Portrait Slam is filled with wonderful creators and models! The environment is beyond accepting and…read moreloving! I made so many friends and it has opened up more modeling opportunities for me! My one complaint is that some of my photographers have had a complete lack of communication on getting my photos to me.. or at all.. i've had to hunt down two photographers who didn't know how to even contact me. Portrait slam releases headshots with everyone's contact information on it, which is smart in keeping the right communication. I think the photographers maybe did not care as much about certain photos they took as much as others. Having to reach out and ask if they even have my photos is upsetting considering I paid to do this slam. Other than that, Portrait slam itself is not responsible for the photographers communication abilities. they host wonderful slams with Decor, furniture, a beautiful venue, costumes, and jewelry. I cannot wait to attend another slam!

Another Awesome Batch of Pictures From Thomas!…read more SITREP Always a fun time to be with Thomas when he is at work capturing the fun and special moments like at the recent "Marin's Best!" THE SETUP Marin's Best is a charitable organization created by a group of concerned parents and volunteers from the Marin Community, and they support the social, educational, and sports activities for persons in Marin County who have developmental disabilities (DD). Events like this are a tremendous way to bring the community together and share their hopes - through action - for a better life for DD adults. Thomas Rosencrantz Photography does exceptional work in creating and memorializing those magical moments with his camera to share with both participants and organizers alike. GOOD TIMES My friend Bridgette and I were part of the promotion through CellarPass and other related groups - we grabbed our reservations and were looking forward to this Monday night here at The Lighthouse Bar & Grill in Mill Valley. Of course, Tom captured one of our moments there true to form! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/thomas-rosencrantz-photography-mill-valley-2?select=W76iTflIWLYH0bVcIlhaFQ Thomas was on hand to document the festivities and he was diligent capturing the moments between the competitors. Oh! Did I forget to say that the event-aspect was a Tequila Drink contest between competing bartenders? Everyone was having a good time drinking tequila, eating tacos, and raising money for the "Marin's Best" Community groups providing support and activities for the disabled adults in Marin County. THE LOWDOWN Thank you, Thomas Rosencrantz Photography (and Tom!) for making memorable events even MORE memorable after they are over. :)

We don't directly contract the food catering for our wedding events, but I can certainly recommend Quality Catering to anyone. I worked with Terry via the phone and email to set up a surprise birthday party for my mom from out of town. There was a great and long list of appetizers both hot and cold to choose from. A staff member arrived at my winery venue on time and in professional manner. She set up a lovely buffet of the appetizers I had pre selected. Chafing dishes for hot items, real plates, silverware and cloth napkins were all included for the price quoted. A staff member stayed and made sure that the food stayed full, fresh, people where helped and tables bussed. Near the end of the event the staff member quietly broke down the buffet and thoughtfully packed the leftovers for us in take out containers. I was impressed that we were even left with paper plates and napkins if needed. The leftovers reheated nicely the next day for lunch. I was impressed with both the quality and quantity of the food for the price. I have had several guests ask who did the food. I would not hesitate to use Quality Catering for another event.
