Still my go-to for any issues. Recently had the flu and the heavy coughing made my neck, shoulders and upper muscles stiff. Dr Shannon Burke to save the day! She is such a joy to go to and I can trust her to make the necessary adjustments to align my body. She is always so positive and I can't recommend her enough. Treatment usually also involves stim and ultrasound (they use bio freeze for the ultrasound and it's like a mini massage.. my favorite). Ive read some of the other reviews and do think that maybe one of the assistants that work there are not my favorite (not terrible but not over the top friendly if that's what you're expecting.. except dr Shannon haha she is definitely so smiley and friendly ) but overall the staff is pleasant and personable. read more

Literally got up and walked out of here just now. Whoever they have working the front desk is rude and unprofessional. I came to get an alignment with my husband and as my husband got out of the car he fell on Ice and really hurt his knee. When we walked in I let her know they needed to put some salt down because my husband just fell. Instead of apologizing and asking if he was ok, her response was "well we rent so...." I said so then you need to let whoever you rent from know that my husband just fell. Never asked my husband if he was ok, rolled her eyes and walked away with a total attitude. Dr. Shannon is REALLY good. I have fibro and a pinched nerve and she has been getting me back on my feet very quickly. She is very open to what you have to say and responds well with a vast pool of knowledge. She listens and gives good advice even when she might not be able to help you , she lets you know what to go ask your regular doctor about. The clinic is integrative meaning they are open to different ideas and they include physical therapy with your chiro appointment. A huge key for true healing. read more

I have to say, despite being open to non-traditional medicine, I do tend towards skepticism. I'm usually of the "gimme a pill or sew it up" mindset. That said, Dr. Shannon Burke has won me over to the wonderful world of chiropractics! She is extremely knowledgeable. You will notice that straight-away. I have a finely tuned bull sh*t meter, and I detected none from Dr. Burke. I went in today for the first time for on-going neck pain/stiffness which I directly attribute to all the stupid people in the world I come across on a daily basis. Dr. Burke did a very thorough job examining me, then worked her magic. Yes, there were some worrisome snap, crackle, pops involved, but contrary to my fears, they didn't leave me paralyzed. Went to see Dr Shannon Burke for chronic neck pain that I have been having for quite some time. With in 2 appointments my neck pain was much better and it was the first time in 4 months that I feel ready to go back to Brazilian jiu- jitsu. I woke up this morning with awful TMJ pain and was unable to close my mouth fully because of jaw spasms. They found time for me to see Dr Hovig within an hour. He did an assessment and began treatment to relieve the pain and release my jaw muscles. Now, just 6 hours later the pain is reduced by about 90% and my jaw movement is almost back to normal. I WAS going there for years and no one can do an adjustment as well as Dr. Hovig. Dr. Shannon is great too and the staff WAS great. But for some reason they decided to hire a real nasty woman to do their billing. She was inundating my insurance company over and over again with the same claims and it appeared as if she was double billing me. This woman wouldn't answer my questions as to how she reconciled a charge date with payments made. Basically she thought she could charge me all of what my deductible amount was (even if I had met the deductible in another doctor's office). Then trying to get my account straight was a nightmare. I spent hours on the phone with the insurance company finding out the office had been billing additional charges from 2 years back. The billing woman just kept telling me that it was my insurance company that was horrible. Strange since I have no issues with other health professionals. The office uses a clearing house and instead of letting me know -UP FRONT- they had issues and are sending charges that were missed they just said "your insurance company has a problem." The doctors and staff (minus one) are great so if you have go to this office make sure you get the total and actual charge for the visit before leaving in writing and then you won't be getting a huge bill over a year later even though your personal bookkeeping shows you paid in full. read more

Before I started to see dr Burke for lower back and neck pain 10 yrs ago, I was 35 years old and walking hunched over from pain. Yes, I had to see her multiple times a week initially. I was not convinced chiropractic was going to help but I'd already tried physical therapy with very little, if any, benefit. Within a short period of time I began feeling better, and walking better. 10 years later, I can say without reservation that dr Burke is one of the best Chiros out there (I have to believe there's another awesome Chiro out there...somewhere, just haven't found them yet!). She's fixed things that I didn't realize she could, so now I tell her of any pains I'm having and she usually resolves them (ie: pinched nerve in hand, shoulder stiffness, hip pain). I've since moved 60 miles away and still see dr Burke when my back, neck, sciatica act up. She's stabilized my body so much that I rarely have issues any longer (if I treat my body right). I've tried to find an equal, or even 1/2 as good, Chiro closer to me without success. I've seen no less than 7 other chiros closer to me with zero success. Dr Burke cares deeply about her patients. She actually listens to me and cares that I feel better. I reccommend her without reservation. read more
