And they ask you to sign an agreement allowing them to charge the card directly for any payment overdue for 60 days. If you have any dispute with them on the bill, good luck. They don't need your consent to charge you based on the agreement. 2. They refuse to delete your credit card info even if treatments are completed and paid for. I asked them if they could do so. They told me no. I walked away from this place after learning about the above practices. Now, after reading other reviews about their billing, I feel that I dodged a bullet.

Dr. Richard Woo's background and online reviews are commendable; therefore, I felt comfortable going to him. Although there were some issues scheduling a date because he recently moved offices from San Mateo to Burlingame, the receptionist was helpful and patient, which is a good sign. After "encouraging" my DD to wash her feet out of respect for the doctor, we went to the appointment yesterday and waited about 10-15 minutes to be seen. Dr. Woo is professional and personable...very nice guy overall. He did a thorough examination on my DD. Of course, I always ask lots of questions and he answered each one. Some of the questions didn't pertain to my daughter but I wanted to see if he would go the extra mile within reason. I liked the fact that he recommended OTC arches and certain shoes that would help my DD. He explained that custom-made orthodics are expensive and most insurance companies do not cover them. However, if the OTC orthodics don't work, we will need to follow up with him. I would recommend him and will go see him in a few months (if I don't chicken out) for my appointment. The office is bare but clean. They just moved in recently, so the decorations are on the back burner.

I have not seen him for over 15 years but must say He is probably the honest and most experienced surgeon. I hurt my ankle in skiing and became limping in walking. I saw at least 10 doctors specialized in sports medicine, including a few from Stanford and for famous athletes. All had the same solution, bone crafting. I finally decided on one surgeon and asked him if he would recommend a doctor to consult one more last time. He recommended Dr. Oloff and was confident that Dr. Oloff would recommend the same procedure. After reviewing the X films, believe it or not, he said only one sentence; there was no way to fix my ankle to perfect even with bone crafting. I asked what he would do, "I could remove the symptom (limping) to let you walk normally but the injured bone is there forever". With an advanced degree in engineering, I listened to his very brief explanation but was fully convinced from a physics perspective. He performed a microscopic surgery on my ankle and even handed me a video of his operation. Avoided two big cuts, no more limping for the last 25 years, but certainly I wouldn't be able to race 400- or 800 meters again. Still hiking, ball playing for a limited time. I went back to see him again about 10 years after the surgery because of occasional pain. After looking at the X films, he said "I have a $100 solution and a $10k solution". He explained both and I chose the $100 solution. I spent less than $10 and overcome the pain. Being a surgeon, he did not promote surgery every time. I since referred a few to him, he did no surgery on all of them. He even knows which pharmacist to make a special formula cream to treat a bone pain (my wife gets full recovery with an Oloff cream on her dancing feet). I think it would be a huge loss if he is not sought to be a professor at a medical school. Busy with his schedule, he doesn't say too much but all his patients, please listen to him carefully, he is definitely a unique and amazing surgeon in the universe.

After diagnosing my sesamoid injury, he immediately launched into talking about removing one sesamoid, if that didn't work removing the other sesamoid, and then how removing both sesamoids could require fusing the big toe joint. When I said I would like to fully explore conservative care, all he could recommend was to wear a boot. I learned far more about conservative care from Dr. Richard Blake's online blog posts. Dr. Oloff is an example of a doctor who is racing between appointments and seems to be trying to get out the door soon after walking in. I highly recommend seeing a different podiatrist.

Dr. Hannah Lee is an exceptional podiatrist!!!…read more After visits with 2 internal medicine physicians, 2 podiatrists, multiple x rays, and after a week of excruciating and debilitating pain that prevented me from walking properly, I finally found grace by finding Dr Hannah Lee!!! Dr. Hannah Lee saved my foot in ONE visit! Tiny and extremely difficult to see foreign splinter(s) were lodged in my foot making walking so painful and difficult. For about a week, I was in absolute misery, pain and frustrated by the numerous healthcare professionals that could do nothing. Some even made me feel gaslighted because according to them, "if nothing appears on X-rays then there is nothing there and nothing can be done.". This is not true. When I finally found Dr. Lee and got to see her, it was 100% a different experience from the other providers immediately. I felt so safe in her care, confident about her expertise and judgement, and got the sense she truly cared for me and my well being even though we just met! Dr. Lee listened to me, examined my foot, and saw the issue that needed to be addressed! She was completely understanding and empathetic and explained sometimes if too small, X-ray might not pick up the image. She had the skill and confidence to find and surgically remove the tiny foreign objects, which she showed me after the procedure, that were causing me so much pain and misery. She did so in ONE visit , with minimal discomfort, and though my foot was sore from procedure, immediately after it, I was able to walk without that sharp, debilitating pain I was feeling prior to this visit. I saw her again as follow up and she assured me all was ok and then helped my feet look and feel so much better in my second visit with her! She is so kind, compassionate, skilled and gave me wonderful advice no other foot specialist took the time to give me before. Not only did Dr. Lee save my foot, my ability to walk normally and exist in life, she also saved my holiday plans to spend time with family and loved ones. If my foot wasn't fixed I would have been completely isolated for the holidays , unable to walk normally, and in excruciating pain. The hispanic lady with the glasses clearly didn't want to do anything to help she asked me what i was here for clearly stated i need a minor abscess drained "she says we cant do that here need to go to the ER for that." While waiting to find a better solution-somebody else comes in without an appointment (COMPLETELY OBVIOUS) right after me and she's able to set an appointment for care same day and told her to come back at 1:15PM. Not only that i saw her giggling, laughing, belittling then turn around her name badge- acting like j couldn't hear what they were saying. Not only did she not give me a solution that did not involve emergency room i.e. book me for an urgent care appointment elsewhere- this location was not even busy. Lazy staff. Low quality of care.
