The grocery store used to be called Korkels and many of the townies still call it that even though Korkel does not own the store anymore. The groceries here are basic. Just the typical things you may need in everyday life. I was very excited to see that the mini mall section reopened which has a little sporting goods store, video rental store and hardware. These are not independent merchants. All of this merchandise is part of the grocery store so you go there if you want to pay. Last time I was here the mini mall was closed and boarded up. You could look through the boards and see it in shambles so I am very happy to see that is no longer the case!

I told them what tackle I was using and they helped me dial it in. They gave me lots of recommendations and tips for the various lakes, streams in town. We get in the vehicle we realize he gave my fiancé another persons rental ticket by the name Jorge Rodriguez. My fiancé is Hispanic... They suggested we would steal the spikes then gave my fiancé another Hispanic persons ticket. The people here are racist & liars. We called the following day to see if the money would reload to which we were told that they don't do refunds all of the sudden. Overall you'd be better off buying some on Amazon before your trip if you are a POC.

Recently, we have begun enjoying snow shoeing in the winter, and needed an extra pair for a visitor, so in we went to Outdoor Gear, where they bent over backwards to get us outfitted for the very reasonable price of $6 for a 24 hour rental. The snow shoes worked great, the staff was friendly, problem solving (what to put on a dog's feet so they can go snow shooing too?) and it was a great experience. In the summer, the store can get crazy busy and it is less possible to get the full attention service like we did in the winter. In that case, wait your turn, present your need or problem, and they will do everything they can to help you! Your purchase will be top quality and last for years! I have a hiking pack from the 90's, my first pair of hiking poles from 2004, water bottles- all in working order today!
