After almost 20 years of using their service, this summer they decided to punish us for being eco friendly. They were going to charge us 1.80 per gallon to fill our tank because we only use one tank a year. Found they are charging different prices depending on your usage. All other propane dealers are charging 1.25-1.35 for summer fill. They are total ripoff, So after being customers of amerigas for 18 years, We decided to switched. There was 150 gallons left in the tank when they took it. After charging a service fee, restocking fee and dispatch charge, we got a check for $45.00. I have dealt with northern energy four times now. Two phone calls and two visits. Every time I call I speak with the same woman. The conversations are awkward and strained. I always end them feeling weird and then I think about it and realize she is just rude. Rude, unprofessional, and not welcoming is also how I would describe my visits.
