them on arguably the most important day of your life! We didn't up picking Kali but I'm positive she would be great to work with.
