She has been a breath of fresh air to the whole team- they are all noticeably more friendly and pumped to be there- I don't take a ton of classes but got in with one of Aaron's today and it was so fun... I was intimidated to try to sauna and steam room for the first couple of months because it's coed, but it's really no big deal. I DO wish they had actual tanning booths like the site claims- not just red light therapy. These are different types of machines and I do feel that was misleading. And on the site it does say there are pools and hot tubs but my location does not have either which is a bummer. The locker rooms are almost always spotless and the showers are nice and large, though water pressure is lacking. I just scheduled my pt appt and I look forward to that session! There is great turf space for functional strength training and there are always enough weights to go around if you just look- I love the inferred yoga classes too! I've taken a couple of the dance classes and a bunch of the studio red HIIT classes and will continue to... All in all, this gym is absolutely amazing-- if it had a hybrid uv/red light therapy tanning booth I'd be so thrilled!

I asked him to stop and he wouldn't; he also chose to make it a racial issue.."this isn't 2020 anymore.." So I asked a sales employee to request that he move his ball-bouncing somewhere else. His response was that he couldn't force him to do anything. I replied that I was there first and wasn't interested in getting hit in the head. When I came downstairs to talk to this employee later, here's what he wanted to know: have I ever had a functional mobility test? That felt like a slap in the face and a money grab, and I made it clear that I wouldn't be signing up for any training packages. So we went from, I don't want to get hit in the head to a functional mobility test? Please watch how you speak to senior citizens and please stop this. It's extremely insulting. Thank you.

I rode my bike across the state of Iowa in a recreational bike ride now for the past two years and have trained for and completed multiple Chicago marathons. I exercise at the local YMCA 3-4 times a week and go to hot yoga classes at least three times a week in addition to running and biking every chance I get....With all that said, NONE of this prepared me for what I experienced when I met Brian and walked into Techny Fitness! I was naively skeptical that Brian could teach this aging old dog new tricks. But Brian is a fitness guru and has showed me exercises I never knew existed. I've worked muscles I never knew I had. After five sessions at Techny Fitness I feel like I've accomplished more than five months solo at the YMCA. He's always got a new piece of equipment to show me or a new routine that completely blows my mind and exhausts my body. Brian has over ten years experience as a personal trainer, and has an endless wealth of knowledge when it comes the human anatomy, diet and of course training the body. The facility is located in a racket ball court with forty foot ceilings in a cool, dry basement. Well lit, always clean, perfect conditions for a big dude like myself who sweats constantly during rigorous workouts. I love his circuit style of training. He isolates muscles at times and completely mixes it up other times. He has taught me the key to seeing results is confusing the body and not letting it get used to a routine of always doing the same things. He trains men and woman ten years younger than me and also folks who are 10-20 years older than me. Each person is different and I see that he takes the time to understand each individuals goals and caters the exercise routine accordingly. If you're looking for real results and are willing to put in the effort, this is your one stop gym! Thank you, Brian!

I visited Midtown before as a prospective member so I know that guests can only enter a limited number of times. We went upstairs past the cardio machines (they are plentiful) and the weight area to the cafe. There are tables and booths that overlook the outdoor pool area (closed for season). It wasn't a large brunch but we had some made-to-order omelets, bacon/sausage and fruit. There was also some potatoes and pastry. When I sat down to eat I received a text from Midtown about a membership. The brunch was bottomless although one omelet was enough for me. I also had two emails from Midtown when I got home, one a waiver of liability and the other a membership offer. I didn't join as a member on my previous visit and I am not going to join now. I already have a Pilates membership that includes three studios with classes from 6am-8pm. Midtown has a Pilates studio but none of the class times work for me. They also have some reformers in the middle of the cardio area reserved for private lessons. If I have a private lesson I would prefer to be in a secluded area, not in the middle for all to see. The facility has many machines, a boxing area, a cycling studio, a theatre, a spa, a cafe, courts, pool, etc and this is a great place for those who need this. There are families who spend the morning at lessons, classes, workouts, then join up in the cafe. This is great for those who are looking for this but it doesn't fit my needs right now.

The atmosphere is calm and focused, not overcrowded or chaotic like many other gyms. One of the biggest advantages is that the equipment is always available. If someone is looking for a gym that is clean, quiet, organized, and actually allows you to complete your workout without delays, this is definitely the place to go.

I paid for the bday party before event seeing the space, but was so impressed with the beautiful gym, track and party room when we got there. They also have a workout room that looks pretty nice. It ended up being the perfect spot for our party and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again in the future. I even suggested it to a friend planning a basketball themed bar-mitzvah, but unfortunately they don't allow alcohol in the space. I've been back recently with my son for basketball open gym since it's one of the few local gyms currently offering times. Thanks to the pickleball craze it's becoming harder to find open gym time for basketball, but they have it here at TPAC and the times (located online) are pretty convenient.

Almost 3 years ago, I was recommended by a friend of mine to check out FIT Boutique and immediately decided to purchase a ten-session package - the prices are very fair. The gym was a new environment for me; there was so much to learn, and I was just a beginner. The owner, Jim, made me feel comfortable and welcomed whenever I stepped foot in FIT Boutique, answering any questions I had regarding exercise. As an all-around very friendly and knowledgeable guy, Jim really motivated me to continue pursuing strength and good health for years to come! My goals when signing up included building muscle, endurance, and strength. My trainer, Shane, instituted growth in me through a vast amount of exercises that helped me reach my goals, and after just the first 2 sessions I was beginning to see the results I wanted. Throughout the process, he motivated me to push myself, and also made sure I felt good after each workout. Needless to say, this was a life-changing period of time for me as I gained skills, perfected form, and I continue to learn exercises. I definitely recommend you check out FIT Boutique!

Jim, the owner and my trainer has been cool and flexible with my schedule and has provided just the right amount of motivation without making things unpleasant. The price is a bit expensive, but you are paying for good equipment in a convenient location, and one-on-one time with a professional. When I am there, the gym is not crowded and the music has been good. Try it out - as far as I know, the $100 for 8 1 hour personal training sessions is still going.
