Not exactly sure what to rate this place. On the bright side for this joint, hand car wash places are slim pickings around this area. The price is good, at least for an exterior wash, which is what I got for two of my cars. I can't complain too much about the wash for the low prices I paid - $11 for a coupe exterior wash including wheels and $10 for a SUV exterior wash sans wheels. There is also a higher piece of mind coming here than some other places - - it's unlikely for them to scratch your car being that it's a true hand wash place and there is no track your car goes thru to potentially scratch the rims. You drive your car thru the hand wash hut, stopping a couple of times in between. My coupe was $8 for an exterior wash and "spray wax" of the car including rims. They up sold me to $11 including tire cleaning. They did a pretty decent job, not super thorough, but I'm just glad they didn't scratch my car. For the price it was a good car wash. The main thing I didn't like was the direct angle strong force hose water sprays onto the sides of the car. A car purist would be pissed. Maybe teach the guys to spray from an angle and lower the water force a notch. I also had them exterior wash my crossover. This was $10 including rims but not including the tires. I was less pleased this time around. They really did a half ass job on the suv. There was soap left on the side of the passenger side mirror as they rushed me thru their hut in record speed before they could properly wash off the soap. Also the rim cleaning which was supposed to be included was spotty. I also didn't like how the employees sometimes bang on the side of the car to signal you to advance the car thru the hut as you can't see anything thru the windshield between all the foam and water. They should gently knock on the window instead if they have to or just hollar. I know there are better hand car wash places in ny. One in Staten Island is only $25 for full service interior and exterior and good quality too. Maybe competition around Central Jersey is weaker. read more

North Plainfield Hand Carwash - The water rinse and wipe down was so inadequate there was soap left on the mirror I had to get one of the guys to come back to wipe it off. - Car Wash Near Me - North Plainfield, New Jersey

The service here could be a lot better. I do love a good hand car wash, but they don't really do that good of a job and they normally get really backed up so they kind of slack on the service on your vehicle if they're a little bit too backed up. read more

I'm just has the worst car wash at this place. Asked for full service and when I got to my car I couldn't believe how dirty it was. The wheels had black all over them, the interior was never wiped I mean nothing. Cup holders were just as they weee before, screen full of finger tips etc.i asked for assistance and no one understood me so I asked for a rag to clean it myself. I wil never come here again. What a rip off. I'm adding photos below read more

This is a busy hand car wash that does a decent job. But the hand wash by two guys is a quick once over with a wash mit for 2-3 minutes. There is no thorough washing here, and I'm not sure there is a rinse bucket for wash mits. The hand towel dry and interior cleaning really depends on how many are working that day. When its busy expect a quick towel dry and a basic vacuum and mat cleaning. There will be water spots left inside and out. The place does have undercarriage cleaning using a power washer connected to sprayer that is rolled under your car. For a quick hand wash to remove salt and road grime this place does a decent job. Pricing is getting expensive however. For GX460 suv, the interior+exterior was $25 plus another $10 for the undercarriage. $35 is pricy... I will be looking for other touchless car washes for less. read more

Great price and they do a great job. Car looks shiny and clean. Highly recommend. Yelp wants 85 characters. What more can I say about a car wash? read more

This place really went to s**t . I originally had a 5 star review. I've been using them for a long time on all my cars and really loved their service. The last three car washes, my car has been left extremely dirty and I paid for the full service w/ tire shine and spray wax. I understand sometimes it gets very busy, but paying customers shouldn't be given half ass service for full price. read more

Too expensive and no hand car wash anymore new management is horrible. Charging extra for everything.

Thorough job, inside & out, especially for the price. Pretty fast too. The system is a little hard to figure out on ur first visit, but no big deal. Would love longer hours. But definitely worth the visit & price ! read more

This was straight robbery. Went for a simple wash, vacuum and armor seats charged me 27$ claiming it was a full service which would have included tire shine, windows in and out plus under carriage wash and rain-x. Never mind the terrible job with the wash in itself. read more

I come here when going home from my nail appointment. It's at the BP gas station and unless you know it's here it's easy to miss as there is no signage on Route 22. It's completely hand wash - the guys are inside with hoses soaping up your car and then dry it when it comes out. For $16-$20, depending on whether you have a car or a large SUV you can get the full service which includes vacuum, interior wipe down, window cleaning, rim cleaner and tire shine. For what you pay they do a decent enough job but I end up going home and getting the armor all to really get it clean on the inside like I want. But I give these guys credit, they're here year round in cold snow to hot summer days. read more

I don't recommend this place. I took my car there to wash it , as soon as they finished cleaning it I opened the trunk and the rear window broke. There was a lot of garbage in the center where the glass makes contact with the rubber. They just brought the garbage from the sides to the center and probably when they closed the trunk after they cleaned it, it caused some type of pressure and made the window break into small pieces when I opened it. They said they were not responsible for that. read more

Very disappointed that I wasted $16 on this car wash when I could have went to emerald city up the street. They move way too fast and do NOT take time to actually clean your car. Very upset I wasted my money and my car is still dirty and now I have pieces of towels everywhere ! read more

Every time I go to this gas station the gas attendees are either sitting in the booth and take there time coming out or are always on the phone plus they take there precious time. Today took the cake thought, I pulled in with my brand new car and the attendant used the "metal" gas nozzle to open the gas door. I proceeded to tell him to take it easy on my car politely. Lucky my car did not revive any damage and to add insult to injury he proceeded to tell his friend the story and he looked directly at me while pointing and laughed as I drove. I rather pump my own gas thank deal with lazy disrespectful gas attendants. read more

I've been going here for over two years because of the hand wash, the past couple of times that I have come I've had to dry the car myself. What's even more disturbing is that they go and sit down and watch me dry what they missed, if you want to sacrifice your car being dryer properly for a hand wash then this place will do the job. I did speak to the Manager that seemed like he could care less... Bring a extra towel with you!!! read more
