Niko is detailed oriented and careful with his art. I'm so in love with my tattoo! He did an incredible job with my Black Bear paws. I will definitely go back to him! I liked that she put thought on how the tattoo would look YEARS later, very valuable knowledge. Her quality of work is amazing and worth every penny. She is light handed with her work, and she banged out my tattoo in 3+ hrs with no breaks. I will definitely be coming back again for more tattoos. Thanks Steph!! Check out her Instagram for her tattoo art, I don't think there's anything she can not do!! @steph_d_rtist

Today is my birthday and I wanted to get a tattoo for my birthday. I've been communicating with them via messenger and had an appointment scheduled for 1 PM today. The appointment was made several weeks ago. As it is my birthday I made plans around this appointment. It was very disheartening and disappointing to get no response after several attempts on confirmation of my appointment. After finally getting a response that they can accommodate me but had to push me back later in the day, which did not work with my birthday plans. Again, I did not use them and can't vouch for how good or bad they are regarding the work they do, but the experience I had was a sour one.

Came back here July 28, 2018. I knew I'd come back here if I ever got another tattoo. Glad I was…read moreable to keep my promise, as I wanted Rick to do the new ink. Rick is awesome. It'd been like 6 years since I'd been to his OLD shop, and he remembered me and remembered details of the conversation we had when I got my tattoo then. That blew me away, but it just goes to show the kind of person he is. It's not just putting ink down. It's allowing your vision for your tattoo to come through. I went with him 6 years ago for that reason, and he continues to be the same way, allowing his professionalism to shine through as he puts your vision into form. He's super high-tech, as well. Blew me away when he super-imposed the picture of my tattoo onto my arm with some virtual reality A.I. program on his iPad. I was able to see it before he'd even put it on my arm. The process, as last time, was super chill. I trust his artistry. Granted, I had more of a vision of what I wanted... but even his process of tweaking and asking good questions so that you get exactly what you want, but also something that will make 'tattoo sense' (just made that up, not sure if it's an actual phrase, but you catch my drift). All in all, as before, he killed the tattoo. I took public transportation from Brooklyn... 2 hours each way... just so that I could come have him do my tattoo. Highly recommend. HIGHLY!

The closest piercing shop to me so I'd figure I'd go since there really isn't negative reviews. The…read morepiercer seemed friendly at first, I asked for a tongue piercing but had a few questions at first (obviously this will be in my mouth I have a lot of questions). I asked the basics like the healing time, what can I and can't eat, what do I use to clean it/how often, etc. He immediately told me that it seemed that I had done too much research online (Why wouldn't I? Everyone should do research before getting a piercing). He told me to use mouthwash with alcohol and rinse frequently/ after every meal. I sat down got the piercing it was quick and painless, I paid him and might I add I left a $10 tip which I now know he did not deserve. I got home and immediately noticed the piercing was off centered..the bar is leaning towards the left side of my mouth, I let this go bc it was the first day and my tongue was very swollen. I went and bought mouthwash specifically with alcohol and continued to use it regularly and brushed my teeth in the morning and at night. I kept icing my mouth to reduce swelling, as well as always making sure to drink cold water. I've only been eating apple sauce and ice cream. Day 2 and 3 I kept waking up with a sticky dry mouth and noticed my tongue was coated with blood and a white discharge coming from the piercing. I continued to follow his instructions. Day 4 I woke up with the same problem so I decided to do further research and every single reputable piercer and piercing site/forum strictly advised against mouthwash with alcohol because this can over dry and cause irritation/ prolonged healing. It's recommended to use a sea salt rinse after every meal and only to use mouthwash without alcohol in the morning and at night. So for this first time this morning I decided to use a sea salt rinse from H2O (for oral piercings) and switched to an alcohol free mouthwash. My tongue is no longer bleeding but I'm still noticing puss. I called to tell him about the issue and he immediately started getting angry and telling me it's because I went against what he said, he didn't even listen to the part where I said I had switched to a sea salt rinse only this morning bc of the constant bleeding. He continued to be rude and kept telling me he couldn't help because "I was telling him he said something when he didn't and that I wasn't following his directions" WHEN all I did was follow his directions and end up in this exact situation. He also said it was impossible for puss to come out if I was using an alcohol mouth wash which I WAS for the past 3 days up until today. When I said I kept waking up with a blood coated tongue and sticky dry mouth he decided to be smart and say "that's impossible there's salvia in your mouth your mouth will never dry out". He told me he wasn't a doctor and didn't know what to tell me.. but isn't a professional piercer supposed to offer some sort of advice or help? He kept saying he didn't have time to deal with me. I then told him the piercing was totally off centered and he said "no it's not it was straight when I pierced it", so how exactly did it end up like this then? Did I take it out after 4 days and re pierce it crooked myself? Please don't ever go here or encourage anyone to. This has been a nightmare. Definitely not a professional based off of this experience and the fact he didn't take accountability for giving me a crooked piercing or telling me to follow the wrong directions. I'll have to go to my doctor to see what's really going on. Again go to a different shop. None of this was worth the trouble UPDATE: Bleeding has not stopped I've been bleeding heavily now for 3 hours. I think he pierced the wrong spot of my tongue bc I shouldn't be bleeding for 5 days straight. I went to urgent care and they told me he pierced it in the wrong spot. The crookedness of it was causing bruising under my tongue and to my tongue webbing, they said it had to be taken out so I just wasted $50 to only have a piercing for 5 day! Thanks Michael :-)
