If I can give less then one start I would , I went to ask for information about the school , and a a lady barely opened the door didn't wanted to explain anything I was asking question and she was very rude , she doesn't even invite me to get in and explain she left me hanging at the door , horrible horrible service I would never recommend anyone to this school with this kind of people , I'm also work in the service industry and that's not the way to treat people .... read more

My son Samuel had an amazing experience at the school. The teachers were engaging, they were well prepared and they had the upmost respect for the students and the parents. Sadly I had to discharge my son because the school was little too far from where we live and we needed something a closer. Otherwise we would have gladly have kept him there. Like every parent sending their child to nursery school for the first time, I visited and researched so many places before choosing North Side. The director, Irene, is wonderful. She encouraged me to call her during the day to check on my son who had separation anxiety. The staff is warm and pleasant. I love the fact that the teachers do a correspondence book. The place is clean. After a few weeks my son now tells me he had a good time at school and no longer cries when I leave. Yay. read more

After research and visits to different schools/daycares. We choose North Side as our baby's "First" school. Have to admit, I was nervous and stressing out, she was only 2 years old! After a year in NS, I am glad to said we made the right choice. Teachers and helpers were loving and caring, the whole school was nicely run. My baby had grew so much and became such a little lady. She is now well socialized (from crying and sitting in the corner by herself during the first months). Knows her routines, eating, napping, potty trained. She comes home singing new songs, knowing her ABC, numbers, colors and shapes. Did I mentioned the beautiful new playground? It is such a bonus for the kids, she LOVES the playground. =) read more

My son attend the preschool program and is currently in the pre-K program at North Side in Whitestone. I am truly happy with the staff as they are all friendly and attentive. My daughter was enrolled in NSS in Sept 2017. She started in the classroom of Ms Archna who had lovely assistant teachers Ms Silvana and Mr Anthony. Throughout the year in Ms Archna's class, she developed beautifully because of the care and encouragement received at the school. I love NSS nourishing environment. NSS staff is great and accommodating, the director is always willing to help. I highly recommend NSS. read more

Both of my children went to North Side School, and I am so happy with our choice to send them there! It is such a wonderful program, with excellent, warm, caring teachers. Both of my children were nurtured so well there, and grew and developed so much. They were very well prepared for kindergarten, but the curriculum was age-appropriate (not pushing elementary school academics down to preschool) and they focused on the whole child. They were also extremely parent-friendly. Ms. Kouba is a gem. The staff felt like family, and I still miss them. Highly recommended! read more
