We also did the shipwreck tour... 2 hours - well worth it - need to get lucky enough for a sunny day. Saw 4 wrecks via a glass-bottom boat; guides very knowledgeable and easy to approach. The Captain added some commentary; but we couldn't hear him through the audio. Tour is in Thunder Bay - just outside Alpena - you leave from the museum. Tours are at 10:00, 1:00 and, 4:00 My recommendation - get there 90 minutes before the shipwreck tour - tour the museum, take the tour - and stop in the gift shop on the way out. You can leave your license with them for a gate key so you don't have huff it out to the firing lines. The firing lines do not have RSOs so you will need to agree with your fellow shooters to have a cease fire to check/change targets. The have a trap field but I am not sure how much they charge for using their trap field. I don't believe they have a skeet field. The Thunder Bay Bowmen shoot there for indoor and outdoor archery. There are also several gun leagues that shoot there. If you are driving a bit of a distance to go there, give them a call first to make sure you are not surprised. Their number is on their web page. Also, there are TWO parallel roads named Sportsman Dr! Do NOT take the one to the East. It leads to the back of the airfield and you will probably get some angry military policeman trying to kick you out.
