We had two totally uninvited flying squirrels get into our basement two days after Christmas. My husband put a call into Northeast Wildlife Services with a hope that MAYBE we could get a call back and MAYBE a visit the following week. To our great and wonderful surprise, Ray called my husband back within an hour and said he would be by to our house that afternoon!! Ray arrived as planned and confirmed we had flying squirrels getting in through several exterior access points near dormers. Ray came back a day later and placed one way doors on the access points. These "doors" enable the squirrels to leave our house but they can't get back in the house. Ray will come back in a month to remove the doors and plug the holes. This gives the squirrels an opportunity to safely and humanely exit. It is good for us because the squirrels aren't trapped in the house. Ray was knowledgeable, thorough, a very good communicator when he was delayed at another job and reasonably priced. Awesome! read more

I had been hearing scratching in my walls for several weeks & had tried 2 different pest removal companies with no success. Finally I called Ray at Northeast Wildlife Services, and within 15 minutes of arriving at my house, he knew what the problem was (squirrels) & had a plan to handle it. Of course it took a few days to actually resolve the issue, but Ray came by every day for a week to check in & refused to accept any payment until he was confident they were gone. Ray of Northeast Wildlife Services recently answered my call regarding a porcupine whonhad taken up residence underneath our deck. We have 5 dogs and were extremely concerned about this discovery. Ray came out the following morning, boarded up the deck area and set 3 traps. Next morning we had a porcupine in a trap. Ray came right over to collect it and took it to a large forest to where he released it. Even sent us a video of it running into its new home. We cannot recommend Ray enough. He is professional, knowledgeable, and cares about the animals. He will be returning in the spring to trench and enclose our deck to exclude any animals from setting up house. read more
