I Bought new tires for my John Deere Lt 155 and went the shop { these guys were busy} but they swapped my tires while I waited. I was expecting to drop them off and pick them up in a few days. That was nice of them. And the price, much better than the hardware store where i purchased the tractor from and whom i used for my service. Not any more as their prices have gone through the roof for repairs. I'm done with the Hardware store. Then the next month i needed my belts (deck and transmission belt ) changed. MBD did the job at a very reasonable price. A month later one belt popped off, Charlie had his guys pick up the Tractor the same day i called and dropped if off the next day. Thank god, i had leaves to mulch. No charge, labor or pickup/ delivery. Charlie, stood behind his work and did it expeditiously. Steve knows everything, and more importantly, more than me!…read more i have a Blue Star, which has been a bear to fix, mostly because "authorized service" people mostly don't show up, and the ones that did caused more harm than good....Because of numerous factors like COVID, it took a while to convince him to come all the way from Marblehead, which IS a pain, to take a look....my unit is 15 years old, and has been badly serviced by other "authorized" people, but he went through the whole thing and said he could restore it to as new performance...Took a few weeks to get the parts, which are notoriously difficult to obtain because BlueStar seems to have monkeys as parts guys ( I know, I've been dealing with them for 10 years), and on the day he had scheduled it , he showed up with ALL the ordered parts, and spent 4 hours removing, replacing, and most importantly correcting the absolutely grotesque kludge 'repairs' done by others...(I'll tell you who if you ask)....miswiring, mislocated sensors, and even a wire broken INSIDE THE insulation due to being yanked too hard while installing, which is hard to do, and much more...I watched this command performance the whole time, as I had been tortured by this stove for ten years and took it personally! My sister is a trauma surgeon, and this process was very similar, without the blood! At six pm, he fired it up, and everything worked ! All the igniters, the convection fans purred, the oven knob turned on the oven rather than the broiler, which it hadn't done properly for three years (due to the FG).....Also has all new top burners, and the oven temp is perfect....works better that it did the first day it arrived in 2007....This all wasn't cheap, but for an (originally) $11,000 oven that now sells for $23,000 (!!!!), I couldn't be happier....He also had the kindness to wander over and help me reinstall the dishwasher food macerator I was struggling with at the same time....Knowledge and experience are always helpful!....For some reason, he's always busy, so be nice and be patient...it's worth it...and his wife , who runs the show, is a gift to mankind!
