I ve been here 3 times , just for shows, never for hockey games…read more The arena is old and you see it! The hallways a tight and get congested real easy. The merchandise areas are little and cramped. The bathrooms are also little and lots of the stall doors are broken. It's cold in the winter. The whole place seems to be on a downward spiral, advertising is taped to the wall or hangs flimsy of their lit up boxes. There is one entrance down a ramp that leads directly to the big floor. Handicapped ramps are steep and narrow. The ushers and security are nice and friendly but it's for sure time for a new arena!

They have added boxes which are pretty much sold out to local large businesses in town. They have managed to organize some large name bands to come to Sudbury recently, but they really need to work on improving the way tickets are sold and the capacity of the arena. But if you love the wolves, it is fairly cheap to watch a game. Parking is available downtown but not usually free, and they charge money for nights when the wolves are playing, I would suggest parking a little far away and walking downtown if you want to save a couple of dollars.

The clubhouse is staffed on the weekends from 9 AM to 2 PM. They charge 8 dollars to use their…read morerifle and pistol ranges. You can leave your license with them for a gate key so you don't have huff it out to the firing lines. The firing lines do not have RSOs so you will need to agree with your fellow shooters to have a cease fire to check/change targets. The have a trap field but I am not sure how much they charge for using their trap field. I don't believe they have a skeet field. The Thunder Bay Bowmen shoot there for indoor and outdoor archery. There are also several gun leagues that shoot there. If you are driving a bit of a distance to go there, give them a call first to make sure you are not surprised. Their number is on their web page. Also, there are TWO parallel roads named Sportsman Dr! Do NOT take the one to the East. It leads to the back of the airfield and you will probably get some angry military policeman trying to kick you out.
